The Wild Goose is located 2km from Mallow town located at the Dromahane junction of the N20 (Cork Mallow Road), only 15 mins from Cork City.

Our 200 seat restaurant caters for Lunch and Dinner. Our Sunday lunch Menu has proven to be Cork’s most popular Sunday menu, where people come from all over Munster to sample our delicious dishes. From Traditional dishes to Pasta imported from Italy, to our ever popular 9oz Hereford Beef burgers.

Our homemade desserts are all made on property by our pastry chef and our new Ice cream parlour dishes is proven to be popular with adults and kids alike.

    Lunch for 4 people and three of the meals very perfect but the fourth which included soup was extremely salty. It was soup the day (vegetable) and as I had previously ordered it and at the time again found it very salty I decided to write this review.

    Food and service was good. Noise levels very high. We were a group of Adult friends who only meet twice a year. The area our table was in was very noisy with screaming kids. I notice that other areas were quieter. We left after main course because of this

    It is a shame to see this place close, food is fabulous and the poor staff were lovely eventhough they are uncertain of their futures they were all very pleasant and efficient.

    Food was excellent and service A1. We are very sorry to hear the Wild Goose is closing as we visited regularly. My wife has trouble walking and we always requested downstairs and always got it. The online booking facility was always super efficient. Wishing all the staff there the best of luck for the future

    This is always a go to spot for catch ups with my friends group as it’s the perfect central location for us all to travel to and meet. The service is always top notch and the food gorgeous. The staff are also very patient with us when we are the ones still chatting holding them up from closing !!

    The Wild Goose never disappoints. As always it is a great place for our family to have a lovely meal celebrating landmark memories of our life. Food service and ambiance is always on point. Looking forward to many more meals there.

    Delicious food… courteous staff. Well priced for the amount of food you get. I would have liked a few ‘smaller dish options’ as I didn’t need to have such a large portion - but there weren’t many smaller options on the menu. Furniture was a bit ‘jaded’ (eg the faux leather on our chairs was all flaking off).

    Lovely food & good portion sizes. Service a touch slow but seems typical of most places these days! I liked that we had our own semi alcove when had a young child with us - easier to control!

    We absolutely love Dining in the Wild Goose, from my Father in Law down to the 5 year old - we all clear our plates. Highly recommend the food, the service and the surroundings. Keep up the Great work!!

    They people here where nice. My brothers girlfriend though food tasted like it was reheated. My mom asked for gluten free food but there was gluten in it because she was not well after it. I enjoy my time bit was not the best food ever.
