This is my favourite place to eat in the CBD. I have been there 3 times now and it never disappoints.
The service is excellent along with the food. I will be going back on my next trip to the City.

Great value dinner menu, though the courses started coming out a little quickly. Once we'd spoken to the right waitstaff, the service was more spread out. Food was excellent. Even the house wine was quite reasonable.

A lovely meal, as always, in as beautifully restored Art Deco space. The menu range for main courses is small but they are delicious and attractively presented. The service is excellent.

This was the second time that we dined at here and it was just as good as the first time. The service was excellent - one of our group didn't come, so the staff moved us to a nearby table with better seating for 5, at our request. The staff really try to go the extra mile. The food is also very good. We will dine here again.

Great lunchtime set menu.
Quality of food was very good.
The fillet steak was delicious and cooked perfectly! Passionfruit Brulee for dessert was divine.
Service is very friendly and professional.
Nice restaurant decor, very modern, clean and spacious.

We are members of a book club called The Happy Bookers,, so we needed an area where we could discuss the book we had to read whilst having coffee..and the Primus Hotel fitted the bill with a generous seating area...then on to lunch at the Wilmot..a few steps away, where we enjoyed a very good lunch , great food and
good service. The Happy Bookers will be back no doubt about that.

We had a wonderful afternoon and High Tea at The Primus.
The two items I would point out:-
The savoury element focuses on seafood (oysters, gravalax), which I absolutely loved, but it may not be for everyone.
We had two children with us (10 and 5) and they were keen to try the high tea but it was hard to do so at full price. I know nobody wants the hotel flooded with kids but it might be a nice idea to put together a kids option like similar hotels do.
Service was fine, overall I'd recommend.

How the Wilmot has escaped the flood of foodies that make up Sydney is inexplicable. The menu is varied and inventive. The food is absolutely fantastic. The surroundings are classy-cool 1920's revivalist.
Go now before the secret gets out!

The food was excellent but while the floor staff were friendly and professional, they were still learning. There was only one vegetarian dish on the menu, which had chilli in it. The staff were reluctant to offer an alternative. Once my wife finally spoke to the kitchen staff, they were only too happy to knock up a vegetarian pasta dish, which was beautiful. At $50 for two courses of excellent food and a not so excellent glass of wine, it's great value. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed the friendliness of the staff on duty the night we had our birthday dinner there, especially Manju who was very attentive. The dish I had was nice and spicy, the atmosphere entertaining and enjoyable. The lovely surprise was receiving a special birthday at the end, thank you so much. We are already planning our next visit there.
