Last meal out... outside before lock down mark two. Really enjoyed it. Nice and Cosy with Autumn leaves swirling above our heads. Burrata wrap was delicious washed down with a yummy glass of Malbec. The Staff were lovely and so efficient, felt safe and happy.
We’ve been to the Woollen Mills many times and it never fails to please. The food was excellent and plentiful. Our young lady server was gracious, friendly and efficient. I gave a score of 4 for ambiance only because it was a cold wet night and we were, of course, outdoors.
However they had excellent shelter and heaters in place. A thoroughly good experience.
We dined in the outdoor section due to covid restrictions, it was cosy and there were heaters to keep people warm. Service and food was fantastic and I’ll deffo go back when restrictions are lifted.
Staff were very friendly and food was tasty. Would go back and would recommend.
The food and the service was good but there were people doing drugs behind where we were sitting outside. I know that's not in their control but was still not a very comfortable experience.
We didn't need to wait to be seated, the food was to die for and our waitress was super nice. Good work!!
Very good pizza, staff are nice. Location is good and the outdoor heaters keep you warm, I’ll be back
Fantastic, great value for money and food was served fast
Lovely outdoor table and awesome service! Recommend pizza for Sunday brunch.
Excellent service. Very accommodating staff. Great food. A lovely dining experience. I’d very much recommend it.
Loved the Pizza menu, ace idea to keep places going during a pandemic and keep people employed.
Great servise as always and comfotable warm seating outside for people watching.
Pizza was very bland, I didn't like the taste of it. Other than that everything is fine.
The starters and bowl of chips were very nice but the pizza was somewhat disappointing, especially as they are only serving pizzas. They were not particularly tasty. The service was very good.
The menu was very limited (starters and pizzas) and the kitchen closed early. However the service was pleasant and the wines were satisfactory.
I would like to visit then again when the COVID 19 restrictions are finished.
Service was incredible. A mistake was made with my order but the server was incredible helpful! Would highly reccommend.
Service a bit rude
Excellent service, cozy atmosphere, will definitely come back:)
I know we are in COVID times but two sandwiches for €20 was a bit steep. No teas or coffee just tap water to accompany the food. Nice but expensive.
We ordered both antipasti starters and a half bottle of malbec. Everything was so fresh, delicious and very well presented. Very good value for money too.
Food was lovely and the staff were nice too, the outdoor seating had heaters to keep warm but would still recommend bringing a jacket
Great meals, view and service! Defo will be back soon
We had a great time. The service was great. But the tomato sauce on the pizza was too watery. Other than that it was great!
Great staff and service. Food was lovely, arrived in good time.
Thanks to all at The Woolenmills. We had a lovely lunch. We felt safe and relaxed because you adhered to guidance. Thank you for showing up for work in difficult times so that we could experience normal again.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and food was to die for!
I received something that I didn't order, the waiter wasn't helpful and he seemed angry at my friend and I (for a mistake that we didn't make). The music was way too loud and I didn't feel comfortable.
Great place for lunch and have been for dinner too. gorgeous food Lovely staff .. fish and chip bag divine 🤗
Booked the woollen mills for a family lunch after reading some reviews. We were not disappointed. While a little pricey, the food was exceptional and the portions were a decent size. Our 2 year old daughter’s fish and chips was actual smoked haddock and hand cut chips, She absolutely loved it and left nothing on her plate. Our mains were top class. Excellent coffee also. The staff were attentive if a little forgetful. Lovely location and the place itself was spotless. Will definitely be back.
I've eaten here for breakfast a few times in the past and have found it a nice restaurant with decent food. On my most recent trip my partner and I were very disappointed with the food. A generous portion of chicken wings to start, which tasted fine. The beetroot, fennel and apple burger was extremely dry and overcooked as was the beef burger. The menu had what appeared to be nice options, ambience was good, wine was tasty, presentation of food was well done. Some of the waiting staff seemed hurried and under pressure. Maybe we visited on an "off night". I know all the new rules and regulations are taking their toll on everyone and perhaps the restaurant is still finding its way within this(social distancing and hand sanitising stations etc were all excellent)
Had such a lovely evening. Felt so comfortable and safe with Covid measures and menu and wine list both superb.
Cool feel to the place and felt that every procaution was taken to ensure all were safe.
Really loved the cocktails.
Will defo be back and would recommend to all
We went for dinner during covid measures. Inventive menu for starters and mains. Good seafood choices. Limited desserts. Tasty cocktails. Seemed expensive for what it was.
Woolen Mills is always a lovely dining experience - food is interesting and always good quality. And staff are pleasant and friendly
The food here is really good, friendly staff, and cosy atmosphere
The butternut squash Bhaji, curried crab claws and scallops, with the delicate black pudding were all fabulous. Noel our server was 5 star all the way, Great location and ambience !
Fabulous from start to finish
Fantastic setting, courteous staff, and an unbeatable view. I found my fry a bit salty and dry but otherwise delicious and a good value.
Amazing as always. Delicious food, delicious cocktails, attentive service, safe social distancing and hygiene standards. I even got a complimentary glass of Prosecco for my birthday! We’ll be back.
We wanted a good brunch to set us up for a full & energetic day in Dublin. Our research led us to The Woollen Mills, based on location & previous reviews, & we weren't disappointed. I had the Ha’penny Fry & my wife had Poached eggs with fried bacon, tomato and sourdough toast. Both were excellent & we would highly recommend to anyone seeking similar
Absolutely loved everything, our server Jitka and Noel were fantastic, the Fishy Bag was fantastic
