Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, moving me without asking from a group of loud people. Food was fab and just a nice chilled out restaurant
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Yarn. We were a group of 8, everyone enjoyed their food, wish we would have taken advantage of their group deal though. Nevermind, there is always next time. Thankyou
Great pizza, pitchers of margaritas and lovely atmosphere! Consistently good.
Staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was so yummy and delicious - left the place feeling very full. As a vegetarian, the veggie options can be hit or miss, and my pizza was one of the best I've ever had. My boyfriend, who's a very picky eater, loved his also. Was the best vibe and experince for our Valentine's day date
Great pizza, lovely brownie dessert. I can't get enough of the botanic aesthetic and friendly staff. 10/10 every time
Lovely little restaurant above the woollen mills. Great pizza, relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff. Prices are reasonable too. Will definitely go back.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Thanks! Unusual pizzas, very tasty. Brownie dessert was fantastic.
Always a pleasure to eat here. Good food and the staff are always friendly, attentive and good for a laugh!!
New Years eve dinner
Really enjoyed our evening here, food was delicious as usual, service was great with really friendly staff. Myself and my boyfriend come here regularly but were actually bringing our friends after telling them about it for so long and they absolutely loved it and will also be back! Great job guys!
Went for team Christmas dinner and it was a agreat choice. Food was excellent and service just as good. A little loud, so wouldn't go for a quiet dinner, but great for a group :) definitely recommend.
Really enjoyed the food. Great staff. Tables were a bit small and find it to be a little bit squashed when eating but it’s no major big deal. Will definitely be back
We had a great time at the Yarn. The staff were great, really pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent and we were all stuffed afterwards! Would hugely recommend.
Booked in for a late dinner after a show on Saturday night. Really great food and service and reasonably priced. Would recommend.
Not too bad.... The food was okay but the service was good. Ambience is pretty cool and I would recommend it for a lazy fun night out but not really for a speacial occasion.
Have eaten here a few times and always have a good meal with lovely cocktails. Everyone I bring to it always goes back themselves again, would definitely recommend it!
Well this was my second visit to the yarn after a very successful first visit I had very high hopes of it been just as nice and it did not disappoint it was even better then the first time . My pregnant partner litrally craved the chicken wings from here since our last visit so we went with chicken wings and chips for our meal which was excellent as always we then moved on to our desert we got chocolate brownie with ice cream the brownie was so fresh it litrally melted in your mouth. I don't even know where to begin with the service they go out of their way to help you with anything their always smiling and so pleasant to deal with Sarah is litrally the best customer service provider I've ever met in a restaurant just makes you feel so welcome I will definitely be back again for more chicken wings.
Had a fantastic work gathering at The Yarn recently. Great food, lovely setting, friendly staff, good wine, handy location and funky vibe.
Only thing is that we had to ask for the heaters to be switched on. Al Fresco in Ireland needs heaters.
I would recommend the buffalo wings and the eggplant fries.
Very limited menu, both with respect to food and wine.
Have been to The Yarn several times and have really enjoyed it. However, this time the service was really poor and really slow. One of the waiters kept answering in an obviously annoyed and sharp tone.. Didn’t make us feel welcome at all.. I’d say she just felt stressed but it wasn’t even that busy... It was really a shame because the restaurant is placed in such a beautiful location. And food was lovely.
Great food in a centrally located restaurant. The outdoor area has a lovely view of the Liffey. Reasonably priced too!
I visited the yarn on Sunday with my partner on arrival it was quite and we wore met with a smile from the lovely sarah she showed us to our seats which had a lovely view out onto the liffey we ordered the large portion of chicken wings to start with when the food arrived I was amazed at the great portion we had recieved the wings were the nicest wings I have ever eating outstanding would be an understatement we then moved on to our pizza a spicy pepperoni this arrived to our table and again I was amazed at how well cooked it was the perfect pizza as my girlfriend said ..the staff were amazing especially sarah she made our night perfect I would definitely return again for the service alone
Way too much cheese on pizzas, really greasy and messy. Cheese was way too overpowering.
We had an awesome evening at The Yarn. The waiters, the food and the cocktails were great. We enjoyed every minute there!
Great view of the Liffey in the outdoor seating area. Good selection of pizzas and cocktails/beers. Great for a date or a catch up with a few friends!
Highly recommend the Yarn for any occasion casual or otherwise. Fantastic value, quality of food & wine list. Staff are friendly & fun, relaxed atmosphere in beautiful rooftop view.
Food, interiors and overall experience was really enjoyable. I would definitely go back.
All of the pizzas we got were really tasty and the portions sizes were very generous. We really liked the look and feel of the place, it was comfortable and the outside seating area was really nice.
The only downside was it took us a while to get our bill after the plates were cleared, otherwise it was really great.
Some of the best, if by the best pizza in Dublin. Friendly staff and a very nice patio with a view overlooking the Liffey. Very accommodating, would recommend and will return.
Delicious pizza, wonderful view and excellent staff! I will be back to try the cocktail menu in the near future :)
Went on a Saturday evening for an early bite to eat before a gig, the food was tasty and plentiful, service was good and had a yummy cocktail, lovely place when the sun Is shining.
Excellent all round with amazing wine selection, one of the best in Dublin!
We visited The Yarn for my birthday earlier this week and such a lovely evening. The pizza is probably the nicest pizza I’ve ever had, so delicious! And the cocktails were fab! Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, nice setting and delicious food - what more could you want?!
We really enjoyed our meal in the Yarn, they were very accommodating with my request for a window seat out on the terrace which was very much appreciated and the staff were really friendly! We got the NYC pizza and the Margarita one, both were delicious and were a nice big portion too. The cocktail list is fab, I got the strawberry tarragon gin one and it was amazing! Loved The Yarn and would definitely recommend to all and return again!
gorgeous setting, delicious food and generous portions. the margaritas were exquisite. excellent value and really lovely staff. I can see it becoming a firm favourite for us
Visited The Yarn for a quick bite after work, but stayed til late !! The cocktails were superb, the bar tender had great knowledge. We had 2 pizzas and a Caesar salad and this was yum too. 10/10 !!!!
pizzas were doughy & stodgy, toppings ok. Waitress seemed a bit vague & asked if we were finished, and reached for our plates when my friend was less than half way through her food!! Poor dessert choices & had to get up to pay at the till as we couldn’t get the attention of a waitress. Won’t be back.
Hi brought a group of friends to The Yarn for Cocktails and Pizza and as always the food and drinks did not disappoint.
The staff are so nice and friendly and always make you feel welcome.
Thanks again for a great evening! Will always recommend to people
Food is slightly expensive but the service from the staff was lovely. Very welcoming and they really go the extra mile
Food is lovely here. Service is slow so don't come here if you're in a hurry as it's quite hard to get anyone's attention.
The food is only so-so and quite overpriced for what it actually is. I dont know how you can justify nine euro for aubergine fries or sixteen euro for a pizza with only four pieces of chorizo and four slivers of courgette. Very disapointing. Save your money and go to Cirillos instead. Friendly staff though.
