    It was decent food, service was fast too but my one issue is our table we were sat at had fruit flys all around we were sat at a table right next to the window, but as you might imagine this was quite disgusting while trying to eat so we asked to change and staff made a fuss about it. I said could be nice seats because there is flys everywhere about6-8 fruit flys and the server went to someone else and told them she came over with an attitude and told me she can’t see any flys so I said no problem if it’s this much trouble just to move table while the place is empty we’ll get the bill. She then agreed to let us get another table but definitely wasn’t impressed by that.

    Having eaten traditional Irish a few days , thought this would be something different. What a great experience, food was great and plentiful, drinks were good and service excellent. The team had great spirit and the party atmosphere was fantastic for all . A fantastic time was had - thanks

    I take my nephews in here quite frequently, they love the burgers and say they are the best they’ve ever had. But to me what I really appreciate about this place is the staff, they are so welcoming and patient with the kids and it really helps make the day.

    We had a brilliant time. It was our daughters birthday and they gave her balloons and sang to her with ice cream. They made her day! The food was absolutely delicious and every plate was emptied. Excellent value on the kids meals also. It was fantastic as usual! The staff were lovely and very helpful. 100%

    Booked for 50th birthday celebrations, visiting for the weekend from Scotland... arrived at 7.56pm for an 8pm booking and advised by a young lady host that our table needed to be reset and would be a few minutes. Asked us to wait in the bar area which we duly did. After about 20minutes, my friend went to ask the male welcome host how long the table would be and he hoped not long, they were just in the process of paying. Why did the original host not just tell us the previous table we're running so late when we first arrived? After another 10 minutes, the original host came to take us to our table. As we had now been kept waiting for half an hour and had after dinner plans we possibly would now be late for, my friend asked if we could be offered a complimentary drink for our inconvenience. The lady said she would have to speak to her manager and would come back to us. After about 45 minutes, despite walking past several times, and I must note looking very sullenly at us, the host never came back to us as promised, and the poor waitress was left to go and ask and sort out, by way of 3 strawberry daiquiris. Very poor of the host to not just complete dealing with the issue and left her poor colleague to deal with instead!! Not very nice teamwork there. The waitress however was lovely as was the male host and everyone else we came into contact with. The food was delicious and the atmosphere fantastic. This member of the team really let them down and hopefully will learn from this going forward. Thankyou.

    Very pleasantly surprised, had been awhile since I've been to Thunder Road cafe as I had bad experiences a few years ago. But the Food was really fresh and good quality, menu is really yum now and something for everyone and the staff were absolutely amazing, so nice and helpful. Will definitely be back!

    Overall I would recommend this place. The music is too loud if you want to have a conversation. We asked the waitress if the fajitas would be enough to share (they are 28€) and even tho she said yes, I wouldn’t share them if you do not get something else like a starter. The service was 10/10 and the food was delicious

    Music was way too loud, could not hear my partner at all. Seen some couples had to change seat and sit side by side so they could actually talk and the music wasn’t even good, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears blaring while your trying to have dinner not for me at all. My food was great burger was amazing and loaded chips very nice but my partners chicken wings were cold and too crispy with not enough meat. They also had a restroom attendant in the toilet which I always hate seeing. Be coming here for years but don’t think I’d be back.

    Food was not served as ordered. Asked for the taco sauce on their dirty fries to be replaced with blue cheese. However when the dish came, it was covered in taco sauce with the blue cheese in a tub on the side

    Had an amazing meal but what really shined through was the service we received. The waitress was so helpful and friendly, offering suggestions of good food, ensuring we had everything we needed, even leaving some of our sharing starter that we hadn’t finished eating as something to continue eating if we wanted to while we waited for our mains. She checked in to see whether we wanted a breather between eating our starter and our main as she knew how quickly our food was likely to be ready based on what we had ordered! She absolutely made the experience for us!
