   We had the prime rib dinner. It was delicious and served in a timely manner. Our only complaint was being sat in a corner with our backs to the rest of the restaurant. Having said that, we were facing outside with a great view but it felt weird to have my back to everyone and everything.

   We went for the Friday Prime rib but it was sold out by 6:45 when we arrived for our reservation time. Server told us it was on again tomorrow…so why not cook more then , if your having it two days in a row. Disappointed. The food we did have was very good.

   I was really hoping for much more from this establishment as it's part of a beautiful golf resort's main club house. We have been to most brunch places in Courtenay, and we were excited to try something new. We made a reservation, but it was actually empty on a Sunday morning for brunch and we knew why after we ate. Two of our party of four had the omelette and, we both felt like it was one of the worst we've ever experienced. The omelettes were very dry and hardly had any filling. I would've told our server, but he made no query about how we were doing. We all felt that we will not go back and will not recommend.

   Three of the four had the prime beef - spectacular. Nice mashed potatoes and gravy. The second best Yorkshire puddings I have had (my mother-in-law was from Yorkshire) and the beef was done to perfection. Two of our group had deserts the creme brûlée and the chocolate torte with ice cream. Best meal we've had in a restaurant in a long time. Highly recommended.

   We had a great hamburger and chips. Service was great. The views are pleasant with both the golf course and the mountains in the distance

   Our server (Sophie) was excellent, ambience was good, but was surprised that the Timber Room allowed sloppy dress (several fellows were walking around in flipflops and gym shorts and t shirts from just playing golf). Food was v good BUT a loooong wait for entres as kitchen could not keep up - were appeased with complimentary salads.

    Me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience for our 1 year anniversary. It was our first time at this restaurant and we will definitely be going back again. Food was amazing, service was great, and they accommodated our request for seating. Overall 10/10.
