   All I have to say is that the Miso grilled salmon with Asian soba noodle salad was DELICIOUS, best Salmon I've had since forever. Beautiful crispy miso caramelised skin and outer, soft as silk inside not over or under just perfect, flavoursome soba noodle salad with asian spices will go back again just for that dish. Every thing else great too, lovely staff, great location in heart of everything. I always enjoy some time out at Time Out 😀

   We seated on table 1 - next to the sliding door so it was kind of annoying. Also, not enough seating space. We had to sit side by side as the other side space of our table was occupied with the other people of the other table.

   The food was good, but expensive for the size of the meal - eg: steak. I ordered garlic bread and it was 2 pieces of toast bread with some garlic on it.

    The staff at Time Out were very welcoming and friendly. The fully air conditioned venue was very comfortable on a very hot Melbourne day. The food was fresh, tasty and delivered very promptly after ordering. The non alcoholic fruit drinks were very refreshing. Many thanks

    Thank-you for looking after our group. Time Out was easy to book for our group of 10. It was a friendly comfortable environment, and nice and cool on a very hot day. The food was nutritious and tasty and good portion sizes. The staff were attentive ant the meals arrived promptly. A very good lunch venue which is central to theatres and art galleries. Many thanks

    Chicken and Mushroom Penne, Chicken Parma were delicious. Ice Coffee and Pina Colada were stale. Outdoor ambience was good as perfect.

    We were running late for our booking due to traffic, attempted to phone twice to advise, no answer, left messages. Arrived and was advised they were jist about to cancel our booking as no shows. Understand it gets busy but worth checking messages when it dies down which it had by the time we arrived.

    Very high level of service, friendly atmosphere, staff were attentive to customer needs. Food is excellent, particularly the Timeout Benedict, a brilliant dish. Will definitely be returning and recommending this venue to friends and colleagues.

    Time Out was our go to all the time before covid but now too many changes have happened. Meal size has really gotten a lot smaller menu is very limited and the cost has gone up a lot it was OK but in future I’m going to find a new cafe

    We ate there out of convenience and the menu looked appealing. The table we had was jammed in against a group of boisterous women speaking loudly in a native tongue. One meal was reasonable (salmon). The other very salty and poorly presented (zucchini fritters with very salty feta cheese). After the plates were removed it took a long time for the waitress to come back and when she did asked if we had ordered our meals yet. We advised we wanted to see a dessert menu which was brought. There was no effort to social distance. We guarantee we will never consider eating there again.

    Online booking requesting quiet table for elderly mother, instead seated right at front door. Regular latte instead of mug delivered. Pumpkin pizza base was probably the best part as toppings were scarce & rocket on the turn. Staff aware dirty water slopped on mums cutlery & made no attempt to clean or apologise. Would say if there was more competition in fed square that was too pricey Time Out would have to lift their food quality & service.

    Took a chance as we're new in town and didn't know a lot about where to eat on Christmas Day. Time Out experience was salvaged by good food and a great little server. The turn offs were chaotic seating on wobbly tables. Toilet facilities turned out to be public restrooms next door that were flooded and filthy. Not very organized for a holiday dinner, but alas..... it was okay. Not great. Just okay.

    The food was fresh. Bread presented and baked beautifully. The calamari must have been caught that morning it tasted that fresh and the other entrees were great too. Main I had steak which was a bit fatty but cooked to my liking. My mates was perfect though. Desert was great and fresh again. Booze by the bottle was a bit expensive given the type of restaurant/Cafe.
