I love going to the Toby carvery at Eden Park I booked a table for Tuesday 29th may when I arrived the place had been closed since Saturday due to a fire was abit disappointed that I had booked and nobody had checked the booking list to email me to cancel. So I shall book again.

The guy on the front desk was excellent - a real asset to Toby Carvery! He is a mind reader as well as very personable! Everything else was very good too.

Excellent food and service as usual, we go there at least once a week with our 9 yr old granddaughter and have going since she was 1 excellent food and value for the money

Crowded because they were behind with bookings. Had to wait 20 mins. Had to leave food to get a waitress to take our drinks order as they were too busy preparing tables for next dinners! Carvery was not presented well and didn't look like care had gone into the preparation. Plates greasy and smeary. Had to wait on various foods as didn't replace as soon as run out. Didn't bother with dessert as nobody attended us and even though we'd finished nobody came to collect money so just paid on way out. Both my colleague and I felt a bitcquesy after and both said never again! Place looks like it could do with a good clean! Ps. Didn't want to give any stars but couldn't submit without giving stars but don't think they deserved any really!!

It seems that by booking with Open Table didn't sync with Toby's booking systems. The host was extremely rude and unsympathetic. It wasn't until we had to retrieve the email that she believed we had a confirmed booking. We had to wait another 45 minutes to be seated. If I book for Toby's again I will book direct.
