About this restaurant

  • Great for brunch
  • Kid-friendly
  • Neighbourhood gem
Here at Toby Carvery Grimsby, we believe there's only one way to do our beloved British roast – and that's properly. Every spud is checked by hand and ruffled for extra crunch. All of our meat is slow-cooked and basted to succulent perfection. And our Yorkshires are freshly made in our kitchens and served crisp, fluffy and piping-hot to your plate. That's what makes us the home of the roast.

Last time I visited. I wrote a very damning review, I was tempted back by a good offer. On this occasion all was well, there were more staff, even though the same day of the week, staff were friendly and attentive, a polar difference to my previous visit, maybe they had a bad day.

Order was wrong, was corrected or so I thought, but when i checked reciept I had been charged fir the wrong items too, unfirtunateliy I was at home by this time. I messaged customer services who passed this to grimsby toby, recieved a rude almost illiterate response from local manager. I wont bother again. There are better options for the money locally.
