    A little mix up when we first arrived was sorted quickly enough. Service was attentive and the barman crafted us some amazing cocktails. Then we spent hours playing games. Will be back and would recommend.

    Token was way too busy on a Friday night for us to have a good experience. We felt rushed at dinner as they only give you the table for 1.5 hours but service is very slow and we waited a really long time even for our drinks to arrive. We also had to queue for all the games and there was not enough locker space to leave our jackets, so overall it was pretty uncomfortable.

    Food was very tasty and good value. Unfortunately when it got to our table it was quite cold. We were downstairs. There was an overpowering smell of detergent which doesn't lend itself to a pleasant dining experience. Overall the evening was only fair and we probably won't be returning.

    Lunch menu is smaller than dinner menu and not what people were expecting after looking at the website before. Vegan hotdog was small without much about it, way overpriced for what you got. The herb fries and ketchup were yummy though. Others enjoyed the chicken tenders, vegetarian and non vegetarian burgers.

    Really solid venue, Great arcade games fill with nostalgia, a selection of beer and cocktails beyond belief (they'll even make some that aren't on the menu) and food that is really well thought out and absolutely delicious. I'm a regular and will continue to be

    I was disappointed with my token experience with no saving grace in my experience. I found the service to be rude and uninterested in taking orders for my table. We were left for 40min sitting waiting to order with not even an attempt to get us a drinks order while we waited. When we then got our food, my order was late as the server forgot to ring it in. When we then tried to pay, a server told us to work it out ourselves and left us standing in the middle of the place - we stood to pay as again, there was no assistance from a server to settle the bill. So rude! It was so hard to even catch a servers eye. Everyone was too busy being cool. I won't be returning.

    We brought my brother down from drogheda for his 21st birthday. He hasn't wanted a fuss or a party and I heard of token and thought he might like it. Food was top notch, staff were really friendly. Place itself is like nothing else I've seen in Ireland. Brilliant concept and very well executed. Games Are reasonably priced. It was really busy as it was a Saturday bit still not off putting. Couldn't fault it. Can't wait to go again.

    When we arrived it appeared they were not aware of our booking and told a one of my guests that we only had the table for an hour and half, this had not been said to me in my initial booking on Opentable nor when I contacted them later that day to confirm my booking. The Manager later in the evening came to me and accused me of adding people to our table and said that this was unacceptable, my booking was for 10 we actually had only 9, he was quite aggressive and theis was commented on by a number of my guests. I told him to go off and sort it out and to check his booking details. Later he came back to apologise and say that he was out of order. Whilst I appreciate his honesty it took the shine of an otherwise great get together.

    I'm frequent at Token - the food and whole place is incredible. However, going with a group of 5 people on a Thursday night, I was disappointed at the poor service. After our food came, we were waiting for ages whenever we ordered drinks, and it even took 10 minutes after asking two members of staff for the bill. We were also overcharged for a drink that we were told wasn't available. While I would still recommend Token, I was really, really disappointed at the meal taking 2 full hours, even though we only had a main meal.

    Fun restaurant with lovely food! We had 8 people so the allocated 1.5 hours for the table is too short. Luckily they were able to find a different table for the following group but we did feel a bit rushed.

    Atmosphere was great. Was impressed especially by the service and staff. Food was tasty and well priced. Games were great fun and one of the reasons we booked a table. Would recommend, especially if looking for something a bit different from the norm.

    Great energetic atmosphere, if a little loud when trying to chat over dinner. Food is very good indeed and the price point is spot on. On a previous visit the service was much more efficient, but the place was packed on my last visit so perhaps the long wait was inevitable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Menu is great with a good selection of vegetarian and some vegan dishes. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so we couldn't order churros for desert nor could we have coffee as the machine had been turned off. This was only at 10.30 pm. Despite this, I would highly recommend token, especially for gaming fans.

    I have been to TOKEN before but never for food. 3 of the members of our group had upset stomachs after the food. It is difficult to order a drink if people are permitted to stand at the bar beside the staff service areas.

    I went to token with a group of friends from work. There was a great food selection and even the picky eaters found something to eat. The dessert was FANTASTIC, gotta love the churros. The games were the highlight of the night, there was something for everyone and we all had a great time drink driving at mario kart :) The crowd control is an awesome feature as well, it stops the small area from becoming impossible to move in and stops a huge wait time to play the games. Would 100% recommend to a friend and will be definitely going back on date night

    The staff kindly accommodated my last minute request to move my reservation to a later time as my friends were running late. The food were delicious, somewhat in big portions and at reasonable price. We totally enjoyed the arcades. We will definitely be back.

    While it's very busy, the food is lovely, the drink is a bit over priced but considering you'll most likely only spend about 2 hours there it's ok,waiter wasn't overly friendly and instead of asking who's birthday it was, he just assumed it was the two guys with beards (they were told it was twins bday) it was not them, it was the two girls who looked exactly alike sitting across from them, gave us a good laugh but considering he was kinda meh service wise it did grate my nerves. Rest of staff lovely, place very clean and its got a buzzy atmosphere!

    Excellent staff, host on arrival very attentative, food was good, nothing out of this world but was v enjoyable and quirky “vegan calamari”. The calamari was the highlight of the meal. Great for group bookings. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options.

    Honestly, what an amazing place, had so much fun. My only issue would be that the waiting staff are super impatient, and we know we have an hour and a half there, don't need to be reminded every 10 minutes with a bit of an attitude. Put a bit of a dampener on an otherwise spectacular evening. Love that you have vegan options and the retro vibe!

    The service was honestly lovely and a great place for a Birthday, however just the bottom lounge area needs some form ventilation or air conditioner which would really freshen up everything and make it cozier.

    Good for a meetup with friends and for groups. The food comes in small but tasty potions, don't go hungry if with a group but good value.

    My friends and I were in Dublin for a concert and I happened to Google barcade in Dublin to see Token had opened this year. I was able to easily book a table for a few hours later for 6 and when I arrived we were seated quickly and told we had the table for 90 minutes, which thanks to the staff was more than enough time as they saw us quickly, with both food and drinks arriving not long after - both were also delicious. We were able hop on and off the table to play games, everyone was super friendly and helpful. After we settled the bill we hung out for over an hour playing the aracdes upstairs and pinball downstairs. The token system was also great value, we always had plenty to spread out between us.

    I love the entire concept! Fantastic time travel into childhood and that’s why I’ll most definitely will continue going there. Had a great time with friends the Saturday. Obviously it'll be busy since it’s a hotspot for retro game lovers. So be prepared to queue for most of the time or just browse around :) I was a bit disappointed when I saw the menu doesn’t have the same food like I’ve seen on the pics posted. Doesn’t mean food was not good but I was too much looking forward to having the food I’ve been seeing on the pics posted (massive burgers, fish and chip donuts, vegan chicken fillet etc), however, it was not served as the evening menu. So maybe next time.

    Such a unique & interesting dining experience. From the front door you can see that everyone (including the staff) are having fun & in a good humour which makes everything much nicer. It is quite loud but that is to be expected with the games all around you. The food & beer choice is fantastic and does not disappoint. Great vegetarian & vegan options too! Will 100% be back, maybe mid-week for more chance to get around to all the games :)

    We had a team building night out and had a blast. Plenty of competition playing the old arcade and pinball games. The food was very tasty although the portions small - you should get a side order! The beer list was decent with a rotating speciality tap that was pretty good.
