We have spent months researching where to source the best steaks from around the world and the results of that exploration is there is no better beef than Irish and we are proud to say that we serve only the market-best at Tomahawk.
Tomahawk has 80 delightful seats for you and your party to choose from. We have comfy corners matched with matte timber tables adorned with leather seats, where diners can enjoy their delicious meals under the ambient street lighting that pours in from above. Or you can choose to perch comfortably along the gorgeous timber dining bar set around our open kitchen and watch the theatre of a professional kitchen at work in front of you.

Tomahawk Ratings and Reviews
First time here. Will be back. Decor & ambience really nice & also comfortable. Tables not squashed together like a lot of other places. Staff excellent as was food. Had ravioli to start which was divine then fillet steak with mash & peppercorn sauce - couldn’t fault anything.. it is somewhat on the expensive is the only thing. Sides do not come with the steak which is unusual. So the main cost almost €40 which really is on the expensive side. So Only for special occasion.
It was our second time being here. The steak was as good as ever. The serving size for the sides are good. We loved the complimentary mini loaf of bread as appetizer. The servers are attentive and welcoming. The only disappointment I have is the lobster roll starter. I was expecting an actual sandwich with a good amount of meat in it. The reality was that it was 2 bite size pieces of bread with perhaps a teaspoon size of meat.
The starters, mains were exceptional. The service was pretty good but the liquor coffees were AWFUL. How hard is it to make a Baileys / Irish Coffee? Hardly any taste of the alcohol and one of the coffees was cold. We got 4 to the table and all of them were sub standard. Only 2 of them were removed from the bill and the waiter fobbed us off to the manager who conveniently had disappeared as were leaving.
Granted, you don't go to a steakhouse looking for good coffees but it' such a let down at the end if a meal that after getting everything else pretty much spot on something so simple WRONG at the end was disappointing.
Highly recommend the Delmonico cut - superb!
First time visit and will definitely be back. Food was fantastic and one of the best steaks I've ever had with tasty sides like the parmesan fries or baked potato. Only thing was the service here and there i.e. we weren't told about the specials and had to ask a few times for water glasses to be filled up but apart from that very friendly and welcoming. Suggest they hire more and keep the one server to a section, not 3/4 different people.
Just another Steakhouse! Or so I thought. The one thing I love is meat. And, boy, did this place deliver. Loved the selection tray. Our waitress showed us the different cuts and explained the choices for specific preferences. I'm a glutton and usually just go for the biggest baddest steak on the menu. But sometimes quality overrides quantity. And Tomahawk have both in abundance.
Had a beautiful Smoked House Sausage and Wild Mushroom Risotto to start. I went for the 14oz Delmonico for mains. It was cooked to perfection. Will definitely return to try the 30oz Tomahawk. On my own if I have to.
We went here for my birthday and I have to say the service and and the food was amazing. We had our 11 year old twin girls with us and they engaged with them and now they a pleading to come back for another steak there. The steaks themselves are excellent, well seasoned and do not suffer from that burnt taste that you can get in some places. Highly Recommended
We had the Tomahawk to share. While it was delicious, the portion was quite small for 2 people. It was poor value and I think getting 2 Delmonico steaks would have been better! Great ambience and comfortable sitting. Overall a great place for dinner and I would definitely visit again!
Overall a nice experience, the steaks are lovely, cooked to perfection, the parmesan chips are a lovely side. The only downside was the table we were seated at was like being in a corridor, it was stuck in the middle of the floor with people / staff continually passing by. We did request to be moved when a table became free, but was told it was reserved. We ended up sitting at the counter. I would go back, and make sure to request a better table .
The waitress immediately informed us that due to a large number of meat being ordered by other clients, we might expect delays in our order and therefore she suggested to have an appetiser before. It sounded pretty awkward since we just went to that place for meat and we did not want any appetiser...
Also one of the meat order was wrong and again the waitress suggested it was our fault because we pointed that steak with our finger (on the menu). However the meat quality is quite good although I would not feel that the price was justified for the quality (30€) for a sirloin. The side dishes were ok except the onion rings which were drenched with oil. Wine ok but expensive. Overall I would not come back, especially for the bad attitude of the waitress
Outstanding meat!!! I am a true meat lover and I can tell that they have a top notch quality there! I could only appreciate when the waitress came to the table with a display of all the meat pieces. It really adds something to the experience.
I was first disappointed not to have a proper steak knife but I soon realised that it was absolutely unnecessary: the meat was soft as butter! It was cooked to perfection and the side were all very tasty (maybe a bit fat but that's all).
Did not need an appetizer, did not need a dessert!
Next time I'll try that piece for 2, it looked very nice!
Oh, and the wine selection is quite good (this comes from a French man) with nice South American options and overall fair prices.
One last comment: they turned this basement in a really cosy and discreet place, which is enjoyable on an autumn evening.
