The waiter told us steak was off the menu but it was not.
Asked for medium rare steak, one was fine the other was overdone.
The place was empty and a family with three kids with a noisey mother was put at the table right beside us.
Overpriced.

The place is beautiful and very arty with a cool vibe. Music was fun and upbeat. The drinks were unique and delicious...try The Classic Pornstar and the Garden Martini looked like art tasted like Heaven. The food was perfect...had the Goat Cheese Salad and Tomato Soup for Starters. The Salmon for Dinner over cauliflower and potato dish that was perfection. Lemon Lime Cheesecake for Dessert...perfect ending. My daughters had the Steaks and loved them. Highly recommend!

Read review so decided to try. At first glance a little nervous. Looked more like a ultra modern night club and was very empty. Only 2 other tables full. But we were pleasantly surprised. Extensive drink menu. Drinks were good and prawn cocktail was surprisingly different. My salmon was done to perfection on bed of twice cooked mashed potato cakes and cauliflower with nice pesto hollandaise type sauce. Nice presentation. Monk fish with ratatouille and risotto was full of flavor. Both were beyond our expectations

The reason I would not recommend was due to the band. At dinner to hear my friends speaking we had to shout due to the noise level. We all left tribeton the minute we finished our dinner due to the shocking level of noise which completely ruined the atmosphere. The band playing were good- but the volume too high

They were very accommodating for our large group to celebrate my dads 70th. The design of the place is very cool and the staff were lovely. Everyone enjoyed their meal and that is difficult with a large group.
5 stars all round. Oh and also lovely cocktails! :)

The food was excellent and cooked beautifully. The service was wonderful and friendly. The restaurant itself is very trendy and is an excellent place to bring a partner, a friend or even the family for an exquisite dining experience. We attended on a quiet night but I believe the buzz on busier nights makes it all the more enjoyable. Will be back for more. Thanks

I highly recommend going to Tribeton. Delicious food. All the products were fresh and the dishes had a warmth of home- made food. The restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a large selection of wine, cocktails and beers which are pricy but worth sampling.

The food and drinks are AMAZING!!. I would definatley go again. They are a bit on the expensive side. My only flaw with them is that they DO NOT answer their phones. They do not get back to messages. Its a joke. I rang over the space of a month. Not once did they pick up or get back to any of the several messages I left. There's no excuse for that. Sorry!

Nice venue. Lovely staff. Food was only OK and for a premium price you would expect a premium product. I know your prices are in line with other restaurants in Galway but the food has to be better. The starter was lovely. Had steak for main. Was very bland and only accompanied by a few chips. Duck was over cooked.

The beef and cheese springs rolls were very plain, tasteless, not what I expected, like plain mince in spring roll pastry.
The fish cakes were lovely, very tasty and crispy.
Battered hake for main was nice, didn't like the peas with it and the really strong mint taste of off them.
Cocktails were excellent, as was the service!

Christmas set menu €35 for 2 courses and no alternative, although this was not notified in advance - no mention of a la carte option.

Steaks overcooked, no taste of garlic off garlic butter, some drink orders forgotten completely.

Friendly service and nice atmosphere but overall poor quality and overpriced

Nice setting with great service and food but felt the band took away from the whole experience and was unnecessary. Most people there weren't interested in the music and were there just there to socialise with friends. Some background music would have been preferred . Band may make sense after the normal dining has finished but not before.

Dining experience left a lot to hope for, I had come previously to this place for drinks and that's definitely worth doing, but was disappointed with the food itself.

My group ordered steaks and burgers, from which burgers were excellent, even thought not completely what was ordered but nevertheless excellent. Steaks were a bit overcooked than a medium should be when you pay 28e for it, but even more disappointing was the herb & garlic butter that we chose with the steak, which was completely tasteless, I wouldn't recommend anyone to order this. On top of this there was a bit of confusion regarding if the steaks actually included fries, as they only came after several minutes later than the steaks themselves.

Services itself was alright, our waitress was very quiet when she spoke, and this place has very loud music, they have a live band so it happens, but we did have difficulty hearing the waitress. When we asked for burgers to be with just cheese, waiter asked if all that is wanted was bread and cheese and she seemed genuinely confused, which was a bit of a funny moment, but could be that loud music wasn't helping either on this, anyway, it was explained that we just didn't want any salads on the burgers, and it seemed our waitress understood what we were asking for after further explanation, but when the burgers came, our request hadn't been relayed onward. That being said, she was very accommodating when it came to drinks, and double checked what beers they had available.
