About this restaurant

  • Great for craft beers
  • Kid-friendly
  • Good for groups
Located in the heart of downtown, our restaurant showcases high-quality New American cuisine, marking an exciting new chapter for this iconic establishment. In February 2026, we stepped in as new owners alongside a new chef and brewer, bringing fresh energy, creativity, and vision to the space.

Our revamped menu highlights elevated, flavor-forward dishes rooted in New American traditions, crafted with top-quality ingredients and designed to pair seamlessly with our expertly brewed, on-site beers.

Downtown Providence, steps from the Trinity Rep, The AMP Center, and the Convention Center.

Our beers, brewed on-site under the name Trinity Beer Co., are proudly crafted and distributed locally to retail shops, liquor stores, and restaurants. Our flagship brew, Downcity Haze, is a smooth and juicy Hazy IPA that captures the spirit of Providence in every sip. Our second new beer, PVD Lager, is light, crisp, and easy-drinking, with gentle earthy and floral notes from Saaz hops.

We were in the basement which had zero decoration or ambiance. And one waitress who was trying her best but she was the only waitress for the entire floor. Grossly understaffed and food was not even warm when it finally arrived. Food was fine. Beer was good but we had to go up to the bar for a second one since the service was so slow. Nothing gave us a reason to return.

Service and food was great. Initially had an issue with the table. There just wasn’t enough room to pull chairs out, but they were able to move us. I don’t think the hostess was happy about it 😬 It’s definitely a loud place, but it was fine. Food was great.

We had a great dinner at the Brewhouse. Since we were going to PPAC, we got half off an appetizer, great deal and wings. Caleb was great. Great lamb burger, fish & chips and a fish taco. Desserts were great too. Noise level was low considering how many people were there. We will be back

The refurbishment looks awesome. But more importantly, the food was fresh and portions were great. Served hot and in a well- paced manner. We had the Cedar Salmon and the Fish and Chips, starting with the nachos to share. And Selina is one of the best servers I've encountered in quite a while. Extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating.

Wonderful Wednesday evening with friends from Warwick. We were very impressed with the array of beers and the quality of the brews. Everyone enjoyed their meals (chicken and waffles, burger, dry rub wings). Super friendly service by Aimee.

Had an amazing time getting lunch before taking the kids to a P-Bruins game. The staff was able to accommodate our party of 8 and we were promptly served our drinks and food in a timely manner. The food was delicious and the beverages were thoroughly enjoyable as well. Our server was attentive and interacted well with both of the children we had with us. Overall we had an amazing experience and we’ll definitely be returning.

Food and service were very good. A little pricey but good. Place was very noisy. There was a group of families with kids and the kids were screaming and yelling and the parents just let it happen. Once they left it got a little quieter but they need some acoustic panels. We requested a table in the bar area on open tables and were told through an email that we would have one. We like the bar area because it is usually all adults. There were tables in the bar but they said oh no we are sitting you on the dining room side. Very disappointed that they sat us in the dining room
