At the Twin Oaks we're a neighborhood restaurant, bar & terrace that focuses on using the very best of local Irish produce. We change our A La Carte menu seasonally and change our specials weekly in line with the freshest seafood coming off the boats nearby and the freshest veg that's coming into season in Dublin.

We have a 3 course Residence Menu available all night on Wednesdays & Thursdays and from 5pm - 7pm on Fridays for €30 with a glass of house wine which gives a fantastic intro to the food we love! Expect to find a changing Arancini of the Week, Fresh Fish of the Day Specials, Homemade Desserts and more.

We're located right beside the Phoenix Park (the perfect spot for a pre or post dinner stroll!) and we
serve the best of modern Irish & European cuisine - alongside craft cocktails, a large variety of wines and local beers on tap.

    Had the Sunday roast, beef was gorgeous as were vegetables. Roast potatoes were undercooked and Yorkshire pudding was stone cold and spongy . Had to ask for more gravy as very little in the plate. For the price, would expect superb, but this was not, apart from beef which was v good.

    The food and service was very good. We dined from the Residence menu which is good value and includes a glass of house wine. The music was not my taste but apart from that it was a very enjoyable experience. Would definitely return.

    There were three of us and the table was nice and big. The starters were nice but mine was a bit small but ok. I had the main course Chicken and that was nice and well presented but with a lot of peas which I was unable to finish. I had french fries and was glad as there was not much apart from peas with the chicken. I had ice cream and jelly for desert and the ice cream was lovely but the jelly was supposed to be orange flavour but it was green and a most peculiar taste. We had the red merlot wine and that was really good. The service was really good and the staff were busy but coped very well. We will certainly return as it was also very good value.

    Super friendly staff, the starters got mixed up and they were so quick to remedy the situation that it really wasn’t a bother. Helped with suggestions on cocktails and were attentive in general. The portion sizes were great. The goats cheese bonbons and the prawns with lemon and chilli were particularly nice. Decent selection of wines too. Will be back to try the rest of the menu!

    Sumptuous food from Residence Menu. Didn't look like huge portions but they were definitely enough. Cocktails gorgeous & well presented. Staff lovely & not overbearing. Definitely going back.

    We went to celebrate Father’s Day and we had a fabulous meal. Kids had burger which was delicious and also sirloin also fabulous. We had chicken supreme which had lots of lovely flavours going on. Also I had pea/mint soup for starter and it was super. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant and the staff were very polite, helpful and professional. Would highly recommend and definitely will be back👍 Emer, Clonsilla.

    Fabulous food in a very nice location. Suitable for all age groups. Due to unforseen circumstances we were running late so I phoned the restaurant and they very kindly slotted us in at a later time even though it was Father's Day and they were very busy. Twin Oaks will definitely be a regular spot to dine.

    We visited on a Saturday night, it wasn’t overly busy, a nice buzz to the room. We were shown to our table straight away and my husband ordered a pint of Guinness. The waitress returned with the menus. We waited awhile and our order was taken. Eventually he asked again about the Guinness and was told it was ready at the bar. When it came it had obviously been sitting there for some time. Apart from that everything was fine, the food was very good and I would definitely go back.

    We had Sunday lunch here and the food was excellent and good value for money. Place was quiet and I can't understand why more people haven't discovered this great gastro pub in the heart of Castleknock. Well worth a visit.

    we arrived early for our table, and had 2 fantastic cocktails before ordering our dinner. we both had the beef...it came with a small piece of brisket which was the nicest i had ever tasted. the host and server were both extremely pleasant. the menu is a bit limited but there really is something for everyone.... we had wine and dessert both of which were 5 star ..thank you all

    Really dissapointed we booked for Sunday Brunch and when we arrived the menu was really limited with 4 x starter & main options. When I asked about the menu I was told it had changed a week ago that brunch finishes at 12:50! This is not stated anywhere on the website or social pages, the restaurant was empty and we ended up leaving before ordering!

    Fairly average. The menu for Sunday dinner was quite limiting - so few options and not chicken main. Also quite overpriced - 21.50 for a plate of roasted cauliflower!

    My sister and I had a very pleasant dinner in Twin Oaks . We booked for 6.30 pm so there was just one table occupied when we arrived but it got busy from about 7.00 onwards. My sister had mussels to start and was very happy with them, the portion was quite large but the mussels were on the small side so it balanced out. I had the vegetable soup, it came with two big slices of brown bread so quite filling too. The mains were sea trout for her and char grilled chicken kiev for me. Both came with gratin potatoes and vegetable, everything was cooked to perfection. I was surprised by the chicken kiev as it is not the standard garlic butter filled version so don't expect that. We had a nice bottle of wine and the service was good. I would eat here again.

    Twin Oaks is bright, open and very comfortable and has a very relaxed vibe. The staff are friendly and professional. The food is excellent, the nicest Brunch we'd had in a long time. Worth a visit. We will be back!

    Very happy with this local restaurant. My partner got the scotch egg starter and a lamb shank that was falling off the bone. My monkfish pasta dish was a little heavy on the sauce, but otherwise hit the spot. Bread and butter pudding for dessert was super. Service was a tad on the slow side once or twice, but overall felt very hospitable and really appreciated the extra effort shown to make our toddler feel welcome and, crucially, entertained. Would have really liked a few more wines by the glass, especially sparkling!

    Took a trip with my mam for Mother’s Day and the staff could not have been friendlier! Really quick service, very tasty food, highly recommend a roast! Great cocktails too, perfect for a quiet Sunday lunch
