Ukiyo is a modern East Asian restaurant and late night cocktail bar in the heart of Dublin 2. Featuring a full bar and outdoor terrace, with DJs and music at the weekend it is the perfect spot for meeting a date or getting together with friends. Drinks only bookings after 10pm at weekends.

We try to keep our vegetable and fruit purchases local and seasonal. Our Black Angus beef is certified biodynamic, supplied by Trevor Harris in Kildare. All our fish supplied by Kishfish is organically farmed and our pork is from Crowe’s Farm in Tipperary.

Enjoy sushi and express bento boxes for lunch or dinner, signature cocktails, sake and late night lounge vibes.

Corporate and private parties catered in our lounge which opens late, with own door /fully accessible Lounge, DJ booth and outdoor heated seating area.

    Without a doubt - the BEST place in Dublin to eat, drink and be merry - Japan style! Amazing food and superb service (special shout out to Adam who wins the prize as the most attentive server in Ireland). We booked the private karaoke room for a special family celebration for €500. This sounds expensive, but when you consider the excellent food and spectacular service for up to 10 people for three hours, this room has all you need - disco lights, brilliant tracks, great singing (of course!) and a mini dance floor. We had an absolute blast - thank you Adam and the talented team at Ukiyo - we'll be back!

    Shocking! Never go here. Sat for 20 mins and serving staff avoided eye contact. Didn’t even take drink orders. Walked out and all that was offered was a free drink to make up after the fact it was pointed out about what had happened. The waitress “presumed” someone else had taken our drinks order even tho she was the only one on the floor. Not the first time I’ve been here with disappointing service. Will never return, would never recommend

    Very nice location and interior with a lovely menu. Alot of fish related items though. 2 Crackheads were outside the restaurant unfortunately doing drugs near the windows view but they were thankfully ushered away by staff.

    Amazing restaurant and service! Came here two years ago on a first date and just celebrated our two year anniversary there yesterday and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Always recommend Ukiyo to friends for amazing sushi.

    Always enjoy coming here, staff friendly and food is amazing. The sushi is some of the best I’ve eaten and cocktails are great! Our little boy loves the Korean Fried Chicken and the vanilla ice cream the most.

    Brilliant! Food amazing, staff incredibly nice. The palace is lovely. I just can't fault it. It's not the cheapest but gladly paid the mark for the fabulous experience.

    Great spot for a group who like to share food. Very reasonably priced and awesome selection of tasty treats. Cauliflower bites are a must! Staff are friendly and helpful. Sushi is unusual and delicious.

    Food was excellent and staff helpful. The evening was, however, ruined by EXTREMELY and unbearably loud music. None of us could hear each other and several members of our party were quite distressed. We early on gave up our requests for it to be turned down as we felt like we were "harassing" staff. What a pity because we love/d Ukiyo and this was an 18th birthday celebration.

    The food was really nice and well presented, but the service was not good at all. They did not know their menu and one of the waiters look really tired, each time that came to our table he was sighing, which was not professional at all and left us with a really bad feeling...

    The service is great and the place itself is very comfortable. The problem is that the food isn’t great in the sense of consistency across all dishes. Some dishes are really good other are very meh towards being bad and it is not cheap.

    The food is great! Very nice staff, great cocktails and good price-quality. The ladies restroom was not very neat, which we mentioned multiple times throughout the night.
