Ukiyo is a modern East Asian restaurant and late night cocktail bar in the heart of Dublin 2. Featuring a full bar and outdoor terrace, with DJs and music at the weekend it is the perfect spot for meeting a date or getting together with friends. Drinks only bookings after 10pm at weekends.

We try to keep our vegetable and fruit purchases local and seasonal. Our Black Angus beef is certified biodynamic, supplied by Trevor Harris in Kildare. All our fish supplied by Kishfish is organically farmed and our pork is from Crowe’s Farm in Tipperary.

Enjoy sushi and express bento boxes for lunch or dinner, signature cocktails, sake and late night lounge vibes.

Food was excellent and staff helpful. The evening was, however, ruined by EXTREMELY and unbearably loud music. None of us could hear each other and several members of our party were quite distressed. We early on gave up our requests for it to be turned down as we felt like we were "harassing" staff. What a pity because we love/d Ukiyo and this was an 18th birthday celebration.

The food was really nice and well presented, but the service was not good at all. They did not know their menu and one of the waiters look really tired, each time that came to our table he was sighing, which was not professional at all and left us with a really bad feeling...

It was so lovely to bring my daughter and her pals here to celebrate her 10th birthday with Karaoke and delicious Japanese food. The staff made a great fuss of the kids it was super. Thank you Team Ukiyo

We are a family of 11, and out to celebrate my sons 18th birthday. We rarely get together as we have very busy lives so it was very special and important to us. Our order for drinks were taken at about 9pm but we never got a drink for over an hr, our food came at scattered times after that, so some of us ate alone while others waited for their food. It was a disaster. I found it took the fun out of our evening, very disappointed. Never again.

Went here for dinner. Sushi was good, but a bit basic. Ordered a cocktail which was way too strong, they took it off the bill so that was nice. We wanted to order more food, but without any notice the kitchen suddenly was already closed.

I was expecting the same quality as usual, visiting Ukiyo for years but haven't been in a while. I got pork bao buns which were discrete and california roll, dry without any taste of crab meat. Price wise also between €12-€14. Maybe it was just my impression but overall not impressed.

We found the service very bad. We were sitting down 40 minutes before we had to call over the waiter and ask her to take our order. The place wasn't busy at all just a lack of attention. She did seem to improve as the night went on but we found ourselves always trying to get the waiters attention to order a drink or ask for something. The food was fantastic so would still return.

Lovely place, staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the main course Kastsu Curry arrived cold and congealed, and the prawns weren’t de-veined, which didn’t bother us but might bother others. Pork Baos and Korean Fried Chicken were lovely, shame about the curry.
