   Steak was overcooked and at 55 dollars should never be an issue. Asparagus was very underwhelming and small portioned at 12 dollars.

   Disappointed with quality of food and service. To compete in the high quality and expensive restaurant genre Jack’s has to step up fast or have an untimely demise. Very unfortunate. Not the first time the experience has occurred

   mother’s day brunch $80/person! lobster, no butter, shrimp dry and somewhat tough. Prime Rib was good but that was really about it. There was a woman working the bar who was super nice and helped make the experience a little brighter. I hope their regular menu is much better and more reasonably priced. This was not a great first impression. The staff overall was friendly so that was a definite plus.

   The hostesses and most of the wait staff were inattentive and some were downright rude, although the gentlemen serving the food on the buffet were friendly and accommodating. The drinks we ordered were awful, my husband had the worst Bloody Mary I’ve ever tasted. The food on the buffet was so overcooked and dried out. It tasted like it had been sitting out for hours, if not overnight, and we were there at noon. I can’t believe we paid that much for such poor service and food quality. It’s such a lovely restaurant, it’s really a shame!

   We went for Mother’s Day brunch. The food was awful. Eggs had no flavor. Prime rib had no flavor. The biscuits were dry and dense. No butter or jam was offered. The shrimp was tough. No fruit was on the buffet. We were charged $75 per person plus 20% mandatory gratuity. I am serving myself and I have to pay a 20% gratuity. Service was non existent. We also ordered bloody Mary’s and they were served with no lime or lemon or celery, just vodka and not good Bloody Mary mix. I definitely do not recommend.

    Many weeks ago, we booked an 11am reservation for 5 to celebrate Mother's Day with my wife and 3 children. Last week, we received a confirming call for our 11am reservation. We arrived on Mother's Day with dressed up children in tow at 11am only to be told there were no tables available and we could find a place to sit and wait. We were not offered anything to drink or any follow-up from the hostess. Upon checking in twice, we first established that the hostess would text us when a table was available. After 45 minutes of waiting without an update or text, we again inquired at the hostess stand who told us the system showed us as checked in and seated. All along, there were many unoccupied tables that could have accommodated our reservation. When a party of 6 with no reservation showed up and was seated ahead of us, we left and took our family home without dining and with no where else to go on Mother's Day.

    We always love coming to uncle jacks! Food is amazing, great location, fun ambiance. We were there tonight for a birthday dinner and Kajuana took great care of us. We can’t wait to come back!

    We had a problem with a previous visit and they gave us a $20 gift card, so we decided to try again. Never again. The restaurant was not that crowded and still had very poor service. We were seated in the bar area, ordered drinks, and 25 minutes later the bartender still had not made our drinks even though he was not busy and was chatting with servers. We finally canceled drinks. Hard to get water soda and water refills, check, etc. Food was acceptable, but not good enough to overcome terrible service. Definitely will not go again.

    Really slow service-actually had to go to the bar to get my own drink. Probably wasn’t the servers fault as it appeared she had way too many tables. Way way overpriced for the food; and I also believe some of the prices were raised above the menu prices. On top of that they charge a service fee for using a card.

    Good food, nice ambiance, excruciatingly slow service. We made a reservation, arrived on time, seated within 10 minutes. We may have been acknowledged about 1/2 hour after our reservation. Our first drink wasn’t at the table until almost a half hour later! The restaurant (outdoors, anyway) was far from full. The waiter was incredibly polite and apologetic and blamed the wait on a large group inside. There were plenty of hostess/wait staff for the number of customers, but the kitchen and bar were apparently way understaffed. The food orders were accurate, hot and good but nothing extraordinary. We had a plan to walk down canton street and get another drink somewhere else, but we were stuck so long at Uncle Jacks there was no time left to explore elsewhere. For the price, the experience overall is not one we care to repeat. Hope they can hire some more staff to better serve the customers.

    Terrible service. Got ignored by the waitstaff despite being one of the only tables inside. Servers were rolling silverware at the table beside us and laughing with the bartender rather than taking our order. We will not be back. They are rude and understaffed.

    Wanted to try a new steakhouse so made a reservation on a Saturday night. Restaurant has a nice vibe and we chose to eat inside at the bar area booth. Started off with the bacon and cheese popper. We thought both were excellent Bacon an peanut butter actually worked. Off to a good start. Ordered a ribeye medium with corn-gasm dish and my wife ordered the steak sandwich with no horseradish sauce. This is where the wheels came off the bus. My steak comes out and it’s super thin and cooked well done and there was zero gasm with the corn. In addition, my wife’s steak sandwich has, you guessed it, horseradish sauce. Waitress takes food back and we wait. When new food comes back out, my steak is raw and has to be cooked up. The new steak sandwich comes out with horseradish sauce. By the time my steak comes out I am not hungry, so I eat a few bites and cut the rest up for my dog. No manager visit or apology from staff. Waitress then takes my credit card and when she returns with the processed bill I notice that they charged 57 dollars for my steak that was 44.00 on the menu and 10 dollars for a side that was 9.00 on the menu. Huh? I grabbed the manager who was getting an earful from another disappointed patron and shard my experience and concerns about price difference. He stated that computer was updated before the menu. So they knew, just didn’t mention to customers. They redid my check and fixed the price, but I spent 111.00 for this experience. I understand that bad experiences happen, but the staff and restaurant did nothing to try and salvage my future business. Bad business decision. It’s no coincidence that the bar and inside dining rooms were mostly empty when we left at 7:30.

    Easter brunch buffet. Food was okay, way over priced for the food selection they offered. Omelet station was subpar only options to add to an omelet were onions, peppers, mushroom and cheese. Prime rib was good. They also had shrimp and raw oysters. Cold potato’s and scrambled eggs. Dessert were less than desirable. Over $550 for 5 people, could have gone to a high end steak house.

    While our server was very personable, it just seemed like an off night for everything. It began with a slopped martini on the table that was never dried up - and no cocktail napkin. Dirty dishes left on the table, salad was missing the Parmesan and when asked for it, it took two trips to the kitchen, never was offered pepper for the salad. It was just off. Everything. Yeah, this was our me first visit and we won’t come back. There are too many other better restaurants locally to come back. Sorry.

    I am never disappointed at Uncle Jack's on Canton Street. This was the first time I had brunch there. It was fantastic with so many great choices. Of course our favorite the Bacon!!

    Honestly it was one of the most horrible dining experiences I’ve had in downtown Roswell. As far as location with the big lawn outside with the lights in the spring weather -it was gorgeous. Cocktails on the lawn would be nice! But the food service was horrible. Food came out wrong twice and we just gave up at ate what we received. I may return for drinks with friends but I doubt I will ever dine at Uncle Jacks again.

    Hostess acted extremely non interested….our waiter was literally running between tables, we had to ask for plates and silverware. Food was adequate, Brussels sprout side- don’t order. We spent $200 and we’re charged a FEE for using a credit card- deal breaker…….won’t be back or recommend.

    I invited 2 other couples to join us. Cocktails, bacon appetizer, and entrees. I believe everyone enjoyed the place and server Brandon was excellent. I had the short ribs over pasta. Plenty of sauce, excellent pasta; but the meat had been pulled and shredded from the rib bones and placed on top of the pasta. It was very stringy and tough. It appeared to me it had sat under a heat lamp way too long.

    Uncle Jacks has lost its way. It used to be very good and was always requested by my kids - especially for the truffle mac n cheese. The last few times have been average to poor across the board. The food over / undercooked and way over seasoned or outright bland. The servers are very nice but very slow. The Roswell location has a nice, laid back, neighborhood vibe. With a huge lawn with fire pits where one can enjoy cocktails or wine. Pull the kitchen back into line a make this place a favorite again.
