Urban Brewing - Stack A Restaurant
Great service and range of craft beers. Food is good too! Nice ambience with loads of space.
The ambiance is lovely! Dinner is fine! The beers were very expencive. The service was a bit to quick, when you just emptied your plate it was gone, this made us want to hurry. But overall a great experiance! Would recommand this to other people.
The overall experience was very good, however I thought either the price could be improved or the substance of the food provided could be increased. (ie bread with starters or sides with the mains)
Very cool venue with awesome menu options. Service was great as well.
Far exceeded my expectations. Asked for a quite table on the booking as lunch was a business meeting. Thank you for helping the meeting go great 😄
Ambience: we had a 6pm booking ....five hours later we were still there, fantastic comfortable setting
Food: Second time here and the food was sensational. Hake was melt in the mouth, textures, flavours, presentation all fantastic
Service: To quote one of the members of our party “the waiter is so lovely I kind of want to ask him to sit down and have the chats with us”. Extremely welcoming, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of food and drink.
Unbedingt zu empfehlen. Sehr romantisches Ambiente. Sehr leckeres Essen. Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Riesen Bierauswahl. Eigenes Bier, Stout sehr sehr gut.
Had the st Patrick’s day tasters menu and it was spectacular. Also had it with the beer pairing, wasn’t a fan of one of the beers and they swapped the beer out at no additional charge. I can’t recommend the meal enough the chefs there know what they are doing.
Food was tast, overpriced and mean. Scallops for €13 was actually a single scallop. When they brought the starters we were looking for the rest of the dish to arrive! €27 lamb doesn’t include potatoes or vegetables. The food was well cooked, and tasty but too little of it, far too expensive and too many hidden extras. Dinner for four was over €300 but we were still charged €3.50 for bread. The staff were efficient and officious - no smiling, no personality or banter. Every question was answered with a poker face and we felt rushed to order. To be fair, we shared our feedback about the price and portions at the time and were offered a round of drinks which was appreciated. We won’t be back. If they keep taking advantage of their customers no one else will either! It was pretty quiet even though it was Saturday on a bank holiday.
Nice menu - something for everyone. Friendly service, nice vibe and prices reasonable
Expensive for what we had but very tasty. Beautiful location
Hands down best food I’ve ever had. The chefs are amazingly talented, I can’t rave about it enough. We are still telling everyone to go here. You go in for the atmosphere, I mean the place is very cool to be in a vault underground but then the food blows you out of the water. Cannot wait to come back again and again every time we are in Dublin.
Very atmospheric and welcoming, with knowledgeable, cheerful and friendly staff. Excellent selection of fantastic beers. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and seasoned and one of the best chicken dishes I have tasted for years.
Such a fantastic night:) Loved the food, ambiance and atmosphere. We'll be back!!
They had a great deal for valentines and the food wash delicious.
We were very disappointed with our recent lunch order. We ordered two burgers which were served rare, from a food safety perspective all minced meat products ie burgers should be thoroughly cooked, this was not the case & is a danger to human health. Unfortunately not cooking burgers thoroughly puts you at risk of Ingesting bacteria like E- coil or enterococcus. This could be fatal!!!
Ate here with work colleagues and my girlfriend in the same trip and it was brilliant both times. Food is amazing and the cellar downstairs creates and amazing place to enjoy an evening! Will be back again if I’m ever in Dublin.
Cool setting, nice beer and tasty food!
Lovely food and I love the vaults. Service was good
I've been trying to get a reservation here for around a year and was happy when finally I found a few spare tables the first week of January! I was drawn to the beautiful interiors and lighting that promised a special night. The food here was divine, I had the 'double beef' main option and beeramisu for dessert. My partner had the beef as well + the plums in filo pastry for dessert. I was very impressed by everything, each mouthful was a journey and discovery. I was hoping to get a little bit more of a marzipan and plum taste out of the 2nd dessert, the beeramisu def. was a winner here. The waitress for very friendly though I don't like being asked if I want to tip (because the machine asks this, apparently). She was very friendly and nonchalant about it though which made the whole thing easier (and we did tip, in cash ;). TO MANAGEMENT: if you want to mirror the upscale and fancy ways of the south Dublin restaurants, you should look into providing some sort of bread and olive oil while your guests are waiting for their food. This was def. missing and an unnecessary pitfall.
Really disappointing. Food was tasteless and staff mixed up our orders. Such a disappointing night. Will never come back.
The craft beer list is amazing and the staff are very knowledgeable. Food also terrific, it got very busy as the evening went on, likely as we went so close to Christmas. Definitely somewhere to go back to on a calm quiet afternoon where that craft bible can be properly explored.
Very tasty food - I had the Beef Bourguignon which was full of flavour. Also shared a generous cheese plate. Served by a very friendly waiter from Montpellier who gave great wine recommendation.
Loved the place but i thought 30e for the venision was a bit much when there is very little on the plate. For that price maybe a side come with it. But it was lovely otherwise.
This is an exciting and modern restaurant serving food in very inventive ways. Early bird represents great value for money and overall this is a great choice, both for couples and for group dining. I will be back!
My boyfriend and I had dinner here and we had such a good night. It was a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and I asked in advance if they could possibly do something special. They definitely pulled through and brought out his dessert with a lovely happy birthday message on the plate and a candle. They made us feel very welcome, service was great and very attentive. It had great ambience with a variety of foods to choose from and also a very extensive wine list although a little pricey. The starters were on the small side however the main and dessert were a perfect size and we were extremely satisfied by the end of our meal.
Fantastic Irish food with a Spanish twist in an incredible historic building.
Very pleased that there was a vegan meal option on the menu (that also happened to be delicious, and not mushroom based or soaked in oil like most vegan dishes around Dublin).
Great food and cocktails in a very unique setting. The food quality was outstanding, like what you would find in one of the greatest restaurants in New York City, and it was very reasonably priced.
I would definitely recommend it.
Met friends for lunch, good service, great selection on menu as well as daily specials. Food arrived quickly and delicious as ever.
The staff were so lovely and accommodating, they made my colleague's work anniversary lunch so special. Thank you so much.
this is a super cool place. There is a bar upstairs but the real gem is downstairs in the basement. A real food and beer lovers find! A truly huge selection of fantastic specialist beers, a great ambience, a really knowledgable staff - such a fun evening
Lovely dinner at Urban Brewing. So pleased I chose this place. Friendly staff, spacious (if dark) restaurant - I liked the decor very much. Super food - beautifully presented. The menu is smallish but everything was lovely. Could have done with a better dessert selection and maybe some bread with dinner but otherwise no quibbles. Would definitely come here again.
Great selection of cocktails and beers.
booked for 8 people mid week, great ambiance in the vaults. We arrived at 7.30, had some wine (great wine a and beer list - ask for the sommelier) chatted and then about 8.45 the server came to ask for our food orders.
There is a tapas menus and dinner menu but they are served in one end of the vaults or the other and you cannot mix and match from the 2 menus as the kitchens are different. Can't understand why this is an issue, but it is.
I wanted the 2 of the big 42 oz steaks to share between 4 people but then the server told us it was too late as the kitchen closed at 9.30 and they could not cook it in time. We all felt the server should have said this to us as we sat having drinks or come to ask for our order earlier if this was the case, very unprofessional.
The server forgot to bring some drinks (she had not entered them into the order machine) and it was just very hard to get her attention all during our meal as we ran out of wine - and this was on a quiet evening.
In the middle of dinner our server asked if we wanted desert as the desert chef was leaving! So again because of her not telling us to order earlier, our dinner felt rushed.
The food was excellent as was the wine but overall we felt we had to work hard to get our server to look after us and felt rushed when there was no need for this.
Good food, terrible service.
Lovely setting, excellent food. Nice home brew selections.
The perfect place to drink good Beer paired with excellent food.
Unbelievably quiet on a Saturday night - should have been a warning sign. The food was pretentious and overpriced for the quality and amount of food. The staff were inexperienced and it seemed as if it were the waitress's first time taking an order.
The food food was decent, but extremely overpriced, especially considering how tiny the portions were. I couldn't believe my duck entree was a duck breast the size of my index and middle fingers. The space of the restaurant was lovely.
I'd go back there for drinks, but would absolutely not return for food. At the price point of 25 euro an entree, the food should be superb. They failed to meet the mark.
Good food, below average service. Forgot to bring salt, pepper, ketchup even thought the waiter(s) were asked 3 times.
Beautiful setting and very good service, but the food needs work. Starters were very good but all mains were far too salty, and one inedible as a result. Early days for this restaurant so hope the kitchen reaches the standard of front of house in due course.
Delicious inventive food and really nice relaxing atmosphere
