Urban Brewing – Taps + Tapas
Really delicious food and unreal setting with the vaults! The staff were super friendly and helpful too! Can't wait to come back again!
Nice relaxed atmosphere staff very friendly, great for quick snack or long chats
Not going to bash an establishment over one poor service but went Sunday afternoon when it was relatively quiet and the waiter just seemed like he wasn’t interested in being at work, we asked for a side dip of truffle mayo and we had to remind him 3 times as he had forgotten and in the end another colleague of his had to get it for us, we then asked for dessert menus and we had to ask twice and took over 15mins to get them, again same waiter, I ordered dessert and when I received my dessert I had no cutlery so I waited patiently, in the end I’m guessing the floor manager had to get me a spoon for my beeramisu which was fantastic likewise with the rest of our food, but what topped it for me was when the bill came, I was paying by card and when I decided to not leave a tip which I rarely do, the waiter replies ‘oh, ok then!’ He just seemed surprised that even though it was clear we weren’t having the greatest of service, he reckoned he deserved a tip?? Now as I said I won’t bash an establishment for a single poor sitting, I’ve been here multiple times with my friends or my other half and we’ve had unbelievable service and as always the foods impeccable. I just won’t ask for him to wait our table if he happens to be working at said given time
Fantastic experience, food delicious, drinks selection stunning, service was superb (Jessica!) and atmosphere was awesome. Definitely a new favourite for us! Really fun for groups.
This was our first time at Urban Brewery and it was lovely, great atmosphere and space to have lunch in, with a bonus of the rugby being played (but wasn’t too intrusive).
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and let us have a look around as we were planning an event and thought this place would be ideal. Would recommend it to anyone for food or a casual drink and will definitely return
Great location for afterwork drinks and food. Reasonably priced and good portions.
Food is great, have been there twice before but the service was a real let down. Found the staff to be pushy and rude.
New Year’s Eve
a great fun location. Food is great and also interesting. Wine selection was good and the beer selection exceptional. Truly exceptional! We had great fun, and the only slight downside is that it can be a bit more pricey than expected
Was louder and busier than expected. Food, drink and service was excellent.
Went here with my husband on a date. The beer menu is extensive, the food is delicious and the staff were very attentive. I would definitely go back again.
Went with a group of friends in advance of a concert in the 3 arena. The service was good and the food arrived promptly. The food was all in all delicious! The soft shell crab, prawns and the sweet potatoes deserve a special mention! Would definitely revisit!
Great spot for a business meal. Food and drinks both outstanding.
This place is excellent all round, the food, ambiance, cocktails and overall atmosphere. The outdoor smoking area is warm and cozy, we had a fab night.
Excellent service, server was knowledgeable about food and beer, gave great recommendations. Food was excellent .
We booked upstairs and upon arrival were told there was no space for us and were brought downstairs where there was a really noisy party on. We had to leave and try and find somewhere else to accommodate us.
Surprisingly fabulous food - can't wait to go back. Great atmosphere and good service too.
Excellent Service and fabulous food. Tapas were tasty and great way to spend evening with friends. The vaulted stone basement building is stunning.
Fantastic staff and ambiance, especially on the lower level.
On Sunday the restaurant is not open below in the vaults, but full menu is available in the bar or outside...which was great. Same great food, beverages and service. Our third time to visit on our stay in Dublin. Seems to be mostly locals and not over run by rowdy tourists. Beer quality and variety second to none!
I went here with my partner after seeing the bar on instagram. There is a tapas bar upstairs and a more formal restaurant in the cellar. We ate in the tapas bar upstairs and it was great! We got six dishes a couple of beers and a cocktail. The food was great and the drinks were excellent. The ambience is nice and relaxed with some background music that is not too loud and you are able to hold a conversation really well. The choice of music is also great and suits the bar.
It was on the pricey side, but the presentation and the quality of the place was definitely worth it! We'll definitely be going back again to try more of the menu and the restaurant in the cellar.
We truly enjoyed our 1st visit to your wonderful establishment last Saturday. It was a special occasion for us & to our surprise & delight this was remembered & acknowledged by your lovely staff. It was my husband's first time having Tapas & he loved it and the waiter was ectremely helpful in offering advice & suggestions & they were great choices that we made. The standard of each & every dish that came out was as my husband said 'ridiculously good'!! We haven't stopped talking about it & will definitely be back. Thank you!!
The venue is fantastic in the old Dublin vaults. Food was excellent good choices. Big wine list and even bigger beer list. So good we went back the next night. Don’t let the raucous bar turn you off the down stairs is fantastic
Great place, lively and fun, delicious food would recommend to friends and Work parties
Great beer selection and good food. Particularly liked the chilli garlic prawns and the beef cheek.
We have been here several times and they are always out of several of their own beers. There are plenty of beers to choose from on their list but why have brewing in your name if you never have the beers
Service was slow unfortunately both times I visited. Each time I visited, it wasn't too busy so unfortunately it can't be blamed on that. I asked for condiments twice that weren't delivered.
A pity because this place has all the right ingredients to be a hit. Hopefully, service improves!
Great place, beautiful design with a great selection of beers, wines and cocktails.
I've been here a lot recently with different friends as it is near my apartment and the best place in the area (4 times in the past week or so).
The only thing that bothered me was the music- it was very good the first time, but every evening it repeated exactly the same playlist and even part of the tracks in the playlist were playing on repeat. Hopefully the music will be more diverse in the future and I will be able to come back and enjoy the atmosphere.
Top place for great food and the largest beer menu ever!!! Excellent service too, a bit of a walk from centre of Dublin but well worth the 15 min stroll.
No dinner served on Sundays but the tapas were still delicious.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff made the visit very enjoyable. Great coffee and food, will definitely be back
Vault underground was a very nice setting but the noise level was very high, even with the rooms fairly empty. Food was average. Service was understaffed so slow. There are no bus boys to remove plates.
Pre-concert food for my friends 40th birthday. Perfect location for 3 arena and absolutely gorgeous food. Very friendly and quick service. And the restaurant surprised my friend with a lovely dessert and candle for her birthday. Really recommend the tapas. Great night. Thank you.
I couldn't love this place more. The quality of food, the choice, flavours & presentation are fantastic. Service is always top notch. It's worked for me as a venue for everything from a causal meal & catch up with friends to business event & Christmas party. Versatile but always 100% on point.
Loved the experience
Lovely food and drinks enjoyed in the sunshine . Excellent service
The weather was unbelievable and it was chaotic in the bar area as- there were hundreds of people outside Urban Brewing and the neighbouring bars, so service was very slow in the restaurant, but the staff were very nice and apologetic about the wait and gave us complimentary spiced nuts and samples of the house beers.
The food was very nice and a bit different but I was disappointed that they didn't have patatas bravas (my favourite tapas). Two beers and five plates of tapas came to €52.
Top notch. Really comes in to its own in this fabulous weather, but I've been here in the darker days of winter and it was just as good. Great selection of craft beers, and great venue before heading off to the Bord Gais or the Point.
Went there for tapas, it was busy but still limited service at table level;
Waiting 10 mins for a drink order
Food is small for what you get (ironically tapas I know)
- €14 for monkfish and its small small for example
Waited 10 mins after been asked if we want desert and no one came back so we left
None of the table cleared beside us
Just poor poor service
Lovely food and friendly service. Tapas were good size and tasty. One negative is the toilets. For such a big premises, the toilets are not big enough and there were constant queues for both men and women.
