Nice spot. Great customer service.
Fun place for drinks! Definitely on the pricey side and the quality felt like it was a bit lacking, but still a fun and trendy place go for drinks or snacks with friends.
Overall service was poor. We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our drinks after I hunted down the manager, Remy. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and another 15 minutes to put in order. Once we got our food we were given plastic utensils with just the paper napkin that comes in the plastic.
The food was okay, nothing to highlight.
During the course of our dinner the service did get better as one waitress started coming by, but still she took quite a long time to return considering the small number of tables.
We won't be going back.
Reserve this place for Mothers Day, Originally it was a party of 7 however due to an emergency it end up being a party of 3. The hostess attempted to sat us in a dark corner behind the bar which was a NO. It was Mother's Day the last thing we want to be sat in which is a beautiful ambiance is away from the experience. We than waited an additional 20 mins to be sat somewhere close to the 1st seating that we said no to. I figure ok at this point just take a seat. They ran out of lobster which suck since I am Pescatarian. My waitress NEVER checked on us. The food was out before the appetizers, my aunt's order was forgotten and not put in Other than the crab cakes on the appetizer menu not was available allegedly sold out. It's Mother's Day in a downtown DC restaurant they were not prepared. It was hard trying to order other drinks and food because the waitress never came back nor did she even bother to tell us her name don't waste your time! Then they have a nerve to tell you about this 90 minute rule at the table but if my waitress is not coming to take orders in a timely fashion how does that make sense?
Slow and erratic service - water late, several beers not available, plastic cutlery but no plates provided!
The food was terrible. The Macaroni and Cheese was bland and barely had cheese. How can you create an entire section in the menu and it not be good. The other appetizers were just ok. Nothing that would set it apart from a basic restaurant. The service was slow. We had to have the manager come to the table just to bring the check. I had a reservation and still had to wait 45 mins to sit. The noise inside the restaurant made it hard to hear the conversation at your table. We were also given a table with red fold out picnic chairs that were uncomfortable. The only thing going well for the restaurant is the décor. The décor was the highlight of the entire time.
Well I expected Mother’s Day to be crowded but I also made reservations well in advance so to arrive on time & have several other parties sat before us, not to mention having to sit outside because inside was so full & I requested to be seated inside on my reservation was not what we were expecting. Then to take it a step further, once we were finally seated outside & our waiter took our drink/ meal orders, only one drink came out. I am pregnant & had to remind the waiter about bringing me my lemon water which should’ve taken no time. The rest of us did not have our drinks until some of our food arrived which was still a long wait. My boyfriend ended never getting his meal which was just a burger until the rest of us all finished eating our meals. We asked to speak with management & they never came by our table so we requested the burger be taken off the bill & asked for togo boxes to leave. Not a good first experience especially on Mother’s Day.
Nice decor and ambiance. Good drinks but the food was okay
Food is fine. We sat outside and the tables are fire pits with edges, so there's basically no space for the boards or individual plates. It's so awkward and inconvenient. But my experience was ruined by the manager. A homeless man walked by and I ordered him a coffee and croissant. The manager asked him to leave but I said he was waiting on food. Manager went in and brought a coffee and sends him on his way, telling me there's no croissants. A few minutes later, the waitress brings me a fresh croissant on a plate. I sent it back. Then another waitress brought me another croissant in a to-go bag. Clearly, the manager just didn't want him there. Too much inconvenience for 5 mins to treat someone with dignity. All he had to do was be kind - and not lie to me about the food. Oh, then they tried charging me for it (the "nonexistent" croissant).
They weren’t able to accommodate our reservation at the time scheduled. We waited almost 20 mins. I requested indoor seating but we sat outside just to have a seat.
Everything was a 10/10. From the food to the service
It was awesome and the customer service was great
This restaurant is not kid friendly at all, the food was ok and the menu was very limited. The restaurant space is very tight; it seems this place is still being established.
Food was fine, and the menu descriptions defining make it seem like you’re gonna get some bang for your buck but that’s not quite the case. Platters are all small servings meant for sharing by 2-3 people, one platter is barely a serving for a single diner. Alcoholic drinks arrived quickly but were poorly made, coffees all showed up after the meal was finished as did one of our sides. The service staff were all very friendly but seemed a bit confused and out of sorts. Had really hoped this could be a frequent spot to stop in the area but not sure I’ll return.
It’s a beautiful place with spectacular decor. Just can be a little too loud when it comes to having conversations at your table. You can barely hear each other.
I will definitely be back for brunch! Everything was AMAZING!
A place to be seen. This restaurant is for Instagram photo ops. The food is not good at all. The sangria wasn’t worth it. In my opinion don’t waste your time unless you want cute social media pictures
The ambience was great, I got the rise and shine breakfast board which was pretty good, I would return and try something different
Ambient was great, but for the prices the portions of food are really poor.
Great food and experience. Will have to come back on weekdays to try coffee flights.
Please try the crab cakes! They were delicious. Also, the drinks are super cute but kinda pricey for them to be light on the liquor.
Food quality for the price wasn’t it. I paid 28 dollars for a brunch board “rise and shine” for a few prices of bacon sausage and half is a dried out cinnamon roll. Drinks took too long to arrive, and the cost of the drink wasn’t respectful to the quality of the drink. My server was fantastic, however the table behind Kept speaking of they amorous events they had the night before which really damped my experience. I mean no one wants to hear about how you “lubricate the larynx” *gag* no pun intended. I’d say go try it out if you’ve never been. However, Would I come back? No, there’s other places that are half the cost for better quality. Might I add there was literally no Social distance.
They pressure you into leaving one hour into a two hour reservation. They also clear your table of everything while the party at the table next to you that arrived before you is allowed to continue consumption.
Food was mediocre and the place was so loud Me and my boyfriend had to yell across the table to hear each other. Wasn’t worth the money at all
We have a wonderful time and the good was amazing Emmy was exceptional with her service 10 ⭐️ ✨
The food was AMAZING! Great date night and outing with friends.
Service was incredible, drinks were too syrupy.
The inside of the place was beautiful. The service was great and the food was delicious. I would definitely go back and I want to try the brunch.
Melissa is great! I loved the atmosphere. The food was great, came out quite fast. I will definitely be back and hope to have Melissa as my server. Thank you for making it a great first visit!
Bad service, Amazing manager ! He made up for our terrible server, we were left alone for long periods of time. Again great manager, and great food!
Super cute scenery. Gives Amsterdam basement vibes. Bomb coffee.
Great service, food was good, the pitcher was amazing!
This was the best food was good ambiance was amazing definitely be back
Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had. The food is mediocre at best, the “fire-pit” tables are a lawsuit waiting to happen, and the service was appalling! The bussers tried to take our food several times while we were STILL eating! When I spoke to the manager about the poor food and service, (David) was defensive about everything, condescending, and flat out rude! I have never in my life had a manger blame ME for a poor dining experience. When we got our checks he didn’t comp anything. He didn’t offer us a dessert or anything to make us reconsider dining there in the future. I had to go inside the restaurant to ask the hostess for David’s manager. When David and his assistant manager walked up, the assistant asked what was wrong and I told him that David was very rude. David replied “how was I being rude?” In a whiny tone. Then David took me to see the owner who was much nicer. He gave us 50% off. But honestly the damage was already done. The food was horrid, the service was abysmal, and the whole experience was terrible. I WILL NEVER RETURN! There is no amount of money that anyone could pay for me to return to that trash restaurant!
The food was great! The ambiance was perfect. Amanda was such a great server/waitress! She was very polite, patient and made some really awesome recommendations! We will definitely come back again!
Great drinks! Good food, fun atomosphere!! My favorite place
It is rare that you find a restaurant that has all of the following: amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing, service, amazing atmosphere, and amazing desserts. This place has them all!!! The manager, Remy was THE best as well as our server Emily!!
My food was cold and there was no avocado on my avocado toast. I also requested Turkey bacon but got regular bacon. Very aesthetically pleasing ambiance but a bit overpriced.
Luisa is great!
