Welcome to our new Van Winkle West End location, we look forward to welcoming you. We’ve sampled food all across the USA but our heart fell in love with the taste of classic BBQ and Grill dishes from Kentucky. Comfort food for the soul and incredible flavours.

Serving the largest selection of Bourbons in Scotland along with an awesome array of beers, wine and cocktails.

All our food is locally sourced, using on the highest quality products and prepared fresh, in house at Van Winkle.

We are in a great location at Sandyford Place, Sauchiehall Street with easy access from the City Centre or the West End.

Service was amazing, Ashleigh (hope I'm spelling that right) was so lovely and attentive nothing was any bother. Food was great too! Highly recommend the corn dogs and 4 roses bourbon was delish! And got to pet cute dogs! So we will definitely be back

Comfortable seats, friendly staff. Pulled pork burger was delicious as was the bacon cheeseburger. Enjoyed a cocktail as well. Reasonable price and, apart from a bit of a noisy table on the other side of the restaurant, a pleasant environment and dining experience.

Our server was very good, always cleared out empty drinks and asked if we wanted another one. Also moved us to a bigger table when one was free which was nice. Ordered the hell burger challenge which said you’d get a photo on the wall of fame when finished. I cleared my plate but wasn’t asked to do a photo : ( disappointing! The burger was great though! Unfortunately my girlfriends food came cold but didn’t send it back as we did wait some time for our food to come, we were starving at that point! The bar was pretty full when we arrived but by the time we left it was very quiet but for some reason the waitress decided to sit at the table next to us and started drying wet cutlery and throwing them inside with the others very loudly! Really not the place to do it and there were plenty other empty tables away from customers that she could have done it at. My partner and I couldn’t even hear one other and the noise was going through us!! Great to try the challenge, disappointing not to go on the wall of fame and the cold food and loud inappropriate noise, don’t think we will be back.

Lovely food, even better service! We ordered a LOT of food: highlights were the wings (delicious), pulled pork burger (huge) and the mac and cheese (delish). What we couldn't eat we were allowed to take away in a carryout box. Service was excellent, really quick and thoughtful by very pleasant people. We took our collies who were given attention, treated nicely and enjoyed their menu choices then a snooze. The bill was quite big - three figures - but drinks are expensive and we are happy to pay more in order to keep places like this going. Will definitely visit again

Went in as a family of 6 on Saturday 10th Sept for a meal and drinks before heading to the ovo hydro. Music was great and we enjoyed the vibe in the bar . Drinks and meal were lovely ... every plate was cleared and definitely value for money . Not expensive at all . The staff were amazing , very attentive and looked after us and everyone else efficiently. Outstanding service at van winkle West. Thank you 😊

My girlfriend and I popped in for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks before a concert nearby. Warm welcome on arrival, and were sat at our table without any fuss! Staff were bubbly and attentive, despite it only being a Tuesday night! Standard of food and drink was very good, no complaints whatsoever. We’ll be back. Thank you for having us!

Really nice bar with good food & great selection of beers & American whiskey. The girl running the bar told us there was a 2 steak dinner for £25 starting that night, which we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed. Decent cut for the money, well cooked and great onion rings & peppercorn sauce. Lovely pint of Krusovice too, definitely recommend.
