From start to finish our lunch was excellent and I will be recommending it to my work colleagues and friends.

Wouldnt recommend this to anyone. Very clearly early days of restaurant. Teething issues.

My friend was first put a different table to me despite booking.
It took 30 mins and 3 clarifications as to where our coffees were, next came our meal. Again asked three times for for mayonaise.

Great place to go! Nice staff, good food and didn't feel one bit rushed even though we were sitting down for over 3 hours!

The food was lovely when we eventually got it.. I ordered a cup of tea at 13:25... 13:40 still no sign of the tea.
Slow to recommend it for lunch if I am tied to an hour lunch break as service does tend to be slow.!

Lovely restaurant great surroundings,
I have had breakfast here on a couple of occasions at it was excellent. Lunch menu and selection was a little less impressive. Good basis food though nothing to complain about at all.

I booked at table by email for 4 people last Monday at 2pm. We arrived and we waited for about 3 minutes and nobody came over to look after, even though a waitress passed by twice without saying any word. We decided to walked in and sat down at a table which it did not say reserved. We waited for another 3 minutes, 2 waitresses passed by without saying anything again. I decided to call one of them when I saw him again and asked him if we could see the menu as the waitress did not offer it for us.

I asked the waitress how many falafels I would get in my dish and he did not have a clue what a falafel was, so I explained to him what it was, what it was made off, how did it look like etc etc and then I said to him do not worry asking how many I would get.

Another of the members of the family asked him for another thing I can not remember which it was in the menu and he said that he did not know, anyway he asked in the kitchen and came back.

The 4 lunches, I believe, took more than 20 minutes to arrive at the table. The restaurant was not busy at all, when we arrived there were only 4 people having lunch, then a lady came on her own, and after when we were having ours a couple arrived.

When we finished, I called the waitress again for the dessert menu. He said that he would go on his break but someone else would take the order. After a couple of minutes, we called a girl and we told her that we wanted one americano and a brownie, nothing else. She said that the kitchen was closes. What? She went to the kitchen and then came back and took the order.

When the person finished her americano and brownie, I asked the waitress for the bill. It was broken down in 2 parts, the total and the taxes. I was confused, as I did not know if the taxes were included already or not, so I called the same waitress who finished his break, asked him if the taxes were included or not, and he said that he did not know. He went and asked somebody, came back and explained to me that

Food was fabulous - vegan breakfast. There was a bit of a mix up with the order but they went out of their way to sort it and were very gracious about looking after the bill. Can't wait to go back.

It always takes ages for the waiter to come and bring the check. Even when trying to order, the service is a bit slow.

Certainly a very aesthetically pleasing cafe. I would think a little style over substance but will give the benefit of the doubt, newly opened etc.

Best baked eggs I have ever had. Service extremely slow but I think this was due to being seated out front and the main restaurant is in the back.
Great value and friendly staff.

Great accessible menu, something for everyone, fantastic space, the library area for a business meeting is perfect! Couldn't ask for much more although believe they will develop into something bigger...they're definitely the most popular spot to come around in this area for a while! Always busy!

I'm saying yes but with a few reservations. Three of us went for brunch - one friend had avacado on toast which she was happy with, another had pancakes which she wasn't happy with as the portion was so small. I had the skillet fry and was VERY disappointed with it - the rashers, sausages and pudding had all been cooked hours earlier and kept warm (or maybe microwaved to reheat). This is something I expect in a cheap cafe not a brunch spot charging significantly higher prices.
The building is gorgeous and the staff are friendly, however I don't know if I'll be buying anything more than coffee there in the future.

Love the space... Cool enclosed courtyard & vintage library space.
We just had lunch but it was excellent. I went for the fish&chips - couldn’t fault it.

Exciting little restaurant!

Fantastic spot. Was nice to be indoors but technically outdoors! Friendly staff and the food was heaven.
