This was our first visit to Verano Café, and it exceeded our expectations. We had looked at the website and read the reviews beforehand, so we arrived with high hopes. We started with salads that were fresh and flavorful, and each of the four people in our party ordered a different entrée. Every dish was excellent. The food was beautifully prepared and exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent as well, and we had a very relaxing, enjoyable evening. We will definitely return—and look forward to trying the breakfast and lunch menus, too.

We took our friends to have dinner at the Verano Cafe. The food was absolutely delicious. We split their special salad with arugula, tomatoes, watermelon and peaches with balsamic vinegar dressing. Very good! We also had beef bourguignon and fish special. We also split profiteroles for desert. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this local family restaurant.

I started with the special salad, consisting of watermelon, peach, burrata cheese, and heirloom tomatoes, with a balsamic vinegar dressing. Very tasty. My main course was the flounder meunière over mashed potatoes and spinach. Delicious! Sat outside to enjoy a soothing breeze on a warm evening. Attentive friendly service combined for a very nice evening out.

We have driven past many times but it does not stand out. Parking is a bit dicey. It is a nice cafe with a nice outdoor space, but being on highway 12 it can be a little noisy. The staff is very nice and attentive. We went for dinner after a concert on Sunday night and sat outdoors. They have very interesting wine selections; we had a Vermentino from Corsica which was very good. We started with bread and the crab mango stack which was very refreshing. Our dinners were fettuccini mushroom pasta with lots of mushroom, very tasty and butternut squash ravioli, also delicious. We ordered profiteroles as our desert, but the puff pastry was a bit off, not our favorite. Our server Carlos said that they excel at breakfast and lunches, so we will be back to try some of those items. It was a very good experience and we will return.
