Vintage Cocktail Club Ratings and Reviews
Very disappointed on sat night . Was expecting lovely couches & lampshades in a secluded bar . We arrived & went upstairs to a roof terrace to be seated in a Tiny corner , surroundings were awful & smoking around us .
When we left we went down a different stairs & was so disappointed to see that downstairs was what I was expecting with lovely seating & surrounding .
This was a special occasion for us & we were all very disappointed.
Love the decor and ambiance. Nice place to meet with friends for drink and chat in uncrowded setting. Friendly service. Cocktails are made to order and it's usually busy so it can be a very long wait(45mins for 1st round of 3) . 11.95 for any cocktail even a simple mimosa is pricey enough. Could be a better price range
A very different dublin experience. You're sent back straight to the late 20s to the times of prohibition. The bar concept is really extraordinary and the cocktails world class. The waitresses are walking cocktailpedias and if you can't handle the very large variety, they'll help you to find YOUR drink in an instant.
What fun! Great ambiance, food menu was more than adequate to offset the number of cocktails we enjoyed and the cocktails(!!!). Well done, extensive menu, something for every palate in our group and loads of fun to experiment with.
Will definitely go again next time we're in Dublin.
It was absolutely incredible : the food was great, and the lady who brought it even told us how easily we could do it at home (I'm sure it won't be as good as theirs)
The cocktails are incredible, many different flavours for all tastes, but alas, secret recipes :)
We had a great night, thank you all so much
Vintage Cocktail Club is a quirky, unique spot with extensive cocktail list dating back to the 1400s to the present, with the menu providing an education in the evolution of mixed drinks. Spot is super cool speakeasy vibe. I took bartender's recommendation for a cocktail and was pleased. Cocktail prices are steep as you'd expect but the food prices are reasonable and food is good. Definitely worth a visit.
I was there for my sister's hen party drinks. The booking was mixed up due to a system error and we moved table from a table for 4 to a taber for 2. The water glasses were chipped and the floor staff and bartender seemed very stressed. The cocktails weren't as good as the last time either. Still a quite pleasant athmoshere! Hopefully it will be better next time!
The cocktails are amazing! I booked through OpenTable and less than 10 minutes later they called me to confirm the reservation and I have to give them a point about it. The menu is an experience itself, and the venue is great, nice seating and perfect decoration. My girlfriend and me went there just for a "fancy drink", but we are actually in love with the place.
Place where seated was cramped and seat on wall broken no sunken. Room was exceptionally warm and candles did not help. I am aware this was for the ambience of the room but still sitting there with sweat dripping down my back was far from comfortable. I had to stand outside a number of time to cool down.
The services took far to long for the amount of people in the bar. From ordering it took ten minutes for cocktails to arrive. They were nice and lovely but the wait was far to long.
We ordered food the beef in batter may as well have been grease sticks. The shear amount of oil coming out of the would have America looking to invaid for oil rights. The food was utterly void of taste but greasy and the odd heat from chilli.
The waiting staff were easily approachable Anne Marie was fun and talkative which was a certain plus to the visit.
I would mention the bar in passing as a place to visit but not to reserve a table and definitely sit outside but this would be for drinks only. Food would be a no if people I knew where looking for grease that would appease the heaviest of drinking session the local Chinese or grease tray from super macs would be far cheaper and unfortunately probably taste better.
The cocktails we did have were exceptional.
We really enjoyed VCC. Its so friendly. The seating is tastefully arranged and not too many tables. The food was superb and the service excellent.
The cocktails wete amazing and the whole experience very memorable.
And above all the music was at the correct volume to allow for conversation as well as enjoying the music.
Great ambience and venue, great cocktails, however I ordered my steak "medium, well, more well than medium" it arrived very much more 'medium' than well
I was very, very hungry and began to eat by hiding the blood with the potatoe, I was finished before the waitress checked "is everything ok?"
