    We had an absolute ball at this gorgeous caffe! Mateo and his staff could not have been more attentive or accommodating prior to our party arriving by organising and liasing with myself on party decorations, a cake and a bottle of bubbly ready and waiting on the table as our guest of honour walked through the door! The food was delicious and Michael the accordion player was the star of the show. The atmosphere was so welcoming with such a positive vibe that you immediately relaxed and started to enjoy yourself from the minute you arrived. I will be certainly be back and will make sure to tell all my family and friends this is a destination that you need to visit when coming to Sydney!

    Nice food but a very short menu, no classic Italian dishes. Also, a bit pricey.

    Whilst the service and beverages were good, I felt the food was relatively plain in flavour and a little overpriced. Sauces for pastas need to be improved. Bread was very good

    Every meal was delicious - inventive, tasty, original, plentiful - we had a variety of entrees and mains, vegetarian and seafood. We didn't have time for dessert but they looked delicious.The home made pasta was excellent.The service was charming, attentive and helpful. We were disappointed we couldn't stay for dessert and will remember this restaurant in the future.
