   Delicious small plate food, which was interesting as well as tasty. As a group of 4 we ordered 13 plates including breads which was more than enough! Came out at 30 quid a head with drinks and tip which I thought was very reasonable for the deliciousness and amount of food we ate. Personally I thought all of the best things were the vegetarian options such as burrata, potatoes, goat cheese, cabbage and lentils, and I would 100% recommend getting all of the dips.

    I last visited Volta in 2020, and had forgotten how outstanding the food was. Everything was flavourful and perfectly cooked and presented, the plates were brought out quickly, and the service was wonderful. Thank you for such a great evening!

    The food is always brilliant, and they cater for my gluten intolerance really well. The drinks and service is amazing too. We love that they space for us to bring our greyhound too (they even got her a water bowl).

    Volta is consistently good. You can trust that the food is going to be just as good as the last time you visited. The only negative is that the service staff is constantly changing, so you never get to feel like a "regular" in this neighborhood spot because everyone is always new.

    Lovely lunch with friends. Great food, lovely wine, fab ambience. Love the whipped feta, the lamb shawarma, the goat's cheese with honey and especially the crunchy potatoes.

    On the whole food is delicious, only the scallops were disappointing - small and dry. Beetroot mutabal was lovely, as were the cod and lamb shawarma. We were seated outside as it was busy indoors, but with heaters it was warm enough. Service was not great, two different glasses of red wine were given the wrong way around and the wines were mediocre at best. Tables, cutlery and glassware could be cleaner.

    We loved it here. Really lovely ambience, laid back, almost French feel to the place. The food was just perfect, small plates of utterly delicious tastes.
