    As part of Melbourne Food + Wine Festival 2023, Vue de monde is excited to welcome to the kitchen, Chef + Founder of 2 Michelin Star restaurant, Ikoyi London, Jeremy Chan. Ikoyi is currently ranked 49th restaurant on the World's 50 Best list, who recently coined Chan a "visionary, cerebral chef producing undefinable, iconic plates". "I’m coming to Melbourne to cook new dishes inspired by the produce of Victoria," says Chan. "I can’t wait to cook vibrant dishes with deep and complex flavours and figure all of this out just a few days ahead of our collaboration." Jeremy, along with our very own Executive Chef, Hugh Allen + team will present a carefully curated ten-course tasting menu. Optional beverage pairings are available.

    Beautiful experience at Vue, we loved it. Service was exceptional the staff attention to detail was something else, food was so well thought out and nice, view was incredible, overall a really special experience for us having never dined there before. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

    Absolutely amazing experience from start to end ! Welcome and elevator ride were wonderful Views insane with the sunset then the city lights Food was incredible! Service was next level ! Fergus with our wines and Nicole with our food were absolute amazing ! So knowledgeable and the best service I’ve had ! So friendly and warm and really made the whole experience amazing !

    This was an incredible culinary experience, with each dish a work of art, curated with much thought and research. The staff were impeccable, each team member greeted us warmly and directly. Our personal waiter, Ben, I can not commend him enough. He was personable, warm, witty and knowledgeable. I could rave on and on about Vue de monde; it certainly lived up to all my expectations and I am forever grateful that I managed to cross off one of my personal bucket list items - I can’t not wait to do this all again. Thank you Vue de monde team x

    Vue de Monde is a destination dining experience on the 55th floor in the heart of Melbourne. The view is just stunning to watch- the sunset and the nighttime sky appear. The meal is an adventure and each course is meant to be a culinary surprise, all reflecting the bounty of Australia. The staff all work seamlessly together, in an open kitchen. Just gorgeous overall.

    Food and service was great. Pre dinner drinks at the bar was ordinary, took ten minutes to get the attention of a waiter and a further ten minutes for the drinks to arrive. Only negative for a wonderful experience.

    The wine and the food were both excellent. The service was also spot on. We had an 845pm seating and we’re able to watch the sunset from the bay windows. The sea snail was one of my favorite bites. Being from the US, it was great to experience so many foods unique to the area. It was exactly what I was looking for on our last night in Australia.

    Its hard to overstate how good the service is at VdM: we returned for a special occasion (anniversary) and the team made it a night to remember. The food is of a beautiful quality and always served with a story: makes the experience so much more interesting. We'll be be back again (and again) as the experience of being looked after by the VdM team is something to look forward to.

    What: Lunch $$$ Lunch in Vue de Monde is a great experience. Tables well spaced in a dark interior makes for a good viewing outside on a fine day @ lvl 55. “Relax, enjoy ” is the feeling as the team works very well together making sure the customer knows that everything is under control. Yes Chef!

    On every level this experience was exceptional. Half way through the twelve-course delectable feast, my partner went to the ladies room. It was the perfect time for me to tell one of the staff that I was going to propose and I asked the waitress (Nicole, yes it was you!) if she could deliver the engagement ring to the table in a special way. And she certainly did and magically so with one ‘special’ extra course for the lady. Happy to report that my partner said ‘Yes’, and what followed was truly exceptional service. The team at Vue De Monde made our experience undeniably memorable with their kindness, generosity, attention to detail and unexpected surprise touches during what was an exquisite and most enjoyable evening full of culinary wonder and delight. A perfect experience we shall both treasure forever… 10 stars out of 10.

    The standout was most definitely the impeccable service, fine dining experience without the stuffiness of a typical fine dining restaurant. Down to earth and funny staff who went above and beyond to make it a truly memorable night. Couldn’t fault the food and the best views of Melbourne. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
