There were only one other couple in restaurant, and we only ordered two main courses, but we still had to wait an hour for the food. No explanation was given for delay.

First visit to Waggon at Hale, for mid week roast. Not really a sensible choice for a business meeting as it was busy and a bit squashed. Might try another day, or a later time. We asked for a corner table and our requirements were met, quite impressed that the message had got through. Service was a bit slow, as there seemed to be too few staff. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. There was only one complaint that one of portions of chips were not cooked properly, perhaps a bit rushed. Puddings were very good. We were not rushed out, especially as our meeting overran by a good hour, but we would try again. The roast was good value for money, not the best quality, but adequate for the price. We hope to give a better review next time.

Visited here a few times, Always good service and the food is very good, Especially the cajun chicken! Nice in the winter with the open fire, It can get a bit noisy when its busy but thats not a bad thing as its good to see a pub busy! Will definitely be back again soon.

Lovely food but the table was a little cramped. Service was good but a little slow.

A lively and noisy night in the bar but it was quieter in the restaurant area. The food is always good and reasonably priced, and the service excellent.
