Walters since 1904, and Lloyd’s Pub prior to that, 68 Upper George’s Street has been part of the social fabric of Dún Laoghaire for many generations. Now under new management, we are embarking on the next chapter and look forward to meeting you at our venue.

    Very cool bar, yummy food, great ambience, nice crowd and fab music especially the Sunday Jazz/Bossa Nova sessions! Overall a wonderful addition to Dun Laoghaire, highly recommend a visit or two!!

    This was the first time I’d eaten in Walters. To say it was disappointing is an understatement. The whole experience was very poor. We had to ask for everything from condiments to water. The food was reheated and not fresh. The pea purée with my fish and chips was almost solid. The fish still has skin on it. The salad leaves were wilted and brown. Not once did a staff member ask was everything ok. Not even on paying the bill. Which for what we got was very expensive.

    We had a very nice meal at Walters, I had the steak sandwich which was lovely, my friends had burgers and fish and they were very happy also. They also really enjoyed the desserts, strawberry cheesecake and a Sundae. To be honest the Sundae was really just a bowl of ice cream, if you are expecting an old fashioned Sundae in a tall glass you might be disappointed. The service was friendly, though a tiny bit erratic, and there was a couple of beverages on the menu that we didn't have, but they were removed without fuss. The atmosphere is very nice, chilled and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable evening and will definitely be back.

    Overall this is more of a daytime place and the food and board games for kids is nice. The food was good, though would not recommend for an evenning meal. It would be a nice spot after a daytime walk on the pier at Dunlaoghiare or at the Peoples Park.

    Generally very good. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was well prepared and good value for money. The only let down was the toilet facilities. The male toilets had a bad smell, were not up to a good standard and probably the worst I experienced in a pub/restaurant during my week's holiday in Ireland.

    Lovely friendly service. Good tasty fresh fish served with nice veg. Limited wine list but what we had was nice. Lovely venue especially towards the front. Would happily go again.

    Really enjoyed our meal in Walter’s, the food was delicious….gorgeous table at the window, comfortable, stylish pub..lovely wait staff..will definitely go back. Had the sea bass and it was delicious, will be back to try the beef and Guinness!
