Good food and very kind owners.
Restaurant in front of the sea.
Wednesday night steaks, can't go wrong. Great as ever!
lovely location but the food was only ok. We had calamari to start and venison sausage, the calamari was undercooked and the batter was not hot, the sausage would have been lovely except it tasted like a reheat. The main of monkfish was nice and the so were the fish and chips as the portion was excellent , but again the batter and also the chips wer al little undercooked. The service was ok, 2 staff one very friendly and helpful and the other really unhappy and didnt seem to want to be there. The wine was nice but my glass was 8.50 and it was not a decent size glass, but the worst thing for me was the cutlery, it was the cheapest pound shop quality . Our meal with n o dessert 4 glasses of wine was 90 e not good value. The unfriendly staff member brought he bill with 2 glasses of a creamy maybe baileys , drink but didnt say anything or tell us what it was , not the greatest experience . They can do a lot better
Waterfront Bistro is Dun Laoghaire’s best kept secret.
It’s s an absolute gem for great food, friendly professional service, and terrific value.
Keith and his team work extremely hard to make the customer experience very special and it continually shows in the final product...”On the Plate”
Very friendly helpful staff, we were there for mothers day and the set menu was delicious. Would highly recommend
Good food. Set menu for Mothers day was limited to starter and main - would have preferred to choose 2 courses out of 3 as none of the starters really floated my boat.
Excellent food, they were so helpful regarding dietary needs & nothing was a problem. Service & friendliness was 1st class.
Nice place, good service, very good food (we went for breakfast), overall is highly recommended.
Unfortunately there is no sea view anymore because of a site construction right in front of the restaurant.
This is such an incredible place for lunch or dinner. Been here for both and the food is exceptional without being overly “fussy”. The fish courses are incredible and the scampi has to be sampled as it’s delicious. At dinner the other day my husband chose steak and said it was fab!
Keith, the owner and host is charming and should be congratulated on this wonderful eaterie! I give it 6 stars and will be going back very soon
Great option for lunch.Lovely area for a walk along the seafront.
Good choices on the menu.Wine excellent.
Very good meal in a happy relaxed atmosphere looking forward to my next visit
The is one of the best restaurants in Dublin. The food and service are only excellent
The food was fine but not in any way remarkable. I had a calamari starter which was quite bland. My main course of pork belly was nicely presented but lacked flavour. Overall a good alternative to having to cook on a Friday but no better than what I may have served up myself. Staff were pleasant and friendly.
We enjoyed our dining experience on the Waterfront. The ambiance was pleasant and the food was cooked well and was tasty. The food was not especially cheap but good value nonetheless given the quality and presentation.
We woukd go back again.
I really love this place. I've been quite a few times, sometimes just as a couple, a couple of times with our parents and kids. The food is fresh, tasty and well presented. Front of house staff are friendly, lively, full of fun but not at all intrusive.
Our Mum's in particular love coming here. The decor is not intimidating whilst being clean, friendly and modern.
Been here twice now and loved it. Staff very friendly and welcoming and great food!
Great food and great value for your money. Will certainly come back. Thanks for the lovely evening.
The restaurant was buzzing when we arrived we recieved a warm welcome and shown to our table. Everything was perfect from start to finish definitely worth a visit you will not be disappointed
Good service, polite staff, nice place to spend time!
The atmosphere was friendly and calm. The wait staff was welcoming and efficient and the food was delicious.
Keith and Fiona are always lovely hosts. The lady who served our table of 4 adults and 2 kids was amazing, attentive but quietly. Great food and ambiance
Great food, a lovey restaurant, beautiful location and very gracious staff. Recommended!
Very good food, very good service. Small cozy restaurant.
We went for a special dinner date and had a fabulous time!
We had a dinner-date at The Waterfront Bistro and we were so pleasantly surprised with this cosy little find.
The food menu was short but unique. My husband had the prawns and I had the chicken for the main course. Both were delicious. The prawns dish was a bit expensive, but definitely worth it.
The staff was extremely friendly.
We are going back to this place again :)
Had such a lovely evening at waterfront.
We only like be in Sandycove and just discovered the little gem of the waterfront.
Real dublin batbprawns and delicious main course.
Lovely maitre d .
Very efficient ,professional .
Will definitely be back x
Lovely lunch with my dad on a Saturday lunch time. Nice service and excellent food - we had the delicious hake special and orange and almond cake. We'll definitely be back! At the moment the view is blocked by hoarding - looking forward to seeing the sea from the bistro!
We could not think of a thing we didn’t love!
Really a “find” on the waterfront of DunLaoghaire.
The food was perfectly cooked and served...risotto,calamari,seabass,al dente veggies, etc.
The service was very personal and “spot on”.
If we lived closer, it would be a regular visit to Waterfront Bistro!
The directions were unclear but a call to the restaurant got us there easily!
Great atmosphere, amazing food, friendly staff. I would recommend to all my friends
Unfortunatley my parners meal came out cold but was attended to straight away host was very charming and pleasant. Food good service exellent lovely deckor will visit again for sure
I dined here last Sunday with four American friends. The food was excellent especially the monkfish and sea bream. The seasoning and favors were just right. The service was excellent and Keith, in particular, was fantastic and really engaged with our group. I live not too far from the restaurant and will certainly return. The Early Bird was good value too.
Wonderful host, delicious carefully prepared food and lovely location on the waterfront.
I Highly recommend The Waterfront Bistro.
Couldn’t be more accommodating! Great atmosphere and amazing food!
Great food, great service. Very enjoyable. Friendly hosts!
Great restaurant. The manager/owner (?) was a fabulous host and so very accommodating. He organised starters for us that weren't on the lunch menu.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Good food, nice wine, good atmosphere and the price was not too bad at all. Definitely worth a visit.
The service is amazing and the food really good! The place is lovely, everything was so perfect! I will go back for sure
