The woodlands restaurant is absolutely stunning 😍 the views out the window is amazing. Fine dining restaurant with lovely staff. Food is always perfect. I had a chicken salad and husband had vegetable soup to start ( husband said all soups here are delicious. Both of us had the roast lamb the potatoes and gravey that come with it are amazing 👏 😋 😍 Thank you all at the Glenview

Food was very nice as always. Staff were attentive and helpful. A very nice place for a Sunday lunch, especially at this time of year when the view of the forest is so nice.

I booked the Woodlands restaurant but was told on arrival we had to eat in the bar because they hadn't got enough bookings to warrant opening the restaurant. We should have been contacted beforehand about this.

I live in the general area and am a member on the leisure club. This was my first time in the restaurant and i have to say from the moment we had our drinks in the bbq area outside to the meal itself it was a wonderful experience. The service was fantastic. The food was beautiful and music in the bar afterwards made me feel like i was on holidays! Like i said i live locally and could not get a taxi home, the lovely night porter, Paul actually dropped us home! Glenview is a 5 star experience!

My siblings and I brought our elderly mum here for lunch on her birthday. The restaurant had been redecorated since our last visit a year ago. There is a beautiful view of the Glen of the Downs and we were given a window table as requested. The seating was very comfortable and the restaurant slowly filled up over the lunch period. It is no surprise that family groups choose here for celebrations. The staff members were very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely and there was ample choice. The meat was beautifully cooked. I thought lunch was excellent value at €32 for 2 courses and €39 for three. Well done Woodlands Restaurant, we will be back!

I’ve been to the restaurant during the week on a few occasions and liked the food and service. However the Sunday lunch menu is overpriced and does not represent value for money.

It was my first time lunching in the Woodlands restaurant. I had booked a table (as seen on the pictures ) in the restaurant, by the window and overlooking the gardens but there was a function and the only tables available were downstairs. We were disappointed to say the least because the experience was very different from what expected. However, the staff was very nice, the food beautiful to see and delicious especially the starters and the deserts. I will give it another chance of course as I was really looking forward to the atmosphere of the large dining room with windows overlooking the gardens. Having said that I think that I should have been told that the main restaurant was not available. I would have just picked a different day ! Let’s hope that we will be more lucky next time.

Although relatively local we hadn’t ever been here for an evening meal before, but it came highly recommended recently so we went on Mother’s Day. It was fantastic, the service, quality and presentation of the food, everything. We will definitely be back

Thank you to all the staff at Woodlands Restaurant particularly Andrew for making a birthday celebration very special and one to remember. A beautiful restaurant, Ambience and staff very attentive throughout. We found the food excellent. One improvement would be the presentation of the menus, the one I was handed was missing a staple and gradually falling apart. Something that could easily be fixed with higher grade menu cards or hardbook to place them in.

Excellent food friendly and helpful staff. Not happy that my phone was blocked by the booking platform for the duration of my meal. Watered down orange juice on one morning of my stay. If you are not on a package this restaurant is extremely expensive. Otherwise good.
