   They’re trying with very good service but more effort should go into food presentation. Lamb served on very limp lettuce 🥬 does not cut it, and a tablespoon of Greek salad is mercenary.

   Always Great waiters, good customer service and checking in to make sure we are okay 👍🏼 food did take a little while to come but it is so worth it because it’s amazing food and such good portions as i always get the traditional chicken tapsi. great view too, so good for dinner dates

    Our waiter Chris was extremely helpful and made the perfect suggestions. The food was amazing. The musician had us all on our feet. We all had a ball.

    I am surprised this business is on Open Table because it is a fast food restaurant. Food is served on paper and was not the quality I expect from an Open Table restaurant. The wait staff was great, food average, and ambiance was non-existent. For casual food this was tasty but our group was disappointed by the dry lamb, dry loukoumades and French fries instead of good Greek potatoes.

    We sat on the balcony - it was gorgeous ambience. The wine was really good. And then the food came and wow - it was so delicious , so fresh and so beautifully cooked!!! We loved the whole meal and couldn’t fault the night! Thank you YASSAS!!!

    We sat on the balcony on a beautiful late afternoon - it was perfect. The wait staff were very friendly and on point - orders taken promptly with great recommendations for meals and very thoughtful attendance. The food was amazing and we only worked through the entrees! It will definitely be on our list to return - a wonderful experience all round.

    The food here is outstanding, and always delicious. The space needs some maintenance and deep cleaning or renovation. Balcony seats are the best - open in good weather, clear blinds when not.

    Restaurant was boiling hot with no ventilation! Very hard to get attention from wait staff, they could definitely use a few more staff on the floor. Food was ok!

    Enjoyed our meal in Yassas. First time eating proper Greek food and it was a enjoyable experience We loved the muoskaa. Because the of Valentines Day it was a bit rushed but overall a very good experience. Our overseas visitors enjoyed the variety and the taste of the different dishes.

    Disappointing service unfortunately. Never greeted on arrival and had to hunt someone down to even get seated, even though we had been seen multiple trines. Wasn’t seated on the booked table and they wouldn’t move us and no apology. Unprofessional and other issues, but the above is enough. Sadly ruined what was a nice meal.

    So after much research trying to avoid the bad service and food along the Southbank Southgate tourist traps - I thought I had made a good selection. Not so much. Great venue. Patio overlooking the river. Nice table set up. Service was prompt to get started then completely forgot about us. We ordered the meat platter for 3. So disappointed after seeing the wood fired spit in the front as you walk in. Unfortunately our meat must have been cooked two days ago. Lamb cutlets completely over cooked to the point of curling. I had no idea which was the pork or chicken again dry and old. Bifteck same. I was really looking forward to those slices of fresh gyro meat off the fire - nope these were hard dry little pieces like the leftovers after everyone got the good bits. Small salad for 3 people. Chips ok. All Of it was cold to room temp. I could not get anyone’s attention so we gave up and ate. None of it was cooked to order. Why not? We live in Melbourne. We’re not tourists who won’t ever come back or leave a review. I’m embarrassed for Melbourne. No one came back to offer more drinks or see how we are going. Alas Melbourne service. We finally tracked someone down for dessert and coffee. Chai is powdered. Cappuccino cold. Baklava so hard we couldn’t cut it. Don’t make a reservation. Don’t go. Head up to Russell Street and get you some good Greek food with warmer service. Clearly this place is taking advantage of where it is and who they THINK their guests are.

    Atmosphere was amazing. Went for dinner with my father and partner before seeing a show. Service was quick and waitstaff very friendly. Food was overall good, calamari was outstanding. Will definitely be back to try more on the menu.
