Food at ZazaTa was fantastic. Very evocative of authentic middle Easter’s fare which I’ve eaten. The room was though almost too dark to read the menu and the desert service a little slow. But the brilliant drinks made up for that.

Food was beyond our expectations. Was a wonderful way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Service fantastic and the restaurant itself authentic middle eastern. Will definitely be visiting Za Za Ta again.

hi there food was amazing - especially cauli. ambience was nice but seating limited and too close (covid). we ordered a number of dishes but felt squashed on small table (for 2). service was mixed - guy was great / maitre'd somewhat inflexible with seating and both repeated same opener in first 5 minutes ' have you been before?' told one person would be looking after us but also had another girl who plonked dishes on the table - little more mindfully please!

Took my mum here for Mother's Day. Was such a nice spot with beautiful interiors, quiet enough for us to comfortably have a conversation. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu as there is so many unique options that I don't often see at other venues!

As a self proclaimed flexitarian I didn’t know what to expect but from the outset I was blown away by the quality of the service and the meals. My veganesk vegetarian partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and pairing dinner with some cocktails made for an exceptional night out. I would recommend to anyone wanting to try something different. We will be back !!

Service was very subpar. The waitress at dinner and her trainee were TOO attentive, and we ultimately felt bothered. We were asked how everything was multiple times within one course, and then had to wait almost an hour for mains to arrive. Then felt rushed through dessert because they needed the table.

Our group found the table service was really slow and there didn’t appear to be enough staff. What staff there was seemed pulled different directions but no consistency in waiters/orders etc. Drinks took forever to arrive and the some of the food was barely warm. The cauliflower in the feast menu was tepid at best. Just not the best experience.

Really enjoyed the food - I love the sustainable approach to the menu and everything was tasty. Service was good - each dish was explained thoroughly as it hit the table and staff were personable and attentive. The only negative would be the music. I cannot understand why there's a DJ and a sax pumping out nightclub tunes at 6.30 in a restaurant. In the bar, sure, but not a chilled, informal restaurant. It was really odd and distracting. Overall, a good experience. Cheers!

Wow! Who knew cauliflower could taste soo good!!? The service from the staff was impeccable, food came out fast and made with love and “the layla” cocktail was out of this world! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for something a little bit different. Keep in mind it is quite loud inside, don’t expect to be able to hold an important conversation. Just east drink and smile.

As already discussed with staff, new menu is not 5 star anymore. Actually quiet the other way around. Green Shakshuka is not pleasant and more like a watery soup. The cheek pea omelet is a funny concept with dried cheek peas and smooshing egg. Even our coffee were cold when served. We are regulars at this restaurant and last time we were there a weekend ago had a pleasant lunch. Don’t mind the price if receiving a quality food but this time spending $100 for something neither of us even liked. What’s going on Roy?
