This restaurant was recommended by a friend of mine (who is from India) who claimed that this was the best Indian food. I had high expectations going in, but not high enough …Zayka far exceeded my expectations! Everything was well executed, from the multiple people greeting us and serving our meal to the packaging of our leftovers.
The waiter was very attentive to our needs with suggestions from the chef. The food was incredible and the presentation made it more special. We were there to celebrate a friends birthday and it made for a momentous occasion.
This was our first visit to Sushi Blues Café. Be prepared when you go, it's not your typical sushi spot. They have Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling, old record album covers hanging on the wall and classic oldies playing in the background....we loved it :) We were seated right away and drink orders were taken. They gave us plenty of time to look over their sushi selection (they have a regular menu, but we weren't interested in that this time). They have the traditional sushi and they have their specialties that they created. My wife and I both chose from the specialty line. We liked that they had a big selection of spicy roles. We each selected 2 different roles and took advantage to the BOGO. I read in previous reviews about the length of time to get your food and it did take a little time, but the roles are not pre-made plus they also have a lot to takeout orders. Our food came out and we REALLY enjoyed them. My wife got the Marine and the Fire and Ice. I got the Yummy and the Kevin Keatts. As I said, we were very happy with our selections. Just before we left it started to get pretty busy so we got there at a good time. We don't eat sushi a lot but have been to a few places in the area, but, we both agreed, this is by far the best sushi place we've been to, so check it out.
