Very professional service. Very busy but the standards never slipped. Good was served in a timely manner & all of it was tasty & nice portion size. We both had the Fillet Steak which was cooked to perfection & was melt in the mouth. The peppercorn sauce was thick & full of flavour. The dessert was light, fresh & tasty. Well done to all the staff. Would definitely recommend

Dined here Monday April 8th to avail of the BYO / Free corkage offer. Booked for 5.30pm so got to avail of the ‘Express Menu’ 3 courses for €33. Pal ordered monkfish & 2 sides. We shared the Beef & Bacon pot starter & Rhubarb Pavlova dessert. Good size portions so ample for sharing. I suspect the second warm dumpling given with the starter was added as we were sharing. A nice touch. Thank you to Colin, waiter in training, for alerting me to the fact the ‘Wellington’ main course is vegetarian & not beef as I had assumed. Intuitive, unobtrusive & friendly service all the way. Superb food. Fabulous building. Can’t wait to dine here again.

I wanted to go here just to see the place, and had modest expectations before going. I looked at the menu online, and found a good selection of items to choose from. We arrived early before our reservation, and had no trouble getting seated early. The staff was polite, and professional. Our waiter was courteous, prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered a couple N/A beers to start. The selection was small, but the choices were excellent! My wife had the wings and I had the fish and chips. The wings were outstanding! They had a different take beyond the normal wings and the presentation and flavor were amazing! I had the fish and chips. I wasn’t expecting a lot, as it is fish and chips. I couldn’t have been more wrong! The fish was excellent and moist! The breading was not heavy, and was extremely flavorful! The chips were perfect! I have had fish and chips many places around the world, and will say that this was probably the best you can get in Dublin! That is saying a lot considering Leo Burdocks is a Dublin staple for many including me! Everyone was there for the same reason as me, and that is the owner of this establishment. Conor McGregor. Not just a name linked to this establishment. This is a place where I would want to eat and enjoy a meal regardless of who owned it. Everything about this place was spot on! The staff, the food, and let’s not forget the dessert! The lemon tart brûlée was out of this world, and the presentation was beyond what I could have imagined! The decor and televisions playing UFC/McGregor reels were excellent! The ability for anyone to hold and take pictures with the UFC belt was cool! But the crowing jewel for me was the Blue neon throwback “Road House” sign out front. An homage to the original film, and a great throwback for someone who grew up watching the original! I have watched the reimagined version, and have to say that for me, McGregor steals the show! Excellent food, great staff, wonderful decor! Well worth the trip!
