It's a beautiful room in a glorious garden and the set menu is fine dining at pub food prices: £35 for three delicious, thoughtful and well-balanced courses (plus a delicious piece of oil-drenched focaccia to begin). I would have liked to have been offered the menu, after our main courses, just to see if we would have liked dessert or a coffee to finish our meal.
