Food was very good, but for this $ I would've expected to be wowed by it. Otherwise was a great experience.

Disappointed. Food was decent, a bit pricey. The service though left a bit to be desired. We were seated quickly and waited a bit for waiter. Waiter took our drink order, then apps and mains. Never saw him again. Others delivered apps and mains. We finished and talked for about 15 minutes when we realized no one had gotten our dishes or asked for dessert. We were able to get someone else and asked for our waiter. He asked if we had got our bill. We said no and he went and got our bill. We never got offered dessert, refills, or anything. Not sure where the waiter went to. He was just gone. Up to that part, meal was going pretty well. Tacos app were great - best part of meal. The jerky and tartare were ok. Not the beat we have had. Sides were a bit blah. We had 3 Filet’s. 2 medium rare and 1 medium. They were not cooked correctly. Medium rare were overcooked and Medium undercooked. Still ok but not the best.

And they messed up on the temperatures of the steaks

Forget your concept of Kosher restaurant. This is a special place. It does have one common factor relevant in all kosher restaurants. Very expensive but at least it is unique.

The steak is high-quality and the service is pretty good. Hope this restaurant to have some light-weight sides on their menu rather than a large bowl of string beans that worths $13 :)

This was by far the worst steak house I have ever been to. From a steak and sushi perspective. The selections from the sea was the same basic fish you would find at a local cheap sushi place. Farmed salmon, tuna, etc. the rolls were nothing to write home about. The hamachi crudo. (They call it yellow tail carpaccio) I say it’s crudo because carpaccio is usually paper thin. That was nice with the yuzu juice on top. Now let’s talk abut this the meat. Dry Aged over 45 days. I don’t buy it . The $109.00 16 oz wagyu strip was a special. It was tough. No fat, bleeding, didn’t have that dry aged “funk” you look for and tough to cut. When I say bleeding I mean the steak was cooked at the temp I asked for. Dry aged steaks lose their blood due to the aging process and this was a pretty fresh steak. The $46.00 burger with gold flakes was OK. I suggest they focus on the quality of the meat instead of the luxe factory. Filet was sent back. Cooked to temp asked. It was tough and chewy. (Not what expect with a filet) and ribeye was gross and sent back. The wagyu was not sent back as everyone was starving and picked at that and it was the best of the worst. It’s like they took choice beef from local supermarket and tried to pawn it off as aged prime. The place is stunning and the service was excellent. Too bad as I have passed by reserve cut many times intrigued. In this neighborhood you can throw a rock and hit other steakhouses. Dakota, Bobby vans, capital grille, and delmomicos. This is a kosher steak house so are no dairy products. I was impressed with the mashed potatoes, and mushrooms. The Jerky was gross and the flat bread was OK. We ordered a lot. Again. Beautiful place but the meat was just terrible along with the sushi. Bummed out. Had such high hopes

Ordered the special 24oz stake and waiter made mistake and brought us another smaller stake (think 18oz) not to compare in taste and in size.. When we were trying to ask to have it replaced to what originally ordered at first another waiter did it gladly for us but after few minutes someone from the kitchen came out and made me and my wife feel really bad for having them throw away the old stake that was brought to us by the waiters mistake which the waiter admitted.

Dined at this lovely kosher steakhouse for a birthday lunch during NYC Restaurant Week. It’s a destination restaurant whether you keep kosher or not! Appetizer of carrot soup garnished with sliced almonds was creamy and perfectly seasoned, and served in a bowl with a modern shape which added to the celebratory atmosphere. Warm, crusty, soft French bread and compound garlic spread were delicious. Fish entree with red wine sauce was cooked to the perfect temperature with tasty balance of flavors. One of us asked for more sauce which the server brought. Accompanying duo of potato discs were seasoned well and had excellent crunch. (Needed one more disc!) Veggies were delicious but filled only a soup spoon’s worth. (Needed half again the amount.) The star of the meal was the trio of fruit sorbets. Excellent service as well!

The place looks fabulous but the food was an utter disappointment. I ordered the rib-eye steak. The plating was less than elegant with a side that was not only tasteless but also not pleasant to the eye. I expected a nice-looking layout of the food that was served. The meat was blunt and the lack of accompanying textures, colours, and tastes was sorely felt. My husband ordered the fish plate, which was undercooked and not fresh, to say the least.
