    Excellent food, good service, beautiful decor and location. Would like more help with parking, it was difficult to find and they didn’t offer any discounts, at $4.00/hour.

    Our 3rd time eating at Mamey, and it did not disappoint (never has)! Food is excellent, cocktails are delicious & wait staff attentive. It’s on the loud side, but not overbearing.

    We ate inside and regretted it almost immediately. The noise level was so loud, the three of us had a hard time having a conversation. The table beside us resorted to screaming and I heard more of their conversation than ours. Food was good and service was helpful, but we should have moved outside.

    At the last minute we had to expand our reservation for two to 15. They have a pre fixe menu option that was perfect for our group, including vegetarians, plus, without a hitch, they accommodated a food allergy. Whether a dinner for two or a large group, I highly recommend Mamey!

    Our server was AMAZING!!! He was a total gentleman and a superior professional from the moment my son and I walked in. Later we connected on the passing of our Moms and I knew I was meant to be there that night for the peace he gave me. It made an already great dining experience through a somber time, more meaningful. Thank You!!! 🙏 💛

    Mamey's is one of the best patio dining spots in South Miami. Big, open, breezy. We come here frequently and normally they are a straight five rating but last night we ordered the Autum Farro Salad with baby kale and it was served with baby spinach. The kitchen assured our server (who was excellent) that it was baby kale. It was a perfectly fine salad but definitely not kale. Concerning to have a salad chef not know the difference.

    We started our evening at the rooftop bar. Waleska our server was amazing along with the drinks and ambiance. Mamey did not disappoint either! Our service was impeccable and our meals were so delicious. I love Mamey

    Excellent restaurant, thought the service could've been a bit better. Niven Patel has infused the food with his wonderful take on fusion, Caribbean at this one. The prices are on the high side (not that surprising for Miami), nice atmosphere. Overall, I'm a bigger fan of his Indian restaurant Ghee, one of our faves in town.

    The music is way too loud. You can’t have a normal conversation. This is not the place to go with friends, since you can’t talk. Too bad because the food and service is always outstanding.

    Food was amazing! Service was okay. The server kept dropping things and took our utensils when it came to dessert. Ambiance was great and parking was only 6 dollars Update: I was charged way more money than what i signed for. This is fraud. Will NOT return here again

    Second time here. Service and staff are friendly accommodating and helpful. Decor is really nice and the food was universally excellent. Consistency is always indicative of a quality place and this place is up there with the best.

    made a reservation waited 30 mins just to get told i have to sit outside. and this isn’t a restaurant worth sitting outside as there is no view other than that of the residences walking their dogs about 20 feet from your table. food left much to be desired it was mid at best. drinks were good which now i see why they were continuously offering them to angry customers.

    If you value your $, don’t come here. We are regulars at their sister restaurant Ghee and been wanting to experience this place expecting the same quality - NOT. We were 2 couples and ordered the “Family Style” (aka We’re going to steal your $$ at $60 each) Miami Spice menu. Expecting that the Family Style meant per couple - we basically got 4 appetizers and 4 “Entrees” for the 4 of us. It wasn’t per family. Although the food was good, the portions are tapa style - even the entrees- and not worth the money they are charging. If the Family Style meant per couple that may have been different- I mean the couple we were with weren’t even family ;-). The entrees came 45 minutes after our appetizers, they came out cold and after complaining all we received was a “sorry”. A round of 4 drinks was $100 and we even had to point out they forgot our cherries in our Old Fashions. So if you want tapa style portions, meh cocktails and mediocre service and spend $500 - then this is a place for you!

    Overall, disappointed by the service. Food was good and ambience was great, but not sure I’d come back. When I arrived for my 7:30pm reservation, no one was at the front desk. One other woman was waiting in front of me as well. Several employees walked by and looked at us but didn’t mention a word, offer help or ask how they could be of service. By the time we were seated, the server didn’t take our meal request until after maybe 20 minutes (there were only 4 or 5 other groups and plenty of open table that evening, so not very busy). Once we ordered, another server stopped by and asked if we had ordered the Miami Spice menu because we had ordered the grilled cheese. We had no idea the Miami Spice menu was available so were surprised to learn that was an option. I wish our server had mentioned it or suggested it when we were seated. Our food also took unusually long to arrive, which added to the already disappointing experience. I used to love this place, but wouldn’t recommend to those looking for a date or night out. I hope it improves!

    I have been to Mamey several times and it never disappoints! We did the Miami Spice Lunch menu. It is awesome because you get to taste a little bit of everything. The grilled cheese is amazing, the fish with the coconut curry is m favorite. The pad Thai is delicious. For dessert the Jamaican rum cake is a must. The food is amazing and ambiance is very nice.

    Excellent food and service. My server was an argentian guy and he provided a very good service. 60$ per person for the full experience was a very good choice and portions were enough. Will come back 100%.

    Well, we had Miami Spice. I have brought 7 people to dinner there on separate occasions. On 9/18 you didn’t have the summer watermelon salad. I was told they didn’t have it, they had a fall salad, but it isn’t fall yet. I told the hostess I wanted a rum cake with a candle because we were celebrating a birthday, she said she would tell the server and I also told the server. NO candle no birthday celebration NOTHING! It wasn’t even crowded last night so staff just screwed up or didn’t care!
