Here at Toby Carvery Lympstone, we believe there's only one way to do our beloved British roast – and that's properly. Every spud is checked by hand and ruffled for extra crunch. All of our meat is slow-cooked and basted to succulent perfection. And our Yorkshires are freshly made in our kitchens and served crisp, fluffy and piping-hot to your plate. That's what makes us the home of the roast.

Used to use to Nutwell Lodge in many occasions prior to Toby taking over. Has now lost all its style and class and is a typical mass produced, unatmospheric Toby Carvery. Tables very cramp, gave up waiting for a waiter so ordered at the bar, 2 joints missing, veg section half potatoes, carving chef (lady) was sour BUT for the price you pay I guess you can’t moan! Just a shame the Nutwell has lost its style and is no longer a special place to go.

We were very impressed and have already been passing that information around. Well done, The Nutwell.
Thank you.

Terrible experience this time. They didn't have the reservation (not strictly their fault). Received the smallest amount of meat had to ask for more. As did customers in front and behind.. Usually a very good experience. Hoping for better in future.
