Mezze
Saturday - Sunday : 4pm - close
As always, food and service were wonderful. Tasting menu is 100% great choice
Food was AMAZING! They offered some items I had never seen or had before.
The tasting menu was amazing ! This is my go to spot when I’m in Baltimore. Never fails.
First time here, food was great. Drinks really good and very cozy place. Love the ambience.
Mezze is a real delight to dine at with friends or family anytime. Great food, friendly service pleasant ambiance, what more can one ask for?
Food was tasty, but prepared for very small portions. Price was not too crazy, and great ambience, but the service was somewhat lacking. Barely saw my waiter
Awesome food. Friendly people. But they forgot we had a reservation - 30 minutes after we checked in we were still sitting at the bar and the waiter admitted he forgot about us. Then dinner took literally 3 hours - no refilled water, or bread, slow delivery of food, and no apologies. We left so disappointed with the service that it was hard to focus on the quality of the food. :(
Food was great but the service was terrible. The restaurant wasn’t that busy either. They also added a 20% gratuity on for a table of 5 so be aware of not adding extra tip unless you really want to. The decor is fun and there are more tables upstairs.
I was with a group of four, and our waiter recommended what were the nest sellers. We had hummus and pita bread as an appetizer, as well as one order of the lentils. Both were delicious. One person in our group is a vegetarian, and there were plenty of choices for her to choose from. All our choices were delicious including the orzo, fried calamari, asparagus (although this was a little over cooked for my tastes), the eggplant, braised beef, lamb chops, ravioli, and the spinach pies. Our menu choices were delicious. We completed our meal with baklava, which was delicious, and not overly sweet.
I would return without hesitation.
Went to this place because they were a tapas restaurant and we just wanted small plates. Sat at the bar as it was very nice outside. Getting the bad out of the way, I really do not like those goblet wine glasses. Even with table wine, it just seems wrong not using a proper wine glass, but a lot of tapas places do it so... Had the mezzas which was hummus, tzatziki and one made with eggplant which has various names depending on where you are (baba ganoush?). They all were pretty good, although they have some pretty good competition with some other places I have been. The grilled calamari was an excellent dish which when done well have you glad they didn't fry it! So they have this salmon dish they say has people coming back. It is a honey barbeque roasted salmon. So the consistency is like roasted salmon pieces which to my taste buds are incredibly sweet and take away from the salmon. It almost makes you wish they had just smoked it with the sauce and it would have been better. There were a number of other items to try on the menu and I do look forward to trying other items as they do have a respectable selection.
The food is great, as usual, but the service was soooooo slow. We had 7:30 reservations & got the tasting menu. At 9:15, we had still failed to get our 3rd course, had plans out so we told them to keep it.
This was a great dinner stop during our short trip to downtown Baltimore. Will return on our next trip!
Food was great as was the service. Everyone was super nice. The food was great we happened upon this luckily and it all worked out with our schedules. Would go back if I got back to the Baltimore area again.
This restaurant always delivers great food at reasonable prices. It has a large tapas menu of excellently prepared dishes. Make sure this place is on your must see list.
I've had their tasting menu twice. I think it is an excellent bargain and you get to sample a little bit of a lot of things. We all agreed that we liked the start of the meal, the tsatsiki, hummus, pita, village salad and then the eggplant, stuffed grape leaves and the spinach pie the best. The spinach was the best of the three baked samples. The meal section was good but portions small, after all the other food it was fine to keep it small. I only ate shrimp (I"m a pescaterian). One person said some of the chicken was fatty, I wish the potatoes weren't served under the meat and the veggie pieces on the skewers are tiny but overall the flavors are good. We all agreed also that we didn't really care for the crab cakes and didn't think the belonged on a Greek menu but are just a nod to local cuisine. I would like it if they included some roasted greek potatoes or you could have more shrimp or lamb and no crab. Dessert was very moist and tasty baklava with a little bit of fruit. We also had the white sangria, it was refreshing but had no fruit in it. I would recommend this restaurant. All the food, minus liquor, was $29 per person.
All was well until my wife found a dead flying her glassof wine. Everything should have been comped, only the drinks..🤔
This is some of the best food I’ve had in Baltimore! My husband and I went for restaurant week and got to try practically everything on the menu and it was all delicious! I DESPISE eggplant and yet somehow I loved the eggplant they made! I tried a ton of stuff I didn’t know what it was and it was still amazing. I could recommend a place more, and the ambiance is just adorable. Lots of privacy and little flowers in the windows. Perfect for a date, family get together, dinner with friends or happy hour- perfect for everything!
very small portions for the money. Not a good value
Seemed like they were extremely short staffed. Made for a poor experience.
I didn't think the food was very good. My boyfriend got the tiny "Chicken Skewers" and I tried to bite into the chicken and it was like rubber. Horrible. I got salmon in barbecue sauce, and it was these little tiny blocks of salmon in a little dish with barbecue sauce. Can't say that I loved it.
Food was good, but service is as slow as they come
We enjoyed a splendid dinner of smal plates at Mezze, ranging from starters of hummus and Greek salad to a finish with dessert. We enjoyed some plates more than others. Outstanding choices included the baby lamb chops, crab cakes, and Greek salad. Less satisfying choices included the hummus and grilled shrimp, which were grainy and dry respectively. Service on this particular evening was friendly, but a little slow.
The summer restaurant week menu was delicious! We enjoyed getting to try so many small plates rather than ordering a larger meal. The drinks were wonderful but pricy. The service was fair. We waited for our last course for about an hour without a server even coming by our table. Service could definitely be improved upon during the dinner rush. Overall a good experience. I would definitely return!
Wonderful! Exceeded my expectations in every way. Food was delicious. Staff was attentive and helpful. Enjoyed the overall experience!
Selected Mezze to visit during restaurant week and they did it Right! I have not stopped talking about my experience since my visit! Very clean, spacious, beautiful view, great service and Great Food! Ever visit a restaurant where Everything on the menu is Great - me either, until Mezze. From the ginger Margarita all the way through to desert. Great place for a date, special occasion, after work meetup... Too bad I couldn't adjust the size of the pictures I took to share. I will definitely be back!! Thank You.
Food was exceptional and service was wonderful! Can’t wait to go back.
Service was slow and inattentive on a Wednesday night. Food was ok but not worth the wait. Won’t be back.
Great value. Sangria is lovely. Tapas portions create opportunity to try many offerings. Warm and friendly. Impeccable service. We enjoyed a more quiet table on second floor. I recommend.
This place is okay, we were hoping for something more. The menu is very standard "Greek" fare, but portioned as "small plates" which means too expensive for what you get. Hummus and baba ghanouj were rather poor, most other dishes were fine but unexceptional. Best were the spinach pies and the potato croquettes. Upstairs was relatively quiet, which was nice.
Great location in Fells Point. Service was outstanding and the beet salad and lamb meatballs were completely over the top. Can’t wait to go back.
It was loud and we felt rushed on a Saturday night. There were empty tables upstairs so I suspect they were short staffed. The tasting menu offered a reasonable value for typical Greek restaurant type dishes.
Great good! Great deal with tasting menu!
Perfect. Great food, fun time
Food was surprisingly good. Service was surprisingly corky. Although we are customed to small plates coming out in some kind of order rather than 5 dishes beinf plopped on all the ones, the food really was enjoyable. Calamari was excellent and the octopus salad was very tasty. Beet salad was excellent and the lamb was very good. Just felt that the service was very odd other than the owner coming by to ask us how everything was. Overall it was a very good meal and we would return but definitely would request being upstairs rather than downstairs next to the bar where they seated us.
Sat for 14 minutes. Wait staff walking by. No one stopped. No water, no orders. We walked out.
Vasillio and Octavio are just perfect at their jobs. Impeccable service, beautiful wine suggestions and a great overall experience.
Tasting menu on offer was superb! Included one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. Mango martini out of this world! Everything was 5 star!
Came here for our 43rd wedding anniversary dinner and we're overwhelmingly pleased with the restaurant the service the food the ambience and everything about it. The owner and Alex were extraordinary kind and worked with me to surprise my wife with my beautiful gifts delivered at the dinner table
Highly recommend. Food was awesome as was the service. I’d def go back.
There are many options for small plates! (I think the menu is vegetarian-friendly). Mood and atmosphere were really nice (classic and friendly). I strongly recommend this restaurant for a great place for dinner in Fells Point in Baltimore.
