It was my first time and I had a lovely time. Service was friendly and food was great.

Everything was great. Only thing worth mentioning is that we sat at a booth. The floor under the booth table was raised higher than a normal booth anywhere else. This resulted in your legs/knees sitting much higher than normal. Got used to it and it wasn't a huge deal but overall was not too comfortable.

I arranged to have my birthday dinner with my family at Blue Ridge Grill. They had our table beautifully decorated upon arrival and a special menu printed with Happy Birthday on the top of the menu with my name. Very nice touch. The food was excellent as always. Their menu has enough variety that there is something for everyone. I had the trout and it was cooked to a perfect texture. Most of my guests had a steak and they were all cooked to perfection. Of course we ordered the corn soufflé as a side dish. The service was impeccable. Very attentive wait staff and everyone's food was cooked to order and arrived at the same time. My celebration was topped off with a decadent slice of Blue Ridge Ice Cream pie complements of the restaurant. Thank you Blue Ridge Grill for a special birthday celebration!

Thanks for providing a wonderful anniversary experience. It started with a “Happy Anniversary “ greeting when we checked in, and continued through dessert. The food was fabulous and the service impeccable.

Everything was A+ except for the super-loud patrons at the table next to us. HORRIBLE!

A wonderful restaurant for a delicious dinner to celebrate a special occasion or to have a quiet dinner. the menu has something for everyone and if you are lucky enough to sit at one of Shannon's tables your dining experience will be perfect.

My favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Perfect for lunch with a friend, family, or business. Amazing food, best gumbo and crab cakes in town, and exceptional service. Highly recommended.

Nice relaxed atmosphere with a very attentive staff and decent food. Wine prices very reasonable and food prices a little high for portions served. Great place to go relax w/ friends to enjoy drinks and food.

Blue Ridge was just as good as I remember. Very nice service paced as you request. Appreciate the great cocktails to start the meal. It was a birthday dinner and the table had some low key decorations. The smoked salmon was excellent. As was the georgia trout. Complementary birthday cake delivered for dessert.

There are not enough adjectives to describe how good the Blue Ridge Grill is. Roglynn took care of and she was AWESOME! The meal was excellent and we all had a very enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend the Blue Ridge Grill.

First Bad Meal and Poor Sercice in Many Years. My wife and I had dinner 2 nights ago to celebrate her birthday. Restaurant was notified of special occasion at time of reservation, and table had some minimal birthday confetti (not to the same extent as prior bday occasions). My meal was poor: crab cake appetizer was room temp and tasteless, bland sauce; entree
special, sea bass, was over-cooked and fish had a bad, stale flavor — inedible. Server removed entree charge from check. The “birthday girl” reported that her beet salad was wonderful and mountain trout entree was good.

Service was slow throughout the meal and at check time. Aside from minimal table decoration, no acknowledgment was made of birthday occasion that either of us could recall. Neither of us is fond of loud/showy/singing demonstration by serving staff, but this was minimalist to the point of rudeness. Going forward, we will celebrate special occasions elsewhere.

Everything about our experience from the valet to the bar to the service to the most important - food - was spot on. I had enjoyed dinner here several years ago but somehow just hadn't returned; I won't let that happen again! Lots of fish on the menu; I had lobster bisque followed by the snapper entree, both were delicious. Other selections looked really good, it was hard to choose. Pay them a visit and find out!

Great first impression from greeting to special care and attention and recommendations for dinner to grand finale of ice cream pie! First night for octopus carpaccio (delish and beautifully displayed)! Beet salad was excellent and halibut was a treat! Wonderful experience! Hope to return during next visit to the Smyrna area...

Blue Ridge Grill has a wonderful atmosphere - hard to describe but it always feels comfortable but not too casual, warm and inviting, great service, fun area for cocktails with antique decor, and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointing. After seeing its good reviews and menus, my husband and I decided to give this restaurant a try with our friend who was visiting from overseas for a special celebration, instead of taking him to Atlas where we loved. After all, it’s about the same number of $$ as Atlas and I expected that the quality of food and service (not the ambiance) would be somewhat comparable. It was our first time there and I noted special occasion in my OpenTable dinner reservation for Saturday at7:30pm. We checked in, the hostess asked us to wait a few minutes. While waiting near the hostess podium, I looked around and noticed quite a few white-clothed tables and white-clothed booths that are open. After about 10 minutes, the hostess led us to a table at a booth. Very soon I realized where we were seated was the only section of booth tables in the restaurant that do not have the white table cloths. Later my way to and back from the restroom, I noticed that besides us three Asians that were seated at the no-white-table-cloth booth table, another couple, a black young man and a white woman were also seated in the same section, two boothes behind us. No any other customers besides us five. We all dressed very “smart casual,” as the restaurant recommended, and may be even much “smarter” and more nicely dressed with dresses than many other white folks at many other tables in the center of the room and by the windows, some of whom wore shorts. It made me wondering why we were the only ones who were seated at there; I couldn’t help but wonder about their art of seating customers. About the occasion of celebration, neither the hostess at check-in or while she was leading us to the table or our waiter later on asked us anything about the occasion. Waiter was friendly but talked better did less. Filet Mignon was too dark and crusted, asparagus bottoms were too tough to chew. For quality of food and service and the price of the menu, it didn’t live up to its review stars.

Our dinner was excellent in every way. Our server was attentive, the meal was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very inviting.

Seafood Pasta and the chocolate torte dessert were very good.
Lamb chops excellent.

Had the chopped Blue Ridge Grill salad with two chicken breasts added, one grilled and one fried. Also with bacon. And the best corn soufflé you will ever taste.

I’ve been to this spot too many times to name. One of my favorites. They earn five stars every time.

We were having lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. Roland did an excellent job as server. The food was delicious, especially the corn and lady peas......excellent! The birthday dessert outdid everything, of course! Blue Ridge Grill is our absolute favorite place to have birthday lunch!

Food and service absolutely outstanding. There may well be a place or two in Atlanta as good, but definitely none better.

We took a family member to Blue Ridge Grill to celebrate his birthday. The customized menu wishing him happy birthday was a special touch and a great start to the evening. Our server forgot to put in our order for raw oysters, but she recovered from there and worked hard to make it a very enjoyable evening.

The ambience is that of a mountain lodge, so if you're looking for shiny and loud, this isn't your place. If you're looking for a place with an upscale rustic ambience where you can have a conversation without screaming and a menu that is loaded with great choices, BR Grill is your place.

The menu had no less than four fish choices on it from mountain trout (of course) to red snapper (delicious) to halibut and branzino. They had scallops, pasta, at least two or three steak choices, lamb and chicken dishes and wonderful choices of sides, such as collard greens and ladyfinger peas. I have been twice recently and still haven't finished exploring the menu like I want to.

We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and the table decorations as well as the HUGE and delicious ice cream cake dessert were a BIG hit! Todd did an excellent job of taking care of us! Many thanks!

I thought the food was quite good, with a few small issues...the Caesar salad was not special and the croutons seemed out of a box. I wish I had ordered a different salad choice. The fish entrees were expensive and portions were too small. My husband said he would have complained but we were entertaining. The entree flavors were very good however. I hope they will add a bit more to the plates next time!

Great meal - the tuna tartare and the trout were delicious. Extensive wine list with lots of interesting choices and good price points. Service was wonderful. Will definitely return!

We were greeted and seated promptly. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The service and food were very good. It was our birthday, and the table cloth was decorated...quite lovely, and we were treated to dessert.

we live an hour away and we STILL make BRG our go to place for special occasions. If we were closer we would go more often!

Blue Ridge is a favorite of mine. Service is always wonderful. The menu has interesting choices and food is delicious. It’s on the higher end but worth it. My pork chop was slightly over cooked this time. This was the first time ever that my meal wasn’t perfectly cooked. Wonderful for a special occasion or a date night. When it’s on the menu, their lobster bisque is amazing!!

This was my best experience to date at Blue Ridge Grill! We celebrated my birthday with some friends, and BRG made it such a special experience! Service was amazing, food was exquisite!!
