Always a pleasurable meal and evening. Consistent quality meals every time.
What a jewel! First time dining here and it was fantastic. Food was very good. Our party had the southern fried chicken, salmon, shrimp and scallops. All dishes were delicious and well presented. One con would be that the scallop dish was a bit skimpy (only 4 scallops) for the price. That was disappointing given that the other meals were generous in size. The service was absolutely incredible--best I have had anywhere! Very attentive and made sure our needs were well taken care of throughout the meal. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Restaurant is unusual and good. I’ve been several times
And the food is good but this time
The shrimp and grits were over cooked
The service and food is always superb. Sabastian is the best. Ask to sit in his section when you are there.
Nice small gem nearby. Might become my go-to. Went early so not so busy or loud. Fried chicken and carrot cake were great!
Third time was another charm. In town for a dog show and went back to our "go to" favorite. Another great meal in a quiet setting with delicious food. We wish they were a chain and had one in Nashville. Great "southern" food, but with tastes from fine restaurants around the world.
Secreto is an amazing restaurant. Their ambiance, service, and quality of food is always consistly amazing. Definitely recommended!
We have been to this restaurant many times and are never disappointed. Can be a bit noisy but the outside patio is just fine
The entrees were first class, tasty and well presented. Scallops were excellent as was the salmon and red fish. The crab bisque was among the best I have ever had. Spinach strawberry salad was light and refreshing with just the right touch of dressing. Also impressed with the wine list. The only quibble is with the desserts. Too heavy as a finish after the entrees which can be on the heavy side. Something simple, like sorbet or gelato or a simple cake would have been welcome. Small quibble, though. everything else was wonderful. So happy to have found this place to add to the small number of suburban restaurants that serve quality dishes.
This is our second time visiting here. We had two orders of fried chicken and one entrée of salmon. Everything was absolutely wonderful.
Three of us had tenderloin medallions and were pleased. Excellent flavor. One of us had scallops over shrimp risotto. Serving three scallops is a bit stingy. However, the risotto was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We first ordered cocktails and sent two back because of being overly sweet. Our server graciously exchanged them and the manager apologized for that when he approached our table to make sure everything was to our liking. We shared a flourless chocolate tort with the tiniest scoop of ice cream on top, enough for one ice cream lover. The place is cozy and unassuming in simple elegance. Just wish prices were a little more reasonable. And you the way, although each entree comes with a vegetable and a potato (small portions of each), everything else is extra, including bread. Service was excellent.
Fantastic meals: generous portion chicken with jalapeño gravy, rockfish with light andouille crust, scallops, followed with a lovely warm piece of carrot cake! Very friendly staff and general manager. Leisurely warm atmosphere in which we could hear our conversations.
Monday night date night with my beautiful wife. We sat outside and were the only ones out there. They played an awesome song playlist and the music wasn’t too loud or too soft... just right. The shrimp and grits were awesome as was the fried chicken dinner.
We enjoyed our first visit. We sat at the bar b/c we enjoy the activity and people watching. We split the crab cake appetizer and it was really great. not a lot of "filler/breading". Our entrees were delicious: the Andouille Crusted Redfish and the Grilled Lemon Basil Jumbo Shrimp. Service was accessible, although had a little bit of a sluggish start and one bartender seemed too overly focused on a group of apparent regulars who were partying at the bar, but not a big deal in the scheme of things. I mean, great regular customers are the bread and butter of a neighborhood restaurant. Good wine pairing recommendation. Over all, a nice convenient restaurant with really good food and a pleasant ambiance. Will definitely go back.
This was our second visit to Secreto. The four of us skipped the appetizers in favor of salads. High marks to the kitchen, we split a wedge salad and the kitchen rearranged the salad into two 1/2 wedge salads. Very impressive and very tasty. For entrees - two chickens, one pork loin, one salmon. All very good. All were artful arranged. Nothing left on the plates.
Tables are well spaced and attractive dark wood with candles. The manager was on the ball. Moving and soothing. Our server was not. Maybe her main job is bartender, that is where she spent her time. Nothing worse than the evening winding down and having to search for the bill.
Also we had a couple of the specialty drink; maybe a little pricey, but not offensively so, an just maybe, because they were really good.
Noise level was fine. We could hear each other, but there was other stuff going on in the room.
Go back as often as possible.
This was a find. Great food -friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere
We've Visited several times and always enjoy our experience. My Wife loves the Fried Chicken (with extra jalapeño gravy please!) and I really like the Andouille Crusted Redfish. Our Young (compared to Us anyway) Server was Friendly, Attentive, and Prompt. Another Great Experience. Thank You Secreto!
It was just okay. Price didn't match the expectations
Just an excellent place to go for a nice meal and drinks.
Excellent find using the Open Table app. Two people in our group ordered the fried chicken (which is a house specialty) and loved it. I ordered the pork chops, which were equally impressive. The sides are very complementary to the entrees. I will be returning on a future trip to Alpharetta.
Excellent food, service
Chose this restaurant because it was right around the corner from hotel. Loved the “neighborhood” feel. Waitstaff and host very attentive and friendly. Food was outstanding. Highly recommend. Prices are spot on for quality and servings.
Amazing. Our waiter Sebastion was on it! The owner Paulo (?) was very attentive to everyone. The food presentation was beautiful and so good . Best ever in Alpharetta. Don’t let the outside fool you, 5 star restaurant all the way.
After 20 minutes done eating waiter never offered desserts, after-dinner drinks or coffee. Owner showed up during meal and was very nice.
Tuesday lunch and glad I had a resv. for 12:30, packed. Excellent salmon, fried chicken, bang bang shrimp and carrot cake. I would go back again and again. Service was slower than expected getting orders to table.
This restaurant deserves its great reviews. The food and service were first class. We enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and dinner that were all wonderful. The restaurant was so good that we went bad again a week later.
Chef Boyd never disappoints with his very seasoned and tasty food! The fried chicken was absolutely delicious and extremely filling. But, of course we made room for the awesome carrot cake for dessert.
Service was great and the food and drinks were marvelous. We will be back very soon
Amazing food, drinks, and service as always!
Food good as usual. This was the second time I ordered Salmon to be cooked rare - did not happen. It was good and thoroughly prepared but not as I wanted it. I will be back because this is a really lovely place - maybe next time I'll say raw.
Amazing food and pleasing ambiance. We wanted to try out this place for a while. Went for a casual Friday lunch with my sis-in-law. The fried chicken and veggie sandwich were amazing. Staff was very polite and service was great. Will go back soon to try other items on the menu.
Service was excellent, best fried chicken I have had in a long time.
Wonderfully inventive food and reasonable prices for what it is, especially at lunch. Great service and the most amazing carrot cake ever.
2nd time I have eaten here in the past few weeks. Really quite amazing. I really enjoyed everything about it. Fried chicken is great!!!!
Creative cuisine although dinner menu was somewhat limited upon first glance. Upon closer inspection, no two items were the same and all items ordered were fabulous. They were also willing to modify the selections for preference or allergies.
This is my new favorite in the Alpharetta area! Jose has done a wonderful job with Chef Boyd. The selections are awesome - I've not had anything yet that I didn't love. Service has always been great. The restaurant size and style reminds me of what you find in big cities like Chicago. This is my new go-to for business, family and date night!
Thankfully- I was with a close friend I hadn’t seen in a while. That made up for my not being all that impressed.
I’m not hard to please. I just like to feel “Wow”. And it just wasn’t there. Nothing new or memorable. Barely ⭐️⭐️1/2
One of the reasons I wanted to visit this restaurant was their hype about the best fried chicken. My idea of great fried chicken is a nice breast, thigh or leg coated with a nice non-greasy coating. This chicken was a piece of breast pounded flat, breaded and fried. The breading was very good, but I was really disappointed with the way it was served. My husband had salmon which he said was very good. The drinks were very skimpy for the price. Service was very friendly and attentive.
Absolutely fabulous food from start to finish. Fantastic server, Sebastian. Best table for 2 is by front corner window (lowest noise). We will be back and bring people with us. A true gem, kudos to the chef
Bar is a little sketchy. A lot of unknown or small brands. I want a quality cocktail, not an experiment.
