Made a reservation for 8:15 and didn’t get seated until 9...great food though
We experienced a little trouble with our dinner reservation. We reserved an outside table and arrived on time. The hostess informed us that the three people who were sitting there "should be leaving soon." In fact, they ended up occupying that table for well over three hours! Talk about clueless. We hope they tipped generously for staying long past the end of their meal because servers can't make any money if the tables don't turn over. Anyway, after we waited for an hour hoping the party would vacate, the hostess gave us a table inside. Unfortunately we knew dining inside to be super-noisy which it certainly was; that's why we reserved a table outside in the first place. I'm not really blaming Storico for this one but thought it was worth a mention.
As usual, storico did not disappoint. Our meal was fantastic-the lasagna and the shrimp pesto pasta were amazing!
WOW!!!! What an incredible and amazing restaurant! This is a must visit if you love Italian Food. DO NOT pass up an opportunity to try this place!
Great hidden gem I have wanted to try fir a while. My date commented that the food wad great!
Great dining experience, as always!
The food here is excellent, however, it is so noisy you can not have a conversation with the person at your table without having to yell. I would buy food from their market and get take out, if they offer. We have been here twice and it was even louder that the first time.
It's to bad because the food here is excellent, but we will never go there again.
Wonderful pastas made in house with creative sauces. Good value for money.
We love your restaurant!!! Everything was delicious!
The best! Enough said! Pasta with Truffles is world class!
Wonderful as always!
I could not
Use my Open Table coupon I got based on points and I do not understand why nor could the restaurant explain. I was very disappointed with that.
Incredible meal, awesome service, fabulous wine. I would not go anywhere else in town for Italian food!!
We started with a fresh salad with a sweet dressing. The bolognese with noodles was delicious. We also enjoyed crispy bread dipped in olive oil we flavored with red pepper. To top it off we ordered and inhaled the light, creamy tiramisu.
I always enjoy my meal! The lasagne is amazing!
Great service. Amazing food. Perfect place to feel the vibe of atlanta.
Our waiter, Kasey, was great and made excellent recommendations. The food was delicious and fairly priced. I highly recommend this place if you like quality pasta!
As always, an excellent experience. Daniel was our waiter and he's one of the best in customer service, attentiveness, and knowledge. We took my mom for her 80th birthday and he did everything he could to make it a special evening for all of us.
Service was very slow for the second time.
Food was good but it's just so so so loud. Not fun.
Food was good but business transaction took away from experience.
Absolute best restaurant in Atlanta! This place is exciting yet comfortable, and the owners love getting to know their guests. Sure to become an Atlanta classic.
We had a great meal and incredible service by Dan! Even walked out with some of the amazing items they offer fro their fridges stocked with an assortment of Italian favorites. We went as a family but noticed many dates and several big groups at their amazing Che’s tables in the kitchen area
Standoffish waiter. Food was not what we expected. Certainly won’t go back.
Pasta was fabulous, service was great but it was a bit noisy. All good will definitely go again and again 🍷🍷
Storico Fresco is probably my favorite Italian restaurant in Atlanta. The food is classic Italian executed beautifully. I’ve never had a bad dish here. If you’re new to place try the fried squash blossoms as an appetizer, the Ceci Linguine mushroom pasta, and/or the Branzino. Drinks are great too, try the Gin & Jam!
Our waiter should take waiter lessons. Good food can be ruined by bad service.
Always great food and atmosphere at storico. Pasta always perfect
One of the true authentic restaurants in Atlanta. Always great service and amazing food.
Everything on the menu here looked and tasted amazing. They also sell pre-packaged servings of their most popular options to take home with you. The space is on the loud side, be we sat outside which was nice. They also have a lively bar. Really an amazing experience.
Pasta was awesome. Calamari, prawns, and branzino were excellent. Great wine. Will go back.
Our favorite place in town! Our daughter Charlotte loves all the staff and they treat us like family!
Amazing freshly made Italian food. Very "energetic" ambience (quite loud) but the food is amazing. Deli and take out options available. I visit every time I am in Atlanta.
The artichoke appetizer was delicious, burnt ricotta pie for desert amazing and cavatelli al rage Di cinghiale my favorite pasta dish.
Only slightly negative comment is that it’s really loud
Loved Storico! My only complaint is that is SUPER loud. Can’t have a conversation with the people sitting at your table without yelling
Our service was awful. Our waiter pushed us to go ahead and order salads (which we did), but he didn't take our full order at that time. He promptly forgot us, forgot our salads, and forgot to get the rest of our order. We eventually waved him down and placed our entree order. They brought me the wrong salad which I ate anyway because I was starving, and my shrimp (whole with heads) were a pain to eat. It was so loud we were yelling just to hear each other. Too much competition in Atlanta to eat here again.
I had an 8:30 reservation on a Friday night. They finally seated us at a table at 9:35.
Hostess was sweet enough but speaking as someone who worked in the restaurant industry for years, my guess is they tried to seat too many walk-ins which crushed the small kitchen and in turn, caused extreme waits for people who actually had a reso like me. Small bar works well enough but when waiting for a table on a busy night, if you’re not one of the lucky ones to snag a bar seat, there is no good place to stand without being in the way. Once seated, we were starving so the server was kind enough to give us a comp appetizer for our wait. We then ordered three more apps. One never made it to our table. Entrees took 25 mins after appetizers were cleared.
I’d heard good things about the restaurant but after my first time experience in entertaining out-of-town guests, they failed to win me as a repeat customer.
Horrible service and way too noisy.
Nice menu, well prepared food using fresh ingredients; homemade cavatelli was very good. We all enjoyed our dinner. Only real negative in that tables are very close together and it's very loud - concrete floors and very high ceilings don't help to keep the noise level down. That being said, we would return to try other dishes - also their retail market which closes around 7 pm.
The food and wine are outstanding! We had one issue come up and management handled it perfectly. Can't wait to go back
