Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante
Dinner Mon-Sat :5:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Best hosteria in Atlanta. Original dishes and classics in a lively atmosphere
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was amazing, so we had to shop and take some of the delicious ingredients home for more. We are from out of town but will definitely plan to be back.
Both wine menu and food menu is amazing. Good team work with servers. It is very loud as any Italian kitchen should be.
Great food and service. The waitress was excellent and took care of very well.
We went to dinner for my
The food was great and so was our waitress. But the hostess was frustrating. We asked if we could sit at another table that was open but shetold us they were saving that table to make a larger table even though the tables on both sides of it had just sat down and we didn’t push. But less than 20 min later she sat someone at that table. we were celebrating my MIL’s birthday and would have much preferred that table or simple honesty.
It was absolutely too loud !
Between large groups and way too high sound system, conversation between the Four of us was difficult.
We spent about $250 and couldn’t talk to one another.
Love going to Storico, but advise going early or late because the noise can be deafening.
Storico Fresco is an outstanding restaurant! Excellent fresh pasta and fresh vegetables. The noise level, however, can get unbearable. As I understand it, the restaurant has made attempts to deal with this problem, but so far they are unsuccessful. The only way to avoid the noise is to have an early dinner. Go around 6:00 or 6:30. We had an outstanding server on our most recent visit who helped us select an appropriate wine and recommended a superb pasta dish. Most servers at Storico have an attitude and are full of themselves. Sorry to say that because the food is so good! This is a quality place and patrons want servers who understand the menu and will listen and make appropriate suggestions when asked. Service is an important part of a good meal out and Storico Fresco has to pay more attention to this aspect of their restaurant. But the food is good and that's why we keep returning!
This is a favorite spot to dine in or take out, love the entire staff , food and wine choices.
The last 3 times I went, the food wasn’t as good as it was when Storico first opened. Would not go back.
Food was very good. Definitely worth the cost and will without a doubt good back again.
Great food, but too noisy. Couldn’t hear ourselves talk!
My guest from out of town did not receive her meal. By the time hers came to the table we had already shared our meals w her so we had to get it to go.
Best Italian I’ve had outside of Italy. The wine list is short but exceptional and the patio is pleasant. Inside can be a little too loud at times.
Excellent food, but the appetizer took over 30 minutes (after ordering) to make it to our table.
Loved this place-great service, food and wine.
What a wonderful first visit! I was stunned by the amazing quality of my pasta. Plenty of choices for meat and non meat eaters. The meat and cheese plate featured Italian smoked meats and cheeses. Loved it. Wine prices are buckhead expensive - my only criticism. I will come back!
Love the food and service, but the music outside is too loud for conversation.
A wonderful evening & dining experience, shared w/ friends visiting from FL...everyone enjoyed! The food as always was superb!!!! Never disappointed when dining at Storico!
Food and service are always wonderful. The squash blossoms were a very special treat. Our only concern was the noise level. It was almost impossible to carry on a conversation. Everyone seemed to be shouting and that increased the noise level.
This was my second attempt here, and all of my complaints from the first time occurred the second time. For starters, the acoustics are terrible. it is extremely loud to the point that I felt I was shouting to my friends. Our waiter was very aggressive and made us feel like we had to rush to order. We were in no hurry and were catching up as we had not seen each other in a long time. Every time he came over he was pushing us to order, kept trying to force us to order bottles of wine when we each wanted individual glasses, and was just overall not very friendly. I ordered the special of the night which was gnocchi with clams for $28.00. I literally can say I got about 10 small clams, and half the shells were empty, and very little gnocchi. And the gnocchi was mushy and not the consistency that I am used to. My whole family is Italian, I have been to Italy many times, I have made gnocchi myself and this was definitely a fast food version of it. Over priced and under delivered. I think this will be my last time attempting to try out this restaurant. A Mano takes the cake when it come to specialty Italian food.
Love this place. Food is authentic Italian (you'll probably want to add salt) and the wine list is great. Noise level is high inside and it's difficult to have casual conversation at a normal tone. Service was the only real issue for me. Our server was attentive-ish...she'd stop by our table and then she'd leave for 15 minutes, rinse and repeat. Lack of charisma as well. I've been here 2x once with excellent service and once with mediocre service. I'd still recommend for a night out.
Food was good...some of the better Italian in Atlanta. VERY VERY loud on the inside it was hard to hear others at the table. Service was slow. Ask to sit outside.
So good. Lovely dinner w my grown kids. Outstanding menu and wine. Great service. A bit loud but ambience was good. Great Neighbourhood place. Of note tho, no other POC except us in the place.
This was my second time dining there. It was VERY, VERY noisy. Unable to have a conversation with a friend across the table. Service was fair. Server appeared “put off” on a few occasions. We felt rushed to close out our tab, despite 2 bottles of wine, a round of martinis, and 5 entrees. I felt disappointed especially because I arranged the evening with 4 other dear friends.
Too loud. Noise level extremely high. Food too “rich”
My wife and I absolutely love Storico! The food and ambiance are always excellent. Although, this time I did have a reservation and notated that it was Special Occasion and upon arriving they said the table was not ready and that it would be roughly 15 to 20 min. That's fine, I understand, but whats the point in notating Special Occasion if they aren't going to acknowledge it or even have your table ready for the special occasion? I will definitely go back to Storico and even tell and bring friends and family, but that was a little disappointing.
Great Half Price Wine Bottle Monday dinner. Superb pasta, wonderful rapini, good wine.
Handmade pasta is the highlight, but the pasta is slightly to the oily side and portion is not very big.
Tables too close together , too noisy for our comfort . Authentic flavorful Italian cuisine , excellent service .
We enjoyed our experience and the food was very authentic. However they really need to do something about the noise level. I felt like I was shouting across the table just to have a conversation. Way too loud.
Terrific server and fantastic food. Wine list was great too!
Everything was delicious and the staff was absolutely wonderful! Will definitely be coming back
Food is pretty good. Half of the things we ordered were above average. Service is really sub par. Our server had too many tables and they sat them all at the same time so she couldn't keep up. Our order got lost so we had to wait forever for our food. She was apologetic but it was just a sloppy experience. There are a lot better spots out there.
Excellent food that is consistently good. If you can’t go to Italy, come here
We had a nice evening. Service was pretty good--was served food twice which didn't belong to us. We poured our own wine. Server seemed a bit overwhelmed. Food was good. Very, very loud in restaurant. Hard to have a conversation without speaking loudly. We will go back though, perhaps a little earlier.
Best Italian food in Atlanta. Hands down. Nothing else comes close.
I go there for the italian food. It was really loud though, which isn't great for conversation. Luckily we were able to sit at the "bar table" near that bar that allowed us to sit close to each other. Food and wine were delicious!
Definitely the best pasta in Atlanta
