I took my mother for afternoon tea as a Mother's Day gift. We both loved it. Great variety of both tea and food. I don't know if it was worth the price to do again. But it was something to treat my mom with.
Amazing! They were so sweet to my son as well. So pleasant!
Great service
11:30 am we arrive. 11:30 we are really hungry and ask for bread to munch on before ordering. 12 Noon-- NO bread. We ask again. Waiter asks what kind of bread. By then we have ordered and the food and bread arrive at the same time. And to our dismay the food was not tasty. Shame. we had been there at Christmas and the food and service were lovely.
Atmosphere/ ambiance and service was great. It was a little slow to get the bill at the end. Overall it was a wonderful time.
Disappointing- reservation for a birthday tea well in advance— arrived early to see table that would be best for conversation- shown to a table exceedingly large for 4 people- when asked about other, intimate seating, was told ALL other tables were specifically reserved ——in the 1.5-2 hours we were there, at least 4 tables were completely empty the entire time —Also, special occasion of birthday not recognized despite specifically mentioning and the obvious presents— service minimal- although I have been 7-8 times, after these blunders, will not be back -
The food was great. Waitress was great. Kitchen was SLOW. We waited over an hour for our food.
Definitely not worth the price. Food was blah and tea was mediocre. A big disappointment.
My friends and I had a wonderful experience at the St.Regis afternoon tea. Great service, imaginative food and sweets and really good tea. Our server took the time to explain all the teas and the caffeine levels for us as well as the history of Mrs. Astor's afternoon tea tradition. They offer free valet parking which was wonderful too, my only suggestion would be to have a bench outside the lobby to sit on while you wait for your car to arrive- my friend was in a cast and it was uncomfortable for her to stand. The whole experience was great.
Ahh, civilized tea with good friends, what more could a gal want? We had a lovely time enjoying tea and the various tower of treats that accompanied our tea selection. Our severs were informed, prompt and pleasant men. There was a function going on so for a while it became a bit loud for a proper tea atmosphere but it didn’t last long so the staff must have corrected the issue in some manner. We will be back! (We didn’t love that there was a two dollar charge for valet parking with validation. It wasn’t the price that was the problem it was that we were anaware so we didn’t have correct change to tip the drivers).
For $55 a person I expected more. No champagne included. Not worth it for a pot of tea and mediocre snacks. Waiters seemed understaffed and uninterested.
We love coming to Astor Court for afternoon tea to celebrate birthdays! The service is top-notch, and the tea is wonderful!
I went to the Astor Court for my birthday luncheon. The service was so slow that tables around us just got up and left. We waited it out and our food was excellent. The ambience is simply divine. I’ve been numerous times and the service is slow but this was on the scale of embarrassing.
That was different. Happy to see the variety each month.
We received an email from AC thru Open Table on Friday that our Saturday tea reservation was "cancelled by the restaurant" with no explanation given, so we had to make plans for tea at the Four Seasons instead. My Friday phone inquiry to the AC manager was not returned until Saturday suggesting an earlier time than our original reservation. This is my first such experience ever (including New York, London, and Paris tea).
Went to Astor Court for high tea , the hotel ,the St Regis is gorgeous.
The tea selection is great. I had an amazing Vanilla Roibos tea. The menu served on the tower is new, with more health conscious food. There are adequate sandwiches, and a quiche option The sweets are multiple as well, but after you eat the savory food, you may not have room for the sweets. There was no live music, that would have been nice!
The time between tea arriving, and the tower of food was too long ( over one hour). You are provided a cherry scone while you are waiting for your tower. By the time the tower arrived, I was full on tea, the timing should be better.
The waiter in my section ,should have been more attentive, at the price of the high tea $ 55, up from $ 45 and without champagne, service should be impeccable. He told the story of High tea to the table next to mine, never to my table, and he did not serve the table when I arrived( my guest was already seated), I had to ask the hostess to send a waiter to the table.
I was a bit disappointed with this visit, having had previously great experiences at Astor Court
This is one of the nicest hotels in the city, but it didn’t feel like it on New year’s day. It was a small buffet with few choices. The best part was the cocktails and house special Bloody Mary. The omelette Bar was very good but everything else was so so. No bagels for the lox. Only crackers. No bread, really. Not enough servers.
We were looking for a bfast place where our family could relax and catch up with a special family friend. Astor Court provided the perfect atmosphere for our gathering—opportunity for conversation, unrushed and relaxing time. We made a res on Open Table and arrived 2 min ahead but the hostess was obviously unprepared for our party of 8. Our well traveled adult children were quite surprised at the level of serivce and appt for this level hotel. The food was very good (4) spinach was in omelette when requested no spinach but stuff happens; and food is was delivered together with serviers reaching inf fromt of and across our party. No one offered to take our coats so they were bunched up around us. Not a horrible thing but for this level hotel we all agree that the serivce from front door to table was noticeably less than polished.
Breakfast after seeing Santa. Group of 9, and it took about an hour for the food to come out.
Always a consistently classic Wonderful experience in all possible ways!

Astor was fine. Your parking situation—a nightmare. One of my guests was charged $15 for parking for an event. Couldn’t get it back. Too many cars and people. Embarrassing to me since invited the two as my guests. Your Astor Court manager will
Most likely help me get the money back but I don’t have time to follow up
Love coming at Christmas for the gingerbread house and all the decorations! And our attentive waiter, Harry, was the best!!
Thanksgiving buffet
Great special experience. Solid service and good. This was about the experience.
As usual the Astor Court at the St. Regis Atlanta did not disappoint. We came to celebrate my mother's birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make sure her day was recognized. The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. But really, we just came for the experience which was wonderful. We had such a fantastic time and have already made plans to return for Mom's next birthday!
We are the Atlanta Tea Party Club and this is our new favourite place
Beautiful room. Excellent cuisine. Very disappointing service. My wife and I booked for brunch on a Saturday. We received a very nice welcome to a beautiful room. The food was outstanding, but the service was terrible. We had to catch a server and request everything. This started with a spoon for coffee, then repeatedly for more water and coffee. Our empty suite and low wrappers were never removed.
My mother and I attended for afternoon tea. It was delightful. The restaurant is exclusively afternoon tea during marked times. I’ve been telling everyone how wonderful it was.
We took my goddaughter for afternoon tea for her 5th birthday. It was absolutely wonderful! Great selection of finger sandwiches and sweets, as well as teas. The service was outstanding, and the chef accommodated both gluten free and vegetarian guests in our party.
It was a delightful experience that I shared with my 5 yr. old granddaughter. She loved it
Always a nice experience, service was a little slow
While in the Atlanta area visiting my sister, she and I decided to stop for afternoon tea after having spent the day touring some of the city. We were delighted by Daniel's professional service and warm demeanor. The tea was perfectly steeped, the sandwiches carefully trimmed of their crusts creating a perfectly formed lady-like tea snack and the desserts divine. The entire staff at Astor Court was professional, welcoming and gracious. We will be back in the not too distant future.
First visit for Afternoon Tea. The service was excellent, and the food was very good to excellent (my wife was less impressed with some of the sandwiches for the money). We've only had afternoon tea a few times, but for the price, I thought it was quite nice (not as expensive as some others, but also not quite as nice). Compared to some others, the only suggestions I'd have is to provide a small dish to remove the tea at the appropriate time (it is served in ceramic pots, so by your 2nd or 3rd cup the tea has been steeping for a very long time; in other experiences we've seen them either bring the tea when it has been steeped appropriately and then pour for your, remove the tea but leave it in case you want to put it back in for a bit). The servers were all excellent. It really is enough food to count as a meal, and a very nice way to spend a couple of hours! We'll be back!
Barra was excellent. The tea and food were superb.
Classy, friendly and tasty!
It was wonderful Service is impeccable. I am very glad that we chose the St. Regis for brunch.
The breakfast buffet was underwhelming.
Great time!
Astor court's afternoon tea is always good. I frequently do their afternoon tea and they always meet my expectation. Service is always nice as well. Highly recommended
Lovely place to enjoy afternoon tea
