A very busy weekend in our town. Every restaurant was packed. Scossa did not disappoint. Great food and wonderful staff. Always on my short list of recommendations to visitors.
The food here is amazing, especially the seafood dishes. They do a wonderful homemade pasta with lobster and fresh tomatoes
We always come and always bring our house guests and are never disappointed.
Scossa was a great find in small town Easton. The food was delicious and the ambiance was very friendly and warm. I talked to several shop owners around town who all raved about Scossa, saying it was one of the best meals around. They weren’t wrong!
The eggplant parmesan and ravioli with spinach and sage butter were delightful. I’d highly recommend Scossa to anyone visiting the area. Make a reservation!
One of our favorite restaurants in the Easton area. Friendly staff; polite and professional. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Comfortable seating and very nice ambiance. Have dined here on numerous occasions and always look forward to returning. Our meals have always been prepared to our liking. Would highly recommend this establishment if you are new to the Downtown Easton area. You won't regret the choice.
Have eaten here several times, always enjoyable and food tasty! Good for lunch, celebrations, etc.
Scallops and mushroom appetizer was excellent; Caesar Salad was perfect with white anchovies and just the right amount of dressing; each of our pasta entrees were perfect. Will definitely go back again when in the area.
All wonderful. Service, food, ambiance, choices, all pretty damn nice!
The service was amazing and the ambiance was there but it was quite expensive for the small meal sizes. Your paying for the experience and it was quite nice, not too loud, but felt like we had to talk quietly. I will say that when I got a side of asparagus, it was barely any asparagus, cost extra, and just tasted like it was plainly cooked. I marked that I wouldn't recommend to a friend, but that is because all my friends are in school and we all don't have too much money to spend. However, for a very special occasion, it could be worth the splurge.
We were in town on family business, and it was my husband's birthday. We had been told by a local resident how wonderful it is, and now we understand why it's her favorite restaurant in Easton. We certainly agree. We split the calamari and loved the spicy sauce. My husband had a Caesar salad without the white anchovies. I got the beef short ribs with Parmesan risotto; this was a special and to die for. Loved our dining experience.
This restaurant fulfilled the three aspects I always look for---atmosphere, food, service. My compliments to the management/owners!
I’m a tough critic but hard to find any negatives and the packed dining room before 7pm is proof they do it right.
Solid and dependable food and service the wine by the glass list is pedestrian and an opportunity for improvement to a higher rating
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal - the corner table was very comfortable and great for private conversation. A fun time! We will come again.
A lovely place in downtown Easton. Our forth visit, we go there every time we are in the area. Upscale Italian, we ate early, 6 pm, weeknight, it was uncrowded, severive was excellent and the meal wonderful. The meal was not inexpensive but it was a good value.
great food, lovely furnishings. The pace of our meal was a little off: salad arrived just a few minutes after our cocktails, and lots of attention from the waiter during the first half of the meal, but then it took about 20 or more minutes after finishing the main meal to get our dessert menus, and have our ordered coffee served.
Great food, a special place!
Always wonderful service and excellent food. A favorite!
As always service is excellent - good wine list - salads & homemade pastas are very good. Even our decaf coffee with yummy desserts was good! A pleasure to return.
From appetizer to main course to dessert, our meal was sublime. Great experience!!
Evertime we're in Easton, my wife must have their liver and onions and I want the cannelloni
We had another great dinner Saturday night. I had the Osso Buco, my wife had the swordfish. Both were excellent. Our server, Richard, did a great job! We highly recommend this restaurant.
We went to Scossa for their risotto. The night we were there they had shrimp risotto and it was excellent. The server had waited on us before and provided excellent service. We had asked for a quiet booth and there was a fairly loud group in the main dining area, so the hostess suggested a table in the bar. This was the first time we dined in the bar area and it was quiet and great. We will definitely return.
The service was fabulous. Everyone was incredibly helpful, accommodating and personable. The food was delicious from appetizer to the dessert. The atmosphere was lovely. We had a beautiful booth which looked out into the restaurant and out through the windows. I would highly recommend this restaurant as it is a rare find!
Scossa is still our favorite restaurant in Easton. Has been for years. And if you do know Richard, the waiter, you’re missing out. He’s our fave and we ask for him every time. The grilled octopus and salmon tartar were to die for and my husband raved about the veal Parmesan!
Disappointed that they ran out of salmon! That’s such a basic menu item...shouldn’t happen!
We dined outside for a lovely brunch/lunch and the service, drinks, food and ambiance could not have been better. The only drawback was the pesky flies that seemed determined to invade once food was placed on the table. Our waiter was attentive without being obtrusive, the salads, including a special crab salad were positively outstanding.
Would highly recommend and will be back this fall!
Understated elegance is how I would describe Scossa. We were seated promptly and the food was excellent. I made a notation on our Open Table reservation about bringing a piece of cake out for my fiancee's birthday and they not only complied with my request, they took the cake off the total of our bill! We would definitely come back.
Upscale Italian comfort food. Wonderful evening. Try to save room for dessert and coffee.
Reliable to the point of boring. Menu hasn’t really changed in over five years. But dishes are well prepared. Service is always snappy.
Outstanding service, delicious food and elegant surroundings. We brought visiting family here for dinner and they loved it too!
A staple of Eastern Shore dining. Very good food, wonderful, friendly service and nice ambiance.
Always terrific, our favorite spot. Service and food are superb.
We stop at Scossa every few months when we visit relatives nearby. It's always a great experience. The food is fabulous, service is outstanding, and it's right in the heart of a beautiful historic downtown.
Only in town for the night and glad we picked Scossa. Liked their spin on the classics. I had a duck ragu with rigatoni that was delicious. Service provided by Rich was excellent.
We had a great dinner. Had not been here in a long time and it still is one of the best in Easton.
This restaurant is beautiful with great food. They have a great covered patio on the town street. It is a little expensive but definitely worth it for a date night or special occasion!
We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Scossa. The server was congenial and offered helpful guidance. She was attentive without being “too present”. The octopus appetizer was spectacular, as was the calamari. The eggplant Parmesan was outstanding. We decided to visit again during our short vacation! Scossa is a
MUST when in Easton. Bravissimo!
Second time dining here. Both times food and service excellent. Lovely ambiance. Chocolate torte worth the calories.
Wait staff was just wonderful. Pleasant, attentive and very knowledgeable. A real pleasure.
