Rustico Restaurant & Wine Bar

Wonderful food! Rustico is one of our favorite date night restaurants in a gem of a town. It has small town ambience with delicious food. My husband and I had a four-course meal with Caesar salad, brie, filet, and creme brulee. All our favorite staples at this restaurant.

We had a wonderful waiter. The food was delicious, especially the brie and mushroom appetizer and seafood crepes. Wasn't a fan of the 'donut' type dessert, but our table ordered other wonderful Tiramisu and other desserts. Great ambiance!

We enjoyed a wonderful Birthday dinner for my wife. The food and service were fantastic! We will definitely be back.

Tastefully decorated, with eye-catching Tiffany window insert and artwork by talented locals, this little jewel in the town of Stevensville is worth "discovering." Worth mentioning is a superb lobster bisque and a memorable seafood stew as well as a savvy wine list (half price bottles on Wednesday) and sweet service. Open daily for lunch and dinner. Private dining rooms and pretty little porch.

We have been here before and have always enjoyed ourselves. Meal was good, as was the service, and BONUS, it was "Half Price on Bottles of Wine night". You can't beat that!!!

food was excellent. featured red wine was not available and the server disclosed it ran out the night before....yet it was presented on Monday's special menu. Service was poor....you needed at least one additional server.

Had a very relaxing afternoon with great food, wine, and company. We were not rushed and the service was excellent!

This little Italian restaurant in Stevensville is surprisingly delightful and delicious. We have been there a number of times this summer and always find the menu choices and preparations to be fresh, flavorful and well presented. From appetizers to pasta to entrees, it is worth the visit -- or two or three.

We’ve lived near this restaurant for 16 years, and never went until this last week. No reason as to why we’ve never gone, we just have other restaurants that we frequent instead. No big deal. Anyway, I treated my mom and brother to a 49th birthday dinner after our plans had gotten cancelled, and she was excited to go- she had always wanted to. I made th reservation for the three of us, which was an easy and quick process- All was going well! However, we weren’t too pleased with our experience. I Waited 1.5 hours to get an appetizer with My family of 3 as the only ones in the dining room. The food was fine, a little expensive, but nothing too special or flavorful. The cozy atmosphere and dining isn’t really our style, and we didn’t feel overly welcome in it. The food was a little expensive for what it was, and wasn’t worth the final price, considering the wait and the type of food. I also asked for a box for my dinner, and the waitress said she would box it for me, though never returned with my food/box, meaning half of my $20-something pasta was wasted. I didn’t feel like waiting and waiting again for the box, so we just left after paying the bill and tip. The waitress was nice, but eventually, the dining room filled up towards the end of our dinner, and she was the only one serving several tables, so we obviously didn’t get the attention (hence the lack of take-away pasta). I don’t think I’ll visit this place again, unfortunately.

By far our favorite place to go on Kent Island, MD. The food is amazing, the wine list is good and the service cannot be beat. Definitely worth finding this off the beaten path restaurant. Also good for an afternoon snack at the wine bar!

Started in the wine bar had great service bar tender was attentive and brought a selection of whites for me to try because I couldn't make up my mind. We ordered the anti pasta appetizer and it was very good. The four of us moved to the dining room it was quiet table and chairs were tight but it didn't bother me because there weren't many people there at that time. Really enjoyed the special chicken dish with the sausage sauce and veggies. Great place to meet friends for conversation.

My husband had the filet mignon and he said it was delicious. I had the rockfish served with a wine sauce with cherry tomatoes and olives. It was excellent. Our waitress Sarah was very helpful and very knowledge about the food and right on with recommendations.
The restaurant is a real gem! We already are planning to revisit on 8/31 with friends.

The food at Rustico was fabulous! Their special "Soft Crab Piccata" made me practically lick the plate!

Great find in a little town just a hop over the bridge from Annapolis. I highly reccomend. Hope to go back.

Rustico is one of the go to restaurants for my wife and I on KI. It's extremely consistent with both food and service. We love it here. They have a decent wine list as well and even do wine dinners periodically that are thoroughly enjoyable. Great Pasta and fish particularly.

Fathers Day lunch was good- but when we booked the reservation we were hoping for an actual brunch menu with eggs and some sweet options, but what we ordered was still very tasty. Just so happened that we were there at the same time as a large bridal party so it was a little loud and our food took a little longer than normal because it came out after theirs. Completely understandable in all regards but overall it was good food and we left happy.

We took our daughters for my husbands birthday. We always rave about the filet mignon so all 4 of us ordered it but we were told there were only 3 left. So my daughter settled for the pork tenderloin which was very DRY. Service was ok but our server didn’t seem to care that we were unhappy with the pork.

We have stopped and enjoyed dinner at Rusticos for many years now. It is a convenient location. I felt this time the food and service were not as good as they once were. It was ok but not great. I hope they improve soon.

Another exceptional experience of fine Italian dining at a reasonable rate. Service and atmosphere tremendous.
