Incredible gnocchi dish, and the dessert was wonderful too. Great cocktails as well and fabulous service. Can’t wait to go back.

Good food and service. I am at fault for not requesting a quieter area..

My husband and I enjoyed the Sunday dinner special - salad, entree and dessert for $26. The smaller portions were ample and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Two things spoiled the experience - first the manager was lurking at the front door with a scowl and although he was almost blocking our entrance, did not greet us - actually seem perturbed we were there. He then proceeded to stalk around the restaurant during our dinner - very uncomfortable and not an inviting atmosphere.

The restaurant was relatively empty (Saturday night during Georgia football game) and we felt very rushed. We ordered a bottle of wine then our meals - they brought our food out within 3 minutes of our waiter placing our orders. Our waiter was even taken by surprise when he came by the table and we already had our food. Very poor timing and presentation.

The food was good and we so enjoy the restaurants on Dresden - will probably give them another try. Hope it was an off night and that the do better next time.

Great cozy and moody atmosphere.

The food was excellent. I ordered a dirty martini but it was not dirty at all. I had to send it back and get another one. Then it was taken away before I was finished with it. It was gone before I could protest.

Daniel was my server as always and he was fenomenal, best server in town.

It was excellent value and service. We had the chicken which was absolutely amazing. Havoc Joe Gransden for our entertainment for the evening was a very nice topping to the evening.

The food is unbelievable, great ingredients and great flavors. Staff was very friendly and very helpful with great recommendations all evening. The room is cozy, great for talking and enjoying your time with your table, but not overly stuffy. One word of advice, the best dishes are often the specials. Enjoy.

Have been going to Valenza since Michel opened the restaurant. Having moved away from the neighborhood a couple of years ago we come back whenever we're passing through ATL. It's remarkable that the place never looks tired or worn. The service and energy are still there as well as the tried and true food.

Wonderful atmosphere great wait staff amazing food not overly seasoned but wonderfully balanced. My wife and I were celebrating her 60th Birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it special for her. We went on Wednesday night specifically to see Joe Gransdon play in an intimate setting that was relaxing and fun. We will be going back to enjoy this jewel of a restaurant soon

An African American couple was seated nearby. I have never heard such profanity, anywhere or anytime. I have never heard such repeated and loud use of the F word or the MF word. It was only the female who was loud and extremely profane. It was a problem for all the diners. There were families and at least one child. The management did nothing. We asked to be moved and they immediately moved us. I have never witnessed such behavior at any restaurant.

Everything was great. It was a really nice evening. We wanted to sit and chat. The server was great and never rushed us.

I’ve eaten here several times. The past 2 times have just been so-so. Service was kinda off and my food wasn’t as delicious as I had there before. Not sure what is going on but usually we love it. Our waiter was a little off too.

Five of us shared two appetizers, we each had a main course, and then we shared two desserts. My halibut was outstanding, the bread pudding and date tart were a hit.

As always they were outstanding in all aspects. My husband has Celiac's disease (and yes we go to an place that specializes in pasta so I can get my pasta fix) and they have been very careful to make sure his experience is gluten free. Ask for Anthony if you have the same issue...he will take good care of you if you make sure and tell him if you have issues!!

Craig was very accommodating to our large party, even coming by to say hello and check on the group. Our server was very knowledgeable, and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or date night. The atmosphere is cozy and classy.

A friend was in town from Memphis and this is our "go-to" restaurant for such occasions; easy to get to in rush hour, convenient valet service, wonderful food. The Papperdelle is always a winner but even better on this visit. The cocktails and wine delicious. Service spot on.

Wonderful dining experience, not your average Italian cuisine.

I am very sad to write that our latest visit to this normally terrific restaurant was less than satisfactory. We came to celebrate my husband‘s 60th birthday. I had reserved through Open Table and left instructions to please surprise us with a dessert that I would be happy to pay for. Normally Valenza has been extremely attentive and excellent responding to instructions I have left on Open Table. Our server, Anthony, was modestly attentive at best. We sat outside given the fine weather. But I had the distinct impression that had we been seated inside it we would’ve gotten better service. Although my fish (red snapper) was absolutely perfect, my husband’s short ribs were undercooked and tough. During our meal, I received an email that our reservation through Open Table had been canceled. Clearly, the greeter had either not read my request or thought we were walk-ins, despite the fact that when we entered I had noted we had made a reservation through Open Table for 6:45 PM. Small things are slipping: the white bread we received prior to cocktails was stale (the ciabatta was fine though), we waited too long after requesting our check, my napkin was stained. Valenza has been a dependable excellent meal in our neighborhood. And the beet salad has been updated and is excellent. But right now, in light of the service and quality of the entrée , I think we paid substantially more than we should have for what we got.

We Love this restaurant and when I needed to plan a surprise dinner party for my husband‘s birthday this was the place I knew would do a fabulous job! Originally it was to be eight people and at the last minute friends called and said they were driving into town so I had to make it 10. The hostess called to confirm my voicemail and gladly accommodate the request. We were seated in a semi private part of this quaint restaurant. Josh did a fabulous job taking care of all of our needs, pacing each course appropriately for the lively conversation. The food and wine were spectacular as always so thank you to the entire team at Valenza!!

Food is good and service is friendly, engaging and patient. Very noisy near the bar and sometimes the food is slow.

This was our second visit.
We enjoy going when Joe is there for the live music.
The food is delicious, service great and prices reasonable for this quality of food and atmosphere.

Anthony took wonderful care of our party of four celebrating two birthdays!

I was the only one who has been here before, but I feel sure the others will be back!
