We had the squash bruschetta, squid ink pasta, vongole, and gelato. The vongole was a little salty, but the squid ink pasta and bruschetta were terrific. The Sauvignon Blanc and Prosecco that the waiter recommended based on our menu were also fantastic. The half pasta portions were just right for us, but regular people (we eat very little) will need to go for the full portions. We enjoyed the food, service, and ambience, we would definitely come back in the future.

Fantastic dinner experience. All the food was great. We made sure to splurge on everything and are not disappointed. Our waitress even gave us some dessert wine to help us celebrate settling on our house!

The food was delicious. The restaurant had live music, which my wife and I enjoyed. Our only issue was our waiter Hassan. He was not very attentive and seemed to show favor to other customers. It was my wife’s birthday, and although he brought out the birthday dessert (I pre-arranged it but still had to remind him), he did not acknowledge her birthday. My rating would have been higher if he was a better waiter.

Heard some good news about this place so me and a coworker decided to give it a try. I had the Duck entree and it was delicious. My coworker, stated how he is not a fan of duck so I encouraged him to try, he loved it too!
Tasty meal, interesting layout that breaks the space but works well, and a lively crowd for a Wednesday. I will be going back.

What a hidden gem for lunch in Baltimore. Great business lunch location. Delightful staff. Comfortable seating and dining areas. The squid ink pasta was sublime, but the veal Milanese was the star. The tenderized, pounded veal on the chop kept the meat juicy. The salad was a tiny bit overdressed but nothing to fuss about.

The food was great. We had meatballs and fried chicken for appetizers which were both to die for! Entrees were also good and Italian donuts for dessert! Yum! Service was disappointing. Had to ask several times for water and to have plates cleared from the table. Food definitely worth the visit. Service not worth the price tag.

Party of four. Everyone’s first course, entree, and dessert was delicious. Lights very low, a little too low for my taste, but once the food was served we didn’t notice.

The food was delicious, the ambiance was great, the waitress and waiters were awesome. My only small suggestion is to make sure the food was hot. The meals were not hot but luke warm.

Tagliata was fabulous. We have been trying to go since it opened and always had to changenpir reservation. This week we took our adult children to celeyboth of their birthdays. It was an absolute home run. The outside bartended went above and beyond due to our choices being inside and his inital greeting and welcoming set the stage for a great night. In addition, the server was exceptional. She knew the menu cold, gave wonderful recommendations and really executed in a 5 star way. If all the servers are as good as she- Tagliata will continue to surpass the competition.

I've seen nothing but great reviews and heard a lot of hype about the restaurant, so I went in with very high expectations. Our table was not ready when we arrived at the time of our reservation. We ended waiting about 10 minutes past our reservation time , which wouldn't be a big deal but there is no waiting area, or seats, and the space where we had to stand is a heavy traffic area for the waitstaff. If it hadn't been so cold we would have waited outside. Perhaps turning on one of the patio propane heaters for those who have to wait for their tables to not be in the way? Finally we were seated at our table and selected a bottle of wine to share and later ordered our food. We enjoyed the wine we selected, it was a reasonably priced bottle and you do have a notable wine list. The food is what left us disappointed. We ordered the calamari and the meatballs for appetizers. The calamari was good, the little bit that there was among the other items in the dish. The meatballs started out good but ended with a gamey aftertaste. Neither of us are a fan of gamey type meats like venison and maybe that was an ingredient but I wouldn't have ordered them if I had known. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli. I was so disappointed. I know it said there was mascarpone and lemon in the ravioli, but I never tasted either, and the filling itself was very dry. The sauce was too thin had very little flavor and my ravioli were way more than al dente, they were hard. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan. He's picky about it and specifically asked if they pound the chicken very thin (that's how he likes it) and the waiter said yes. What came out was not thin as promised, if at all, and the breading used A LOT of basil. I love basil, but he barely likes pesto so this was just too mush basil for him. We tried to salvage the meal with the Earl Grey Panna Cotta but even that was bland with very little flavor. Maybe it was just an off night for the kitchen but I can't recommend to my friends.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner with two other couples. We were seated in a semi-private space where it was quiet, but still had great ambience. Our server was amazing - a good balance between patient and attentive - never pushy or intrusive. The menu was great - hard to make choices because so much sounded so good! We shared some appetizers and then each got a main course. The salmon entree was good; the butternut squash bruschetta was so good that we ordered another!

Our only disappointment was the lack of a friendly greeting when we arrived - not welcoming at all. Our sever made up for it, but the folks at the door have a lot to learn from her.

Located in a rehabbed warehouse area near the waterfront in Baltimore, the restaurant exceeded my expectations. Our group visited the restaurant for a business lunch at the former home of a past favorite, Fleet Street Kitchen. The new Italian concept lives up to the quality and creativity of the former venue. I thought my salad of roasted carrots finished with honey and truffle oil was inspired. Others were delighted by their pasta. Roasted Brussels sprouts were a hit as well. The reclaimed industrial decor manages to be both casual and upscale.

I just love this place so much. I am not sure why people are all hyped up about Bygone, this place is sooo much better. Food wise, service wise and I love the ambience here. When you sit outside those marble tables, lights, heaters - reminds me of Europe. Love it!

Great Dinner!
Nice relaxing creative cocktail in the Elk Room then to our table. Jessica was one of the best we have ever had facilitate us anywhere. The food was spectacular from the cheese with the bread to a mix of antipasti and crudi. We then had half portion pasta followed by meat courses. Then dessert. Every bite or every course was wonderful. Already looking forward to returning

Had an amazing time. Fantastic food, great ambiance then progressed to a very tasty Caesar salad (fresh crispy Romaine hearts, fresh parmigiana, cracked pepper, yum). Crusty bread was served with a chunk of fresh parmigiana. We were hungry for seafood, so my wife ordered the Lobster Ravioli which we both loved. The pasta was amazingly fresh and lobster cream sauce had hint of lemon. I ordered the Seafood Stufato which had branzino,shrimp,clams,mussels,calamari in a tomato broth. Because I also wanted to try their fresh pasta, our extremely helpful and friendly server, Meli, suggested that spaghetti pomodoro noodles placed under the seafood would be a good accompaniment. it was simply amazing!! The broth was tasty & was light enough allowing the seafood to shine with their own unique tastes. Because I was so ecstatic with what I ordered & with their fresh pasta, Meli gave us as an added bonus, a sample of their house pasta special, the Squid Ink Campanelle!! This was amazing & was a work of art. this is what I will I order next time when we return!! We ordered a nice bottle of Pouille Fuisse which was wonderful, again with Meli's assistance. BEST FOOD, AMAZING PASTA, AMBIANCE, VIBE & FANTASTIC SERVICE!! This now ranks as our favorite and I'm positive it will be yours also! We will be back soon.

Outdoor dining , outstanding! Inside,extremely noisy and add to that live music. Was very busy so service was a little slower but overall was a nicely paced meal. Large serving sizes so prepare to share! Great cocktails!

A very energetic scene.Not the ideal place for a-tête-à-tête.

Delicious food. It was very loud so not great for meeting new people and going over business. The squid ink pasta is amazing. Lobster ravioli was delicious too. Greasy wait staff. Love the coloring and ambiance. If anything it could be a little less loud.

Love love love this place! Great food, delicious drinks and great wine. The squid ink pasta is a show stopper. Not a bad dish on the menu! Can get pricey so make sure you go in knowing you're going to spend some cash.

Booked a table for 8:30pm and arrived on time, as the table was not ready we were shown to the bar. After 25 minutes we were shown to the table by a nice receptionist. The table was in the corridor just before the kitchen not a nice place to sit considering the traffic and kitchen noise and that there were other options available). Service was prompt and friendly, food was good but somewhat under cooked. Overall it was an ok experience but not as good as our first visit.

Took my girlfriend here for her 25th birthday. The experience was great!!!! Servers were extremely polite and expedient. Food was on par with what was expected for a restaurant of such quality. She had the mint lasagna and I had the lobster fra diavolo. We had the meatballs as an appetizer and they were exquisite, very tender. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and I did as well. The ambience was accented in the lounge area by an artist on piano playing live music. Overall a phenomenal night to remember! We will definitely be returning. Thank you for this experience!

On a weekend girls trip to Baltimore my friends and I saw Tagliata as we drove by and thought it looked great from the outside--and we were right! The menu, though pricey for Baltimore, was standard given that we are used to New York prices. Large wine list, tasty bread, and an incredible squid-ink pasta really hit the spot!

The food was very good. But we found the service to be somewhat inconsistent. The server tried to course out our food, which in theory is great, but we ended up getting our main entrees over 45 minutes after we had our appetizer. The tables next to us (who arrived after us) left at the same time or before us). We waited a while to get our salads and in between our mains.

The ambiance was very nice. There was a musician singing and playing the piano. we were right next to the piano so I thought it would be really noisy, but it actually was the perfect level of noise.

Had the server been a little less distracted, I think our meal would have been great.

Although the steak I got ($65) a la carte was dry ....and a simple cranberry & vodka was $12......the appetizers were decent but still way overpriced !!! The ambiance is EXCEPTIONAL and the "cheese man" dispurses some of the most excellent aged cheese I ever tasted! So....make sure to only order the apps (meatballs and chicken) ....get a couple drinks....your cheese, complimentary, then sit back by the piano player and ENJOY a $100 evening!(beats $350, that's what we spent)

From start to finish my Birthday dinner was a delicious and delightful experience. It was a very rainy evening and in spite of the weather we were greeted warmly and asked for our seating preference. The lounge music was very good (but loud), so we preferred the dining room. The host showed us several options and asked us if we would mind waiting for our choice to open up. Not at all. We headed to the bar, where we received an expertly made classic Negroni and enjoyed the lively bar scene. Within 10 minutes we were escorted to our table. The menu is classic Italian with a nod to sourcing local product, and specializes in house-cut meats, charcuterie, pastas, etc. Our first course consisted of two of the house pasta specialties. The classic Bolognese was rich and flavorful with the delicate hand cut noodles. The squid-Ink Campanelle is a "flavor-bomb" with incredible umami rich noodles, crab, and wonderful crispy bread crumbs! Saltimbocca alla Romana took a decidedly unique twist with the rather thick veal cutlet, however the sauce was delightfully piquant, with sage and lemon butter. The Halibut filet was wonderfully seared, and cooked to perfection! Service was great; attentive without being intrusive. Lauren our server was very knowledgeable and professional. Shout out to the host Nick Camp, who provided us with a couple "birthday extra's" – a selection of house charcuterie, of which the smoked duck breast prosciutto was TDF. Nick also sent over a complimentary duet of house-made sorbet. We had opted not to have dessert because the portions were sizeable enough for us to ask for to-go containers, but this proved a wonderful palette cleanse:) The wine list is long and impressive, and honestly a bit pricey. We chose a 2015 Chianti Classico Riserva which complemented our meal quite well. Both Nick and the sommelier were available to advise on the many wonderful wine selections. All in all a GREAT birthday dinner. We will be back!
