Brussels are amazing and we always have to get the Kale and Pistachio pizza!

As always, Hersh's never disappoints. The Porchetta was something special for sure, as it melted in your mouth. The pizza and pasta are always amazing, and the staff and atmosphere are always great too. Don't forget the delicious cocktails or affordable wine list. One of my all time favorite places!

We do like Hersh’s quite a bit. The kale salad and eggplant fritters are really good. The portions are really small for the price point so we sometimes leave feeling hungry but the food is good. I got the chicken and wood fired Brussels sprouts and it was pretty good but very under seasoned. Doctored it up with some salt, and it was tasty. Love the wine selection there.

We thought the spaghetti carbonara was just all right, pasta was thick and it was dry and not very flavorful. Portions were small and we opted for dinner size. Nothing came with the dinners, not even side of pasta or bread. Felt it was pricey for an Italian restaurant. Pizza was probably best value. Would not recommend the restaurant to friends. Much better options in Little Italy!

Amazing as always, a true fixture of the neighborhood. Went for Italian-American night and everything we had was outstanding.

The Salsiccia pizza, the Papa’s meatballs were good, but the Tagliolini was just ok. My husband liked the Tomato Crostini and the Apple tart more than I. From the description “...we wait for all year!”, I thought it would be something special but it didn’t wow me. It was ok! The special cocktails on the menu were ok. Nothing to brag about.

We go here often and the food has always been good. Unfortunately, our favorite, pasta carbonara, has been hard to eat because of a painful amount of pepper.

This is our favorite restaurant in Baltimore. Chef Josh has an excellent hand with pasta, pizza, fish and just about anything. Always tasty!

As always, we had a wonderful time at Hersh’s! Our food did not disappoint. We tried the meatballs and they were amazing! We absolutely love Hersh’s and our experience the other night just reiterated how great it is. The atmosphere is fantastic. The food is amazing. Who doesn’t love homemade pasta and pizza? Thank you for a great meal. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is a real “find”. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The noise level inside was quite loud, but that was due to loud neighboring tables which are close together. That said, I would really recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Italian food.

the pizza is so amazing that we always order one (usually a margherita w/pancetta) to take home, but it's the appetizers that are truly above & beyond...

Absolutely love Hersh's, I can't say a bad word about it. The menu changes often, with seasonal dishes included, but they keep the general outline the same. I haven't had a bad dish here, and I get excited to try their new dishes every time, and I also have a couple favorites I like to go back to when I'm really craving them. Their pizza is fantastic- having moved from NYC, I was afraid I wasn't going to have access to good pizza anymore, but whenever the craving strikes, we head here! Their bar menu is also spectacular and changes with the seasons- from refreshing watermelon cocktails in the summer to warming spiced drinks in the winter. I've made reservations here, but also just strolled in and been seated in a timely manner. It's a wonderful addition to the neighborhood, and I love going there for a random weeknight as well as a special dinner.

Hersh’s was great. Wait staff was superb making spot on recommendations for drinks, appetizers and dinner. Hidden gem in Federal Hill. Will be back for sure.

Our experience at Hersh’s was outstanding!
We were immediately greeted and when I gave our name they said if we didn’t mind waiting ( we were early) the quiet table we requested would be ready. We happily sat at the bar and the table was ready in no time. The service was excellent and the food so delicious! We had the green beans and lamb meatballs to start and their incomparable pizza for an entree. Because we were too full for dessert they gave us the green beans as an anniversary treat!
It was wonderful!

Must. Have. The. Donuts. Everything else, incl. the cocktails, are fantastic.

Really delicious handmade pasta and food. Kind of expensive for a small bowl of noodles (even handmade) without any protein so for that reason I can’t go back regularly like I would like. Good service and I like the outdoor seating.

We love Hersh’s but it is very loud and the loud music doesn’t help. However,the food is great, especially the pizza.

Do go hungry! $25 for a small, little, tiny serving of pasta that couldn't cost more than 50 cents is ridiculous. It was good, but come on it's pasta. Give me some!!! There wasn't even rolls to fill up on. I would never go back unless I was on a strict starvation diet. Little Italy just up the street would never serve such a small portion and you would always get a roll. Don't go! I'm shocked so many people have this restaurant such high reviews.
